Had such a great lunch at this place. My brother called and said let's go to lunch. He isn't from the area so it was up to me to pick a place. I found Cooper's Corner on Google and decided that was the place. Lunch was excellent! I had the Cream of Mushroom soup and it was the best I had ever had. Our server said that's why she likes to work on Mondays... LOL For an entree I had the homemade Famous Chicken Fingers and they were juicy and the breading was really good. But the star of that entree was the homemade honey mustard sauce for dipping. It was really good and I wound up taking some home. My brother had the ribs and he thought they were excellent as well. I will definitely be back, but I'll make sure it's a Monday so I can get some more of that awesome soup! The restaurant is also very appealing...lots of wood and iPad menus. read more

The perfect dinner date restaurant. This joint is so classy with a Rat Pack vibe, linen tablecloths, heavy silverware, a wine list, gorgeous leather booths, and soft music from 1960-1967 playing in the background. A lovely place for intimate conversation and getting to know someone. Most of the menu entrees are under $20 and include sides, salad, and bread. There is quite an assortment, too. Is the food stellar? Not really, but I guarantee you'll feel comfortable here and be able to listen to your date talk about hopes and dreams. read more

While the menu initially seems confusing and unexciting, the food we got was good. The burger was served medium and the patty was scratch made and tender. The beef stroganoff was excellent. They seemed to use an authentic preparation which is unusual to find. The beef was tender and rare (which I prefer). The sour cream was on the side which was refreshing. My daughters got the chicken tenders (house made) and pot roast sandwich which were both very good. read more

This reminded me of an old timey steakhouse where you would see in the movie's big Italian families sitting down and those men in suits in the corner while they had their cloth napkins and glasses of wine discussing business. There were families that came in for Christmas parties and couples that came in just for an afternoon lunch. The environment was warm and engaging . The staff was on top of every order, even with the crowds of people coming in. The food was decadent. I had an asparagus salad with steak, and it was more than filling. We ordered appetizers, which included a cup of chicken soup and bacon wrapped dates. If there had been more of them on the plate, I would have left that put place in pain. The portions were more than enough for the 3 of us to share. The chicken soup was quite good homemade aid and not too salty. The warm bread at the start of dinner was a hit right from the start. The atmosphere and location are excellent for us since we live in the neighborhood. Beautiful white table cloths & wood... But our family of about a dozen including my 96 year old mother who drove 90 minutes to join us for the Mother's Day brunch buffet were disappointed. The selection of food was not the grand display one would expect for the occasion. There was nothing celebratory about it. New potatoes were under cooked, the French toast was not crisp & looked limp, there was tons of meat and only a few vegetables, the salad was not bad, the biscuits were tasty, but there was only a gravy with meat in it. There should have been smoked salmon (something like Ewa's Polish Deli in Bloomingdale sells), lots of fresh veges, deviled eggs and cheeses. It was like visiting a 1950s restaurant. I suggest the owners visit their competition in Warrenville: Rock Bottom, Eddie Merlot's, A2B (South Indian) & in Wheaton: Ditka's, Choun's (Thai), Proof no. 5, Gia Mia & Movable Feast to name a few. The. In Naperville: Santo Cielo, Allegory, Hugo's Frog Bar & Fish House & Jin 28. Where is the pazaz Cooper's Corner? You have great potential in a wonderful location. We had a party of 6 for Mother's Day. We have been here before, the food has been good. We thought we could order off of the menu, but that was not an option today. It was buffet only. They said there was a carving station but NO there was not one there. It was a separate table with a foil pans filed with pre-cut ham and pre-cut overcooked very tough beef. Very disappointing. . No one went back for 2nds. When we booked, no one said it was a brunch only. Many of the items on the buffet were ok . We have ordered filet and eggs on a Sunday in the past ( off their menu) and it was $26.99. Today's brunch was $34.99 pp and 20% added on automatically. We paid a total of $282.00 ($43.18 )was tip? coffee was not included and was $5.98 for 2. and also extra & $6.48 for paying by charge card. We usually go to Pinstripes Brunch which is same price but has a real carving station. Shrimp, Omelette station and a chocolate station and so much more. We decided to just do Cooper Corner for convenience and thought we would order off menu. We are all very disappointed and will probably never go back for anything . Too many other good places to have to settle for being ripped off on Mothers Day. Very bad, sad and no positive recommendations from us We like to support local but can't in this case. read more

Had the most delightful Baby Shower at Coopers Corner on 09/30/23. The staff was extremely accommodating from the first phone call to the actual celebration. The food choices were exceptional and delicious. Would definitely recommend this facility for any private event. My guest continue to me text after the event to say how nice it was. read more

A homey, local restaurant that holds events and special theme nights. Good, good food (traditional American), and very friendly wait staff. It was our first time to dine here, even though it's right in our neighborhood and we drive by it often. The exterior has a western bar-type appeal, and thus, we weren't too interested to check it out. We went for an office luncheon and the people of Cooper's Corner were most accommodating for our group. Service was great...very attentive to our needs. The restaurant itself has such a cozy feel and I loved that we could hear each other. So many restaurants these days are too noisy. Finally, the food was quite tasty. We went there last night even though it was a long drive from my house. I made reservations for dinner and we were seated right away. We mainly went there to hear the Sting Rays play so we decided to have dinner before the performance. We enjoy music from the 50 and 60's. I ordered the Parmesan Crusted Pork Chop. It was very good. The only complaint is they give you only one pork chop. Most restaurants I have been usually always give 2 Pork Chops. My wife had the Barbecue Pork Shank and she enjoyed it. We both had desserts afterwards. It was a nice evening of good food and good music. read more

Went to Coopers Corner the other night to catch some live music with some dinner. The service was ok, not our waitresses fault, there was a party of about 12-15 people in the room which caused other tables to not taken care of promptly. Our drinks were mediocre, wife's glass had a chip in it, asked for new one and they just poured the drink into a different glass. The bacon wrapped had a funny smell to them, not sure if it was the bacon or the sauce, ate one and gave up. The ribs(probably a mistake to order after the appetizer) were mushy and only got through about 3 before giving up. The best part of the meal was the baked potato I think. Just not a good place to grab a quick dinner and listen to music. read more

It wouldn't have mattered much if they were busy - but we were one of three couples in the entire restaurant and our server was painfully slow. I will say the French Onion soup was fantastic, but my Short Rib Melt was bland and flavorless, topped with warm & soggy lettuce. Really chef, skip the lettuce in that dish. A well-seasoned cabbage would be better suited. My lady's shrimp and vegetables likely came from the freezer - not very tasty. My final thoughts - why serve sub-par food when you have a restaurant that could be so much more?!? Your music playlist during dinner was fantastic, bring the food and service up to match and you have a winner! Sadly, Coopers Corner won't be on our playlist. read more
