You walk in here and you feel like you're on an island. The food is cart bean inspired and just packing flavor and cooked with love. For appetizers we got the Dominican ribs and sriracha chicken wings! Both appetizers were out of this world. I got a variety of tacos that were awesome. My wife's sister's husband got a burger he loved and his wife got some type of a risotto dish. Everyone's food was great and the drinks were amazing as well. I really loved this place and look forward to coming back. Great place to play the bar and watch sports. They offer valet parking and it is located on shinecock bay with a beautiful view! Unlike other reviews that…read moremention poor customer service at the window, I don't think I've ever had that experience and I've been here many many times. I've gotten lobster rolls ranging from the Guppy (smallest) all the way to the Whale (largest, obviously). Yes, it's expensive but I don't think they skimp on any of their portions! 4oz always looks like 4oz, etc.. My favorites that I come back for are the LOBSTER FRITTERS, they are outstanding! The hot lobster roll and I also truly love, and their cold lobster roll with the citrus mayo. They have different selections of mayo for the cold rolls you can choose from... I believe there might be a truffle and then there's also classic mayo. Most rolls come with arugula on them which I don't opt for lettuce/greens on any of my rolls but I don't mind it here because it's just a touchhhhh of arugula They have a cute little shaded area you can sit in to eat your meal, although it's usually empty because most just take it to-go but my favorite is parking the car and eating it outside :)

We stopped, were greeted cheerfully, and quickly found parking before heading to the window to order. My daughter had been there before, but this was my first visit, and we were both treated very well by the staff, including the Vice President of the Shinnecock Nation, who teased me for comparing their lobster rolls with ones I had tried previously at the original Lobster Roll in Montauk, Lunch in Southampton, and Cousins' Maine Lobster trucks back in Pennsylvania. He said theirs use fresh, not frozen lobster meat and are better. We both got the four ounce "Guppy" served Hamptons style - warm lobster topped with warm butter and chives over a bed of arugula served on a toasted brioche roll that came with a generous portion of classic shoestring fries and a pickle. Our sandwiches and fries were terrific, and I even got to try a Montauk iced tea, a local favorite that has half the sugar of Gold Peak sweet tea and came highly recommended by one of the private chefs in the Hamptons that I follow on social media. Overall, we had a great experience.

We ordered chips & quac to start. There was an abundance of chips and the quac is made with lime so it's nice and zesty. They offered a hot sauce and a salsa verde in the little cups & they complimented the food nicely. Watch out for the hot sauce-- it's SPICY. I almost lost my taste buds before the food came bc it was so good. I had a shrimp burrito that was massive! I ended up fishing the shrimps out with a fork towards the end; I couldn't muscle it but I also couldn't stop eating. It came with a side of more chips. My husband had a chicken quesadilla & taco combo that came with refried beans topped with cheese, rice & a salad. Super filling & delicious! I dipped the chips in the beans and loved it. As we ate the phone rang off the hook. They probably do insane take out since it's a little place with only about 6 tables. It was reassuring that the food is super fresh! Deff a solid option out here where places don't seem to open until 12pm.

I had no idea there was outdoor seating, or I would've requested that. The atmosphere was very casual with hits playing on the speakers and football reruns on the TVs, but none of that took away from the experience. Now onto the food... I ordered the hot lobster roll and a lobster bisque cup. The roll came with fries, but they gratuitously let me sub them out for sweet potato fries at no extra charge. They'll also throw in another roll if you notify the server you plan to split the hot lobster roll with somebody. I've never had one before, but I thought it was good! The roll could've been sliced better since it was difficult to pack the lobster on the sides, but that seemed to be a one-off since others in my party had a better sliced roll. The lobster bisque was thick and creamy. Thicker than what you'd expect, but still very good and they did not skimp out on the seafood. They came out quickly after ordering, which I guess is due to them just having to pour it into a cup in the back. I was expecting it to come with the rest of my meal, so I saved a little once my entree came. Overall, we had a fun experience, and I recommend this spot for a casual meal that can satisfy everyone, due to the plentiful menu options.

Redemption! I always…read moretry to keep an open mind when visiting a restaurant, especially if it's new. Well, I'm happy to say this one has matured very well. Just walking in, we were warmly greeted, then quickly seated. This place is "picnic style", so you're given menus at your table, but order at the counter (I personally like that vibe). Anyway, we ordered their 1/4 pound, five-meat sampler (pulled pork, pulled chicken, brisket, a competition-style rib and a whole smoked sausage) and they converted me. Everything was nothing short of awesome. Both the pork and chicken were juicy and tender, the brisket this time around was smoked to succulent perfection and the rib was nothing short of excellent (not 'fall off the bone", but with that perfect competition "pull" that really won me over). The sausage I learned was locally sourced and a great compliment to the platter. Enough for two with small appetites to share. The sauce is still in small cups, but as I was told, there had been so much waste left on empty plates, that they had no choice to serve it that way, and I get that. Restaurants run on very thin margins these days. I had the spicy version again and really enjoyed it. Add in some live music played by a couple of good ole boys and since my first visit 9 months ago, this place has turned into a legit Long Island BBQ joint and will now be part of my usual rotation. I still think the hush puppies could have used a few seconds less in the fryer, but the flavor profile was spot on as was the corn fritters. But we left happy and full...I'm glad I was able to get back and try it again. Plenty of parking, all cards and a very laid back experience. Great for families or a stop by while cruising the north fork of Long Island. It's a gotta-go in my opinion. Nicely done!
