The short version of this review is that Alex and his team make things easy. They provided top quality service, at reasonable prices, and were done quickly! The slightly longer version is after several years of talking about getting a split system to replace the various window units I'd been using, I finally pulled the trigger this year. I had several contractors out to provide estimates. Right out of the gate, I appreciated Alex's approach. While the other contractors discussed various options with eyeball estimates, Alex actually took a few measurements to come up with ideas which could actually be implemented. As a result, he presented a few ideas on how to run things that others missed and (imo) offered the best end solution. Obviously pricing is going to be specific to the job at hand and a variety of other factors. In my case, I found the pricing to be very competitive while offering name brand and better equipment than others. A small deposit was required, which is fairly standard. When it came to installation, the team worked hard, quick, and clean. I got a 4 zone unit covering my Master bedroom, office, guest bedroom, and living room. They worked a slightly long first day to get all the physically installation done (along with all the loud work, so to speak). They came back for a half day to tie up the electrical, help me get the wifi setup, and wrap up. Regarding the electrical, in my case they needed to add a subpanel and when they noticed a few things not done quite right in my existing box, they made the necessary fixes/adjustments! The end result was top quality across the board. I'm comfortably sitting in the A/C as I type this review. Happy to provide Joint Way a 5-star review and have already recommended them to a few friends considering split systems. They fixed our problem super quick by jumping the condenser but told us that that it was a temporary fix and they didn't know how long it would last. I asked for a quote for a completely new condenser unit. After some research their price seemed very fair. They responded quickly and were out installing by Monday or Tuesday. Installation, including moving the condenser further away from the house's gas line took less than a day. They even came back later to change out the thermostat to a more modern one. We were trying to get a smart thermostat but we didn't have the C wire which the thermostat needs for constant power. They tried more than one solution and were there for hours. Unfortunately they couldn't make it work. But I was happy with the effort and it showed they cared about the service they were providing.

The plumber who showed up was courteous and knowledgeable. The plumber even hung around after 10 pm just to make sure there were no issues with the repair. The reason for 4 star instead of 5 is that the leak was due to failed solder at an elbow. For some reason, their trucks are not stocked with solder rods and by the time he assessed the situation, it was too late to go to a hardware store. He ended up replacing the copper elbow, which cost a lot more money, incurred more logistics with shutting off water to the boiler, draining the line, re-pressurizing the system, and had him stay at the house for over 2 hrs when it could have been completed in 15 minutes by sweating new solder onto the pipe elbow.
