Unfortunately this isn't gonna be the best review ever. I came down here for the first time to pick up! Since tomorrow is thanksgiving. I knew there was gonna be a line. We waited outside for 30 minutes Which I totally understand due to covid. That wasn't the problem. Let's just say the vibe out in the line with the security guards was better. Our bud tender Jenee B seem like she was not in the best of moods as when I asked questions about the flower I was given short answers. since we weren't allowed to pick up the jars and read them I had to rely on what the bud tender said. Music was so loud that it made it harder to communicate with someone that was already hard to talk too. Then I mentioned something about the price of certain flower. She said " if you going to come to a place like this you should be ready to spend a lot" As Someone who has pass experience as store manager. That is not what you tell your costumers!!! When I was checking out I notice there was a edible that I order missing. She quickly blame me for not choosing another even though I was never told that they were out of those. But anyways i ended up spending 270$. then when I got home I got another surprise. The $60 wifi og indica I order was replace by a Kush mountain hybrid! This right here lead me to leave this review. I would recommend to check other dispensaries before you check this one out. I would recommend THC in mission valley! read more

If you cannot get your shop open on time, back your hours off. it's a horrible look to have people waiting in your lot 2-3 times a week, the market is saturated and y'all are playin around...unless there's a different reason you're able to stay open? the weed is fine, the people that work there are chill when they show up. read more

Ordered online and picked a time to pick it up. Order was accepted and we pulled up to pick it up prior to closing and they told us they were closed (before the posted closing time) and said there's nothing they can do! Why the hell would you accept an order if you're not going to honor it?!? Bullshit. On to the next place. read more

Amazing service from Brittany W. I moved here from Texas and this is now my regular choice for marijuana

This is the Worse dispensary costumer service. I speak for myself. The Flower Products are Amazing, First and last time that I waste my time ,buying at this store , Even Better Service at San Bernardino Cookies , I always happy , forward to buy my regular weekly , There and nowhere else . The bud tenders won't even be friendly enough to encourage people to even take the time to show offers and deals . Even better I will try alternatives . Way to go. read more

First time here and the wait was so long but it makes sense because COVID inside was nicely put together they greet u with ur own personal employee to help the shopping go faster and it truly helps if u have no clue what ur doing in there lol I love the vibe the girl who helped me really looked out for me and got me just what I needed she was so helpful and funny and nice I believe her name was Giselle she had really awesome blue hair!!! She was great the whole staff was friendly and nice and professional I will be going back!!! The only reason why I gave this place 4 stars was the wait and the lounge/waiting area was as cleaned as I'd like I didn't even want to sit on the couch too much hair and dust read more

Cookies La Mesa Dispensary - Love their bags too!!!! - Cannabis Dispensaries Near Me - La Mesa, California

I go here alllll the time. I've tried a great deal of their selections and the plug play vape is my favorite! The staff are always so pleasant and the store is kept looking nice. Cookies is the best place to get your goodies read more

This place is VERY urban. I have had the pleasure of visiting many sketchy places however, this one is up there. You get a wand as soon as you enter which should have been a red flag. The girl behind the counter upon entrance was something else. You could see a couple of guys having a dance party inside, which was a second Fred flag and then finally, the set up. Wtf!! I highly suggest pass on this shop and go to one with a more professional staff. Furthermore, the selection was very limited compared to other shops. Heads up, they want guys before entering and only check a girls purse. Here is suggestion for the security guard waving his trusty wand like he was actually doing something. Educate yourself and look up Richard Reid. Idiot... read more

Love the cookie store everyone there is friendly and always makes sure I leave with some fire!!

This cookies is the worst most of the products are old and dated from 2022! l recently visited the la Mesa cookies store my first visit a was ignored for about 15 min then when l made a purchase l found out the bag was from nov. 2022 and l got it Apr. 2023 that's unacceptable and needs to be addressed. The store sell out dated products for full price. l returned the next day to rectify the situation and was rudely rejected and told to leave the store! I urge everyone to support the locals and stop going to this cookie store in San Diego it's nothing like the one in Los Angeles maywood ,cookies they now how to treat people. read more

I went in the store the display cannabis is at your reach for everyone to smell and touch ..kinda gross ... I went in to search for light DEP weed found one brand but was moldy ... And the real bummer is everything on display is NOT WHATS IN THE BAG ! so far I've visited 100 distros nothing is what they say it is totally bummed as I'm from Humboldt I expect buds in a bag that aren't moldy and decent sized .. here I got the worst read more

Cookies La Mesa Dispensary - 60$ 1/8 molded however this is biggest bud so far - Cannabis Dispensaries Near Me - La Mesa, California

Over priced! No special at all, and no discount for first time customers. First time I have ever experienced that. I think they might work on commission. Too many other options out there. I won't be back. read more

overall atrocious customer service: felt disgusted & victimized. purchased product based on said "product"('s)false claim thc%. returned later same day for refund, a manager of theirs heard my complaint, but absolutely would refund me. staff manager informed me reason(excuse?) products' testing not "regulated", or major discrepancy of advertised thc% comparison to actual product's label exceeding 11%. staff manager offered nothing via refund/exchange, but sadly a "anything in store 50% off" as equally/more damaging. Would discourage anyone looking to expect any decency, or any respectable customer service. :( read more

Way over priced.... service was fine but no promotions offered and more expensive then other dispensaries in the area.

Been to all other locations. Love Berner so I inherently had to try their new store. First experience was a bit unexpected. I showed up at 8:30 (30 minutes before close), and after the security guard let 6 people in, he looked at me and said sorry sir we got too busy today and have to close. I was the only other person standing outside the store. So you could let the other 6 people in but it was really going to ruin everything if you let me in too? I understand there are laws and regulations and you guys have to close on time and can't make any sales after 9. Anyways.. I'm sure it'll be great once I actually get to go inside.. read more

they wouldn't let us in 10 minutes before closing time. We knew what we wanted. Just wanted to come and go. But the security guard was like "nah we stop serving after 8:50." 8:50?? I drove 20 mins to y'all. Really?? read more

Im not really familiar with a lot of products and had some questions about products. Damien was the rep to help me and he was extremely helpful. He answered all my questions in a simple way that even someone new to using THC could understand. He showed patience when I was verifying that I understood him correctly so I'm really happy to have tried going to Cookies! Thanks Damien! read more

This place sucks, employees suck, return policy isn't followed and they had the nerve to tell me I was lying about what the manager himself said. They're always out of stuff, they're products aren't even good and Im sure there cartridges are cut with vitamin e. I say that because the last couple of cartridges I got from here would burn my throat and leave an itch. I have a better chance going to an illegal dispensary and getting better quality. Overpriced for mediocre service and quality. Save your money and support your local plugs. This dispensary is nothing but hype. read more

i don't think i've ever had a bad experience here! Everyone is super friendly and v confident in the products they recommend! I was helped by Paloma, literally an angel! She had to get something fixed with the register and i was waiting MAYBE 2 minutes and she was genuinely so apologetic for it and handled it exactly how she should have! Perfect customer service attitude read more

The best to my knowledge of my opinion would honestly be that there $7 pre-rolls are most definitely recommended and worth it. Otherwise then that I'd say it is a bit much pricey and would most definitely suggest going to a different tender , maybe one of the 4 that are located in spring valley with the many different variety of selection by choice of numerous $5 grams. Which is absolutely worth it rather than here honestly. read more

Stopped on by for help with arthritis pain on my wrist, got greeted and walked in by a Damien. He had the perfect suggestion a 3 to 1 cbd balm that I now used for my lower back as well. I also got gummed called lights out for sleep and they work better than sleep pills. Will be back! read more

A rip off. I was trying to quickly get a couple pre-rolls for an "emergency" so I asked the budtender what my options were. She told me they had a special on a 6 pack for $45, I thought that was a reasonable deal and accepted the suggestion. At checkout it came out to $57 with taxes, which is salty but expected, so all good this far. Until I swiped my card and she shows me a $62.95 total. I question that number and she tells me that's "A cash back fee", so I tell her I didn't ask for cash back, and she tells me "Oh sorry, that's just how it is." So I think whatever, not gonna fight over a few bucks, payed and left. Later on I check my bank statement an there's two charges from there, the $62.95 I payed and an extra $2 fee I was never warned about and never agreed to pay (looks like they charge the "Surprise Cash back Fee" a couple times). In summary, the $45 purchase ($57 with taxes) turned into a $65 one after two surprise fees. read more

First time stopping by, no idea what would work best for me. Damien greeted me at the door and began asking questions to get to know how I use and after more questions found a few strains for me.
