First the prices are very good plus la mesa taxes on weed are much smaller than San Diego! Second the staff is the nicest staff I have ever done business with since weed stores opened in San Diego. Excellent staff. Very courteous. read more

The guy at the coy ter was a lil rude si ce I asked him what samples they had as I used to be offered them. He said ...none. went there for a few years and I guess they didn't appreciate me being a customer. Bye read more

I have visited many local dispensaries (LaMesa) & every visit includes a greeting from staff! Always kind/helpful & joyful BUT I popped into The Reserve a few days ago after having dinner at The Hills next door I walked in & said hello to the only person at the desk (security guard) I made the statement that i haven't been here before & asked how long they had been opened The grumpy guard states "been here since October " Oh i say well i may have to return soon...."do you offer a discount for 1st timers"? Grumpy guard responds "Yeah every Dispensary offers that" Never offered any details never tried to do any kind of obvious customer service that should be offered especially since LM has many competitors!!! I will not return there are far too many other places to shop read more

Yes there is corporate weed...but they have strains no one else does. Plus it's right near Kearny Mesa. Love this shop!

Absolutely terrible experience. They act like they know what they doing but they don't know anything about the products they sell. Not even how a battery works. Don't go here unless u know exactly what ur looking for and the bud tender is just there for the transaction. Get ur first time deal and never come back read more

The lady in there helping out was really nice and super helpful. They had a great selection as well in my inexpensive price range. Will be back! Can't wait to get some loyalty credit going here. Thank you! read more

Just happened to be in the area so I stopped to check this place out. A quick ID scan and a signature and I was in. Small clean spot, nice and organized. There was a bunch of good weed so I was stoked. Only downside is they are cash only.. but....there is an ATM inside. If you are in the area check this place out!! read more

Had a less than great experience today, I have sympathy for the girl who was working alone bc I've been there, but a little extra explanation would've gone a long way. I started walking in because I didn't understand that the security guard wanted us to wait until multiple people had left to go in, and she told us kind of rudely 2 times to wait just because we were close to the door? and then asked us to sit down when we didn't understand why (it was because that was the only exit because the exit door that is usually open was blocked but we could not see that! If we had known we obviously would not have blocked the door) and it just didn't come across very well because we also thought she knew us because we come so often! Left a bad taste in my bf's mouth since he's been coming here for 5 years it was also my birthday and we didn't get the morning discount because of having to wait and 10 am passed which wasn't anyone's fault but just not the best start to the day and this honestly made us not want to come back If they want to avoid issues like this in the future I recommend a sign that says "line starts here" and hiring more people read more

New customer, just moved to the area wanted to grab something to help me relax and they didn't want to help me because they closed at 9pm. Since it was 11 minutes before closing they said they couldn't help me because they were about to close. I've never known a place to take more than a few minutes to add me to the system. I already knew what I wanted. They didn't even lose a customer, I didn't even get the chance to be a customer. read more

I have no connection to the owners or employees of this company. That being said, I'm surprised by the 3 star average review. I live MUCH closer to Wellgreens and Dr Greenthumb, but go out of my way to shop at The Reserve. Better parking/check-in setup, it's a bigger space, brighter/more light, helpful staff, revolving specials, etc... the "you can't directly touch the merchandise" thing others have mentioned is real, but that's not a big deal to me. You just ask for what you want and they grab it for you. read more

Service is excellent, so was the product! The staff was very helpful and answered all my questions like a professional!

closed early, came by at 850 and door was locked. weekly customer gone forever. lame.

My favorite dispensary! I've been going to The Reserve in La Mesa for a few years now. Their loyalty program is one of the best I've found in San Diego. On top of that, their staff, specifically Izzy, make every trip worth it. Izzy has great breadth and depth of knowledgeable and always helps me find the right product for every occasion. I'm always happy when I see she's working! I love the set up of the shop as well, a lot of products are displayed without being overwhelming. Parking in the back is super convenient. Cash only, so come prepared! But there is an ATM inside if necessary read more

Staff is great! Amazing customer service and nice selection on flower. My go to dispensary

It's free flowing inside - serve yourself/look around vibe. They have stiizy cartridges and some vegan edible options too. They also offer a first time 20% off deal. read more

As a Veteran and as a user of CBD I came here thinking it was a regular dispensary. As soon as I walked in, they stated it was medical cards only. Right after that statement, the security guard and the other attendant were quick to say, if you have $30 in cash and spend minimum 30$ you would be allowed to enter and buy something. You can use our ATM or go across the street to 7/11. So which was it? Medical only? Or Cash Only? Pretty SHADY if you ask me. Plus there was no parking, plus no one inside this place. I will definitely never recommend this place to anyone. read more

They were very friendly, patient and knowledgeable. Guess I'm not used to paying so much for flower from anywhere and their stuff is about the same price as most but from what we got the quality was very very good, clean and beautiful haha. Definitely a good spot. read more

Visited here today on a whim.. was looking for some beverages.. and a nice flavored pen. Was pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome I received by both The front end guy that checks the IDs.. and my sales associate, Lucie. Both did a superb job. Lucie was very knowledgeable about products, her cheerful, patient, and uplifting demeanor made me feel at home and appreciated as a customer. I would say this epitomizes quality customer service.. and I think a lot of businesses could learn from The quality staff at The Reserve. I feel I got a good value for my money. And I can't wait to come back sometime! Special props to Lucie. Thanks so much for the warm welcome. read more

Everything was amazing with this place until today. I put my order in before they opened like I usually do and have been for the last almost 2 years. No warning of the shop being closed and no answer on the phones all day. If you aren't open then shut down order service and update your hours. I drive a decent distance just for the reserve and it's crappy not being able to get what you order especially no communication. Super sad because this was my go to place. read more

Don't waste your time or money here they sell mec weed and won't tell you.I been coming here for a while however I was sold this really nasty preroll ..the told me it was $5 and was actually $7 when I seen the price tag.. Cody the manager on duty denied me an exchange for the schwag they sold me. read more

This is my number one dispensary I've been coming here for 3 years and it's been a great experience every time. I know the workers who have been there for years, and the new girl Brittany Is hard working, respectful as well. She very much deserves a tip for excellent service, and also she loves dogs so she was great to my doggy thanks for all the help guys. They also have the best cartridge deals around! read more

Place is clean, friendly staff, great selection easy in and out. Clean and safe to shop.

This place is awesome always friendly staff the one star rating goes to the new person who works there his name is Alexander very rude and unprofessional last 2 times I went as soon as I walked in he is rushing me and asking what did I want very rude and with an attitude very poor customer service everyone else has always been awesome but Alexander needs better training also seen him yelling at an elderly woman who was there before me and he shouted to her you need to wait your turn . read more

Would shop here when I could not find what I wanted over delivery. The staff and product were always an easy experience and high quality. I recommend. read more

So Weedmaps' new plan as part of California's continuing fight against black market weed is to stop listing unlicensed businesses. I don't know if it's working, but I definitely won't be using Weedmaps anymore. Anywho... I like this dispensary. I'm a veteran and medical patient so I do receive a small discount. The Reserves has a lot of options. It has prices to meet all budgets. There were 1/8s for $20....that's not bad at all. They seem to have a lot of promos going on. I will be returning soon. read more

We appreciated Alexis's kindness and help with choosing products to help our father with dementia related stress.

This place is my go to! Erik helped me out with a defective cart! Got a new one and some bomb weed. Thank you again, Erik and Rudy

This was one of the first places I visited when recreational became legal. They had some brands I liked from CO. The place has gone down, perhaps too much success. The last two times, they didn't have my favorite product. The last time I went in, I had to buy a 1/2 because they didn't have the smaller quantity. When I got home, I found out it was shake, not buds. Same brand on the package but we notice it's not the same as the bud. Getting the feeling that they are just trying to sell me any product even if it's not what I came in for. I found another dispensary. Don't think I will go back to The Reserve. read more

great shop. ive worked at a few shops in san diego and The Reserve is the only one i go back to. Theyre on point with product and prices, also never a line. all budtenders and employees are friendly and awesome. i cant give this shop 10 stars or i would, theyre that good! read more

Best dispensary in San Diego! The staff is super knowledgeable and friendly, there's always a huge amount of product available, they have different specials daily, and their rewards program is hands down the best around! Love the Reserve!! read more

I have never had a bad experience at The Reserve, I love the budtenders, the atmosphere is amazing. How everything is laid out is very unique and easy to follow and find everything. I wish I remembered names but EVERYONE at the la mesa location is WONDERFUL! read more

Sophisticated and easy to read website. Incredible choices, friendly folks, happy to help. Easy parking.

First time I went here I was scolded for picking up an item on a shelf so I could read it more thoroughly. Told myself I'd never go back due to the way I was scolded. Then returned a year or so later and WOW, what a difference. Still can't pick up stuff on the shelves, but the staff are great. Excellent customer service and product. Now it's my go-to dispensary. I also notice if a staff person is not that great; they end up no longer there. Thank you! read more

Don't come here, I recommend March and ash! Customer service is ok. Stood for about 10 mins with only 6 customers inside.

They are usually consistent, staff is mostly fine here i come through here when im in san diego. They have one of the easier parking lots.

Best bud best service best selection best prices best rewards just the best!!!!!!!!!!

First time buying anything like this. Have been using EMU 420 oil for years and they told me on the phone they had it but of course after getting there they didn't so talked me into a Transdermal Rub that was supposed to work the same way. I tried it for a few days and I would have gotten better results from Ben Gay or something else from the drug store for only a few bucks, not $75 with no guarantee and being told"it works differently on different people," That certainly helped my pain so live and learn or buyer beware. which ever makes you feel better. read more

This was my first time going to a dispensary, this isn't really my wheelhouse but my dad is in the late stages of Alzheimer's and he needs something to mellow him out. The guys behind the counter (sorry can't remember his name) took the time to explain all options and dosages. Ended up getting a couple bags of 10mg gummies based of his recommendation that were surprisingly affordable. Everyone was very friendly and the store was very clean and professional. Not at all like the head shops most of us grew up going to. So if you're in the market for Medicinal weed etc and are new to the dispensary world I would highly recommend the reserve. The knowledgeable and friendly staff will definitely have me going back. read more
