I was going to be in the area so I agreed to stop by The Grove for a friend. She asked if I'd pick up some gummies for her. I was happy to. I am completely uneducated in the world of cannabis products. My friend sent a text telling me what she wanted. I rolled up (pun intended) to the store and was greeted by a very pleasant security guard out front. I walked in and it was not at all crowded. I showed my ID to the young ladies behind the window and was buzzed in. I walked up to the very sweet girl behind the counter, explained my lack of knowledge and showed her the text. She grabbed a couple of items and showed them to me. I knew that the packaging was different than what my friend usually gets. She then suggested that she look up my friend's purchase history. THE WORST FIRST TIME EXPERIENCE & would never recommend for anyone else's first time. Employees are either too high to realize what items they're giving out to the customer OR don't care what you're leaving with. So if you decide to go, make sure you leave with the RIGHT PRODUCT. They were out of 1 item & was able to replace that one with a different strain but by the time I got home I realized the 2nd item was a total DIFFERENT ITEM THAN ORDERED. Called them before driving back and was asked who's name the order was under & explained it was my boyfriends.. they said there wouldn't be ANY ISSUES that I would just need to pay the difference. After receiving all the WRONG INFORMATION over the phone & drove back down there just for them to tell me they COULDNT GIVE ME A REFUND OR EXCHANGE because my boyfriend place the order under his name?? Been going here for 2 years. Don't be fooled, they are literally high on their own supply. I've worn my mask for 2 years, vaccinated, and complying with all covid guidelines. Today the mask mandate 2/15/2022 was lifted. I was told it doesnt matter put on the mask. I would assume, considering the mandate has been lifted I have the right to say no. Nope. I placed a pick up order on Weedmaps and when I come in to pay for my item they tell me that they don't have 2 out of the 4 items that I ordered. The white girl at the window was no help. She didn't offer me no deal. Maybe a cheap preroll. Nothing at all! I'm not asking for my whole order to be free and it's not like it's coming out of their pocket anyways. This is how y'all don't get people to come back. My first time here too and it's already off to a bad start. Not to mention I feel like I'm getting stared down by the security outside. This place has some days better than others. I've probably visited here 5 to 6 times total. They have have a fairly large selection of everything you could possibly be interested in. Everything is very well displayed and the employees will usually be able to answer it any questions you might have. The only downside is that some days the employees just dick around and take forever. There will be three to four of them in a small group laughing, talking about whatever, even though there's a line outside the door waiting to get in. If they are employees that just got off the clock or are about to start, maybe have them wait in a break room so it's less frustrating to be sitting in the lobby and seeing so many people doing nothing when you just want to pick up and be on your way. Also, every time I've been there's been the same guard and he has this tough guy facade the entire time. I've been to other dispensaries where the guards are very kind + polite and will chat it up with you.
