Cookie Inception Deep Dish Cookie and munchie madness ice cream

Honestly this place is so good the prices are reasonable and the cookies + ice cream are delicious! The guy on shift was very friendly and helpful in choosing my flavors.

When you're treating a bunch of college kids to dinner at Lou Malnati's across the street and they have a craving for dessert, stop by Cookie Spin for a tasty cap to the evening - this place is fun! They had all kinds of ice cream flavors and milkshakes, and of course cookies. My favorite was the Fat Elvis ice cream - peanut butter and banana with sprinkles. The portions are generous, the milkshakes and thick, and everything hit the spot. Highly recommended - give this place a try!

Cookie spin deep dish cookies are more reminiscent of a mini muffin. I would recommend microwaving the cookies if you are taking them home. They were a bit dry straight from the box. I would recommend the birthday cake and ghost cookies. The staff was very helpful in answering any questions, even when the shop was busy.

I thought this was just a bakery! I am so happy to find that this place also serves all kinds of ice cream too!! Cookie Spin is conveniently located in a great area of North Center at the southwest corner of Lincoln and Montrose, across from Welles Park. This is a great spot to take the kiddos for ice cream after activities in the park! I had some fudge/brownie based ice cream, the name is escaping me at the moment. It was creamy and delicious, I couldn't get enough of it. I'm also a sucker for waffle cones and they had those too! Service was fast and delivered with a smile. There is also outside seating so feel free to hang around and enjoy your tasty treat :)

We went to cookie spin for an evening dessert! It was yummy and the employees were nice. I found the menu a little overwhelming and the deep dish cookie sundae a bit overloaded. Otherwise this spot was great!

Cute lil pit stop on the way home from dinner. We wernt sure what to expect but it was worth the visit! Feedback is we did 2 cookie sundaes - one S and one L thinking they would be pretty small. The S is perfect for one person, or even two if you're not that hungry and the L was huge! In hindsight we should have split one L, even a S, but still no regrets. Lots of variety for customizing!

Got 2 small deep dish cookies: the maple bacon and the seasonal pumpkin pie. Contrary to the lower star ratings, my cookie/muffin hybrids were very fresh, moist, and flavorful. Perfect 2-bite size portions if you want to try multiple flavors (and there is A LOT to choose from). I don't understand the low reviews from people complaining about how these are more like "muffins." The menu makes the thiccccccness of these cookies pretty clear. My BF got the Bake Shake and he loved it. I will definitely come back to try their other stuff!

Ok so I always pass this place up going to work and finally had time and energy to stop in. When I walked in, it was as if I was expected to know what to do because the person behind the counter just stood there lol I told them it was my first time and they just said "let me know if you have any questions". Sooo yeah, there's that. So, I glance the menu and instantly knew I wanted cookie dough and some cookies to go. I was disappointed to learn that the cookies were not fresh. To be honest, I wouldn't even call those cookies. More like dried muffins . For $17 I was expecting warm and fresh but nah, definitely wasn't that. HOWEVER I say all that to say, 3 stars goes to the cookie dough and that alone is the reason ill be back. Maybe ill try ice cream next time but those cookies aint it. Yall gotta figure out a new recipe or something cause whoever said they good, lied.

We enjoyed this place although nothing stood out nor was it spectacular. The cookie did posses that "fresh out the oven" aspect & if ever in the area again I'd like to try the many shakes that were featured in their front window.

Ugh, I hate to leave bad reviews to small businesses but these were not good. We were so excited for these but they were absolutely inedible and DRY! They're like dense, dry muffins. Nothing like a cookie! Advertised as a "soft-batch Chicago style deep dish cookie" but it was a dry hockey puck. Not even sweet enough to be a cookie. Sorry. These are really, really bad.

An A-OK place to get your sweet-tooth craving satisfied. This place sells Wisconsin Chocolatte Shoppe ice cream, which was cool. The staff here were super nice and explained everything thoroughly. Grab your sweet concoction with either a cookie, or mix it all up into a shake. You can't lose. The shop is somewhat small and seats no more than 20 people, but you can also sit outside. I went with some peanut butter chocolate in a cup and it was pretty good.

    Soy ice cream flavors YAY!!!

This place is pretty bad. Nothing unique, and the cookies are not great. Too pricey for too poor.

This place has too much hype. One of the worst cookies I've ever had. Tasteless and dry. Waste of a trip. :)

It's located opposite of the cash register and menu. Service was friendly. Washroom (restroom, bathroom search terms) available. Decent amount of seating, serving as a solid space to study or get work done. Black Sesame Matcha Latte - while the black sesame graininess settled at the bottom expectedly, the matcha was clearly whisked well. There were no clumps of bitterness to be found. Despite sugar adjustments, this was still very sweet so I'd classify the spot as more desserty rather than strong matcha or a cafe. Though I'm happy to be proven wrong with their regular matcha in the future.

I wish I was able to travel with one of their cheesecakes but they require refrigeration. Anyhow the cheesecake itself was delicious super light, fluffy, and honestly felt like biting into a cloud. I had the salted egg but they had several flavor options that I would've loved to try if slices were available. The texture is what really stands out, and the flavor was unique and interesting in a good way. I couldn't quite put my finger on what it taste like, but it was sweet, but not too sweet They only sale but I consider a personal size but it's definitely enough to share with two people, maybe even three depending on how much of a sweet tooth you have. My only downside like others is the price. Paying around $19-$20 for a small cheesecake felt a bit steep, especially since they don't offer slices. I really wish they had smaller portions available so you could try different flavors without committing to a full cake prize. They package it very well and they also serve you a cute little fork set and a knife for cutting which I think is contributes to the price. The shop itself is very cute with chic décor and a lot of Asian-inspired artwork, which adds to the overall vibe. Customer service was friendly. When I visit Chicago again I'd definitely go back the texture and taste alone make it worth it but I do hope they consider offering smaller portions in the future.

The taiwanese style popcorn chicken and pork cutlet were super juicy and tender with nicely crisp breading. Finally, the broth of the Sichuan noodles was packing with flavor: sweet, tangy, spicy, umami - truly hit all the spots without being too numbing to your mouth, if thats one of your concerns Would definitely return to try the other menu items, especially their hot sizzling plates and their dessert/drink offerings

Are you guys ready for this review??…read more So my partner decided we are going to china town for lunch with his mom and sister. Family day in the city, DURING A SNOWSTORM!! We arrive, place is closed, will open in 10 mins. Perfect, we go to a near by shop and I spot some demon hunter Stanley cups!! I get them of course! We head to lunch, everything is great! As we are heading out, my partners sister spots Te'amo! I ask if she's ever had mochi donuts. She hasn't, so of course we must stop in because everyone needs to try them at least once!!! We order at the kiask and patiently wait for our order. We get our order and leave....leaving the bag with the Stanley's behind!!! We don't realize this until we are home (45 mins away)! I immediately call, no answer, call again, no answer. I decide to DM their instagram page and guess what??? THEY HAD THE CUPS!!! Here I was thinking $150 in cups were gone. But they had them!!! A miracle!! 10/10 stars!! Anyway! I highly recommend the brûlée ube milk tea and the ube mochi donuts!!
