    The waffle box

Instagram brought us here for a very sugary and rich after school treat for my tween and teen. Tip-Do not go here if in a hurry. It is by no means fast and we waited a good 15-20 minutes for our order. Drip shares a space with a fast food falafel place and has replaced the papa beards that used to be there. Not the cutest atmosphere but the desserts are instagram worthy and did not disappoint. My daughter ordered a cup of chocolate covered strawberries and my son ordered one of their dessert waffles which could easily have been shared by 4 people . They loved it ( what's not to love ?) I'd recommend this place for the occasional splurge or special occasion

Cappuccino cheesecake with dark chocolate dip, Oreo ice cream, and brownie bits

So I got cappuccino cheesecake with dark chocolate dip, Oreo ice cream, and brownie bits. It was good! I think the concept is nearly there but not quite. What didn't work for me was the dip. It was fine in theory, but became really hard to eat with a fork. The taste was uneven. I would much prefer a frozen dipped cheesecake similar to what Eli's does at taste of Chicago. The person working behind the counter was excellent and really took time and care to prepare the dish. It was also quick for me as I got my food within 5 minutes. The ice cream was also unexpected but not mind blowing. I think the quality of ingredients and the construction could be improved but this place is definitely worth stopping by!

Drip is located in a food court. When we walked up to order there were three workers but none asked how they can take our order. Once we were finally helped the person freshly chopped our strawberries and poured both the milk and dark chocolate we asked for. The dark chocolate had no flavor but the milk chocolate did make up for it. For the price and the flavor I'm unsure if I would go back.

I went to Drip for my first time last night and it was really good. I ordered the milk chocolate strawberries and the waffle bites with strawberry ice cream and m&ms. I will say it took quite some time for our food to come out but my boyfriend and I both agreed, it was worth it for sure. It shares a dining section with another food spot which was a little different but caused no issue whatsoever. If you are a dessert fan, I definitely recommend Drip!

This place was a dream! We talked about it and dreamed about the waffle even the next morning. They're open late and even with a line we were able to get our food within about 20 minutes or less. Everything came out incredibly, despite being busy! That's a great sign of a restaurant, if they're busy and still turn out great looking food. I'd come back here again and again!

This place kept popping up on Instagram, so I had to check it out. Place was OK, we had the dripped strawberries and the the sundae with two options. A good number of my strawberries were hard, so that was disappointing. I didn't say anything because I didn't want to come across as a bad customer. The place was clean and the staff was very friendly. I would tey it again.

I am not a sweets person at all but this place was great. Perfect for a post date night dessert spot. Highly recommend visit this place if you love sweets.

This place is AMAZING. Had dinner down the street with no good dessert options - what to do? Google! Came to Drip, ordered High on Hazelnut - sat down worried that I hadn't ordered something with ice cream in it. (I didn't even want ice cream before!) I actually started to write this review before I have finished... THIS PLACE IS A MUST.

Listen to your mom: Your Eyes Are Bigger Than Your Belly!! I'm a dessert fanatic, so this place looked so intriguing and fun! Please split if you're going with a friend; I was stubborn and wanted my own. These are huge and worth the price if you share. The waffle is better than normal waffles. How? Not sure. It wasn't too heavy on the sugar and it was super fluffy. It held up the ice cream well and tasted nostalgic. You can choose three toppings and one dip - the options are limitless. The waffle wizards working were wonderful. It was nice to ask advice and not feel rushed because it was overwhelming at first! Enjoy a decadent and enjoyable experience - but don't be a hero and try to eat one by yourself.

I had 30 mins left on my parking so I decided to go to a nearby dessert place for some ice cream. I had to add 10 more minutes to my parking... There was only three people working. No hustling. Just putting the stuff together at a calm pace. It took a few mins for someone to come and take my order, and it took about 15-20 mins before we got one of the three items we ordered. There was a whole group waiting for their shakes before us too. And I assume some customers were dining in and waiting for their desserts as well. It was like one guy worked on the to-go orders and the other two worked on the dine-in orders. The ice creams and shake were delicious though. I'll give them that. The waffle was freshly made so that's nice. We got our things to-go and it was put into cardboard boxes with a liner at the bottom. This wasn't ideal when the ice cream was melting and dripping out of the box. The shake, while delicious, was very small for something that costs $10 before tax. So if you want to make your money worth it, don't get the shakes. Drip just has a little section at the front to make their food. I think the main shop sells falafels since the decor is all about the falafels. Or it's just a shared space for the both of them. I'm not entirely sure.

YOU NEED DESSERT AND YOU NEED IT FROM DRIP!! I cannot stop raving about how beautiful and delicious the desserts were. Zaighm (Z for short), is a lovely, friendly and creative dessert ARTIST! I got the DRIP Special, and my boyfriend got a create your own with churros (fried right there)--vanilla ice cream, Biscoff drizzle, whipped cream, and Oreo and Biscoff cookie pieces. I tell you, this place is your next dessert spot! DRIP is our future MUST GO TO spot, hands down! The DRIP Special was made of a very large, freshly cooked waffle, vanilla ice cream, Nutella drizzle, and Ferrero Rocher pieces. Out. Of. This. World. To top it all off--Z let us try a possible new menu item! I didn't know my evening could get any better, but then he brought out his Blizzard-like ice cream dessert made with Biscoff cookies, soft serve, and Biscoff drizzle! Thank you, Z!

If you're looking for your sweet tooth to be satisfied, this is your place! My friend and I split a BYO waffle and thought it was so delicious. The waffle was perfectly crispy and the presentation was gorgeous. Personally I don't think it's something someone can eat solo so it's great to share with friends. It was about $16 but I thought that was a decent price.

A cute place with other food options too. Of course, we came in for the dessert options and we were happy with our waffle bites and coffee milkshake. On top of that we also had hot black coffee to balance out the sweetness and warm us back up. The service was quick and with a smile. I'll be back when I'm in the neighborhood again.

The chocolate cake wasn't spectacular - small and same quality as Jewel Osco bakery cakes, and it's completely overpriced for what it was.

I couldn't quite put my finger on what it taste like, but it was sweet, but not too sweet They only sale but I consider a personal size but it's definitely enough to share with two people, maybe even three depending on how much of a sweet tooth you have. My only downside like others is the price. Paying around $19-$20 for a small cheesecake felt a bit steep, especially since they don't offer slices. I really wish they had smaller portions available so you could try different flavors without committing to a full cake prize. They package it very well and they also serve you a cute little fork set and a knife for cutting which I think is contributes to the price. The shop itself is very cute with chic décor and a lot of Asian-inspired artwork, which adds to the overall vibe. Customer service was friendly. When I visit Chicago again I'd definitely go back the texture and taste alone make it worth it but I do hope they consider offering smaller portions in the future.
