If I'm on the go and looking for a quick snack that's my go to. Service: Short wait time for food and relatively inexpensive. Customer service can be hit or miss but for the most part not bad. I replied , "Yes ". They cooked me 1 onion ring. The taste of the food wasn't special. I added additional mustard to the burger. 12/24 1:00pm before leaving restaurant heading to womens restroom and I fell in floor due to a large water spill on the floor. No caution sign was out. I landed on my left side with the majority of impact on my hip and left elbow and shoulder. Workers asked if ok and wanted ambulance. I gathered myself and went into restroom. I've came here twice and everything was okay, but tonight the service was horrible. I didn't get a receipt so I'm not able to verify but the workers got my order wrong then started loudly complaining about it and made sure I could hear them when I asked for it to be corrected. First time visiting a cook out after hearing about it from friends for a while. We stumbled upon it as we were charging the car at a nearby Tesla super charger. I was shocked by the prices and how can they sell food for almost no money! They have so many options of delicious in-store milkshakes that you can customize and come out fast. We had some chicken quesadillas and snacks along with milkshakes for two for under 10 dollars. It was fast food and i would not say it was 'gourmet' but for a quick meal on the cheap it was a great option. Let me start off by saying that I understand being overwhelmed and short staffed! BUT.. that doesn't give workers a free pass to be rude. I ordered and drove around and the workers had stacks of orders that they had to go through and ask which was ours (none of them were) so a lady asked what we ordered and we told her and she rolled her eyes and said "just close the window" to another lady. The restaurant had signs out warning people to be careful due to "wet floors" but the floors were dry. They were however covered in grease which made them exceptionally slippery. I ate in the restaurant with my grandmother and aunt. We all slipped trying to get to our table and then slipped trying to walk in the bathroom which seemed to have even more grease on the floor. My grandmother uses a cane to walk because of her Parkinson's and her cane was slipping on all directions on the floor because of the grease layer throughout the restaurant. I had to help her walk to the front door, with her cane, to make sure she didn't slip and fall while trying to leave the restaurant. Putting signs up warning customers to not "slip due to wet floors" is not an acceptable alternative to cleaning the floors with soap or cleaning products that break down grease. The lack of clean floors is a huge liability and this restaurant can be sued if, and when, someone slips and falls. read more

I don't have the patience nor the mental capacity in my personal life to deal with grown adults in their 40s with the most horrible customer service at this specific location it's one particular black women who works there at nights who has the worst attitude whenever something is messed up she acts as if it's coming out of her personal paycheck if something got mixed or messed up I have had so many run ins with her i stopped going all together to cookout because they still have her working with the nastiest attitude on something that honestly doesn't affect her in any shape or form. I know at this location you have to articulate when you order but they still can't get it right no matter how loud, slow you say it you can expect the dirtiest look the nastiest attitude for something as easy as yeah I gotcha let me swap it and move on.. oh no not the black Karen she's got to say some sort of snooty comment to you and to your face.. it's made me stop going it's obvious there not doing anything about this horrible "one" employee so I refuse to go at all. Was travelling to GA when I stopped off on the highway for some eats. This was the place that caught my eye, so I stopped in (the drive-thru) for some grub. It was hot and fresh, so instead of getting back on the road to drive and eat, which is extremely dangerous and I would NEVER do it....I pulled into their parking lot and ate. When I tell you this, I tell you no lies. My food went so fast, I almost questioned if it was in the bag initially or not. Me licking my fingers, and my kids looking at me like I was a starved dog eating my first meal, made me realize it was, and I was just a bit greedy. I figured I'd get a quality burger given the name of the restaurant but was let down when I realized it was a frozen patty burger at a restaurant called Cook Out. There was more onion than burger on the Big Double I had along with onion rings, rounds, and a banana shake. The shake was so thick that my cheeks got tired from trying to suck the shake through the straw I took to go. Me and my mom came here after she got off work and I after church. It has been awhile since we last ate so we came here especially when its very close by. The night before this one, we asked for 2 cheese quesadilla plates with cheese bites, and hush puppies. We only got the quesadillas. Tonight! We were ordering and Janaya, the cashier, was passive aggressive and extremely rude. She had an attitude the entire time we were ordering. She also slammed the drive thru window shut when we tried to tell her thank you. Lastly, they almost forgot our cheese bites tonight when we went to order, and when we went to tell Ms. Janaya, she rolled her eyes and made absolutely no interaction while she waited to give us our cheese bites that she most likely messed up since she was giving out food. The food is some of the best drive thru food in my opinion, especially at almost 2am. BUT the staff is pretty bad and this particular location has some issues. This is my 3rd visit to this location and each time it has taken over 20 minutes and they will not give me an itemized receipt even when I requested one at the window picking up the meal. I always order the same thing at this location and the other location in Augusta. At this location two trays costs $11.75 when it should total $10.78, which is what I'm charged at the other location. My final issue with this location is the consistent fry failures. Probably the best option for fast food in the area! They have a lot to offer on their menu with extremely affordable prices, especially by getting the cookout tray which comes to total of 5 dollars! You get a choice of an entree, two sides, and a drink. I keep coming back here for the hush puppies. They are so simple and DELICIOUS! I've heard their milkshakes are a great additive but you get overwhelmed by all the flavor options on the menu. Best part is that you fly through the drive thru in minutes, but I could see how it could be hard to order here if it was your first time because they try to rush you through. Anytime I crave a milkshake, which lately has been almost every day, Cook Out is always my go to so that I can satisfy my cravings. Apart from the milkshakes, I love ordering their chicken quesadillas and their cheddar cheese bites. I always stick to the same 4 or 5 food items and they have always been consistent with flavor and portions. Aside from long wait times and unfriendly staff, I haven't had any issues when it comes to the quality of my food.
