Cookout located on Jimmy-Dyess pkwy. Food: fast food for long days, I enjoy the double cheeseburger with grilled onions, pickles, mustard and mayo. If I'm on the go and looking for a quick snack that's my go to. Service: Short wait time for food and relatively inexpensive. Customer service can be hit or miss but for the most part not bad. Ambiance: Dining area is a little dim nevertheless orderly and clean.

Burger with mustard and pickles, double onion rings, Fanta orange

Ordered take out burger with mustard and pickles, double onion rings, Fanta orange soda. I usually don't need ice but ice was needed because the soda came out of the machine warm. I questioned the amount of onion rings because it didn't look like a double order. The cashier said I should have 8 onion rings for a doub. I counted 7. Cashier asked if I wanted another onion ring. I replied , "Yes ". They cooked me 1 onion ring. The taste of the food wasn't special. I added additional mustard to the burger. The onion rings were hard for my preference, except the "1" onion ring. The cashier who took my order was patient. I don't eat at Cookout often so I needed a little time to explore the menu.

First time visiting a cook out after hearing about it from friends for a while. We stumbled upon it as we were charging the car at a nearby Tesla super charger. I was shocked by the prices and how can they sell food for almost no money! They have so many options of delicious in-store milkshakes that you can customize and come out fast. We had some chicken quesadillas and snacks along with milkshakes for two for under 10 dollars. It was fast food and i would not say it was 'gourmet' but for a quick meal on the cheap it was a great option. I still cannot get over the milkshakes and with there was one near me to go more often!

Was travelling to GA when I stopped off on the highway for some eats. This was the place that caught my eye, so I stopped in (the drive-thru) for some grub. It was hot and fresh, so instead of getting back on the road to drive and eat, which is extremely dangerous and I would NEVER do it....I pulled into their parking lot and ate. When I tell you this, I tell you no lies. My food went so fast, I almost questioned if it was in the bag initially or not. Me licking my fingers, and my kids looking at me like I was a starved dog eating my first meal, made me realize it was, and I was just a bit greedy. I am not sure if I would ever remember this stop again I the next trip to GA, but I can tell you this, this was probably the best I had been too. It was nap time after that, but unfortunately, I had to drive a few more hours.....blah!

I was traveling and found this restaurant near my hotel, along with several other burger restaurants. I figured I'd get a quality burger given the name of the restaurant but was let down when I realized it was a frozen patty burger at a restaurant called Cook Out. There was more onion than burger on the Big Double I had along with onion rings, rounds, and a banana shake. The shake was so thick that my cheeks got tired from trying to suck the shake through the straw I took to go. Given other options like McDonalds and Steak n Shake, I'd consider going elsewhere given the price and quality of food.

The many times I came here they either burn the food or get the order wrong. However, yesterday it was alot better and the service was the same excellent, warm, friendly. Me and my mom came here after she got off work and I after church. It has been awhile since we last ate so we came here especially when its very close by. We ordered hamburgers and both sides of french fries and it was delicious the best. Keep up the great work.

Big double tray. Why are there only 7 fries?!?

Dunno why they don't melt their cheese when they do the bacon wrap/chicken. Compared to the other cookouts down south this one is kinda meh.

Good and cheap. BBQ melts in your mouth and I prefer it without the sauce. If there was a half dollar symbol. ..

First disappointment was that the frozen custard machine was still out of order. Secondly, the made to order burgers were most likely pre made and rather skimpy. I ate more Bread than meat. It was difficult to swallow. The fries, which were previously cut and prepared on site looked and tasted bland. Where were the bags of potatoes that were piled up before? I had onion rings. Heavily coated and also bland. Once I reached the onion, it was sweet. Service was awesome. The tables and restrooms were clean. At least 2 people came to ask about our comfort. Before we go again , I would like to hear that the burgers are back to an eatable size and the custard machine is fixed. Until then, thumbs down for this venue.

Farmhaus Burger in downtown Augusta delivered one of those quietly satisfying Saturday night…read moreexperiences where the neighborhood feels packed to the edges but the restaurant itself gives you room to breathe. Parking was its usual Broad Street challenge, yet once inside there was plenty of space and an easygoing rhythm to the dining room. The only real hiccup was the slightly counterintuitive flow of things, since you order first and then find a seat, and I wasn't the only one who walked in and paused awkwardly until someone pointed out the process. I've said for a while that you should stick to what a place is named for, because ordering chicken wings at a pizza shop or a barbecue joint has burned me more than once, but tonight I ignored that rule and it turned out to be the right call. Mrs. K took down my side of fries with enthusiasm while I focused on the wings, meaty and generously sauced, the kind you finish without a second thought and then sit back with a local beer feeling like you made exactly the right choice. Every single one was worth it, no regrets at all, a small delight tucked inside a busy Augusta evening. I did see two of those massively stacked burgers get delivered to another table and while I was a little jealous, I know that having it without the bun wouldn't have honored it the way it should be. Maybe when I'm not on keto. [Review 228 of 2026 - 928 in Georgia - 25417 overall]

The service was absolutely top-notch, the food was excellent, and the ambiance was certainly very mellow. Our server, Cassandra, was very friendly and knowledgeable. She took the time to explain the menu and made some great recommendations. Their menu is a southern American fusion for sure, putting unique spins on classic dishes. Here's what we had: Drinks: -Bottle of: Vitiani rosso Appetizer: -Charcuterie board (a la carte): -Bresaola (pork) -The drunken goat (Spanish cheese) -The red dragon cheddar cheese -Bacon Jam Dinner: -Pork loin chop -Confit duck pot pie -Beet carpaccio Salad The charcuterie board was very unique and delicious. Afterwards, my lady, and I split the beet salad, her dad had the pork loin, and her mom had the pot pie. Everything was absolutely delicious. After we finished, I met the owners, and told them how much we truly enjoyed it all. They were very appreciative of my compliments. We would certainly stop by here again.

The restaurant is unique on the inside and gives a somewhat hole-in-the-wall bar vibe (but cleaner). During the day time, I would say it is family friendly, but at night it can definitely get rowdier so go at your own risk, it is called Whiskey Bar after all. The burgers are very good and are cooked very well with lots of options for customization. I always go for the classic WB(K) burger with Swiss cheese and pickles. The waffle fries are always so crisp and yummy. The same goes for the potstickers as an appetizer. Even their other burger combos that seem strange are actually pretty good if you are into that type of burger. The service is always pretty good. Friendly staff that was quick. Not a long wait on a Tuesday night, but have definitely waited before on a Friday or Saturday. They have a first come, first serve bar as well. The tables can be somewhat cramped depending on where you are sat and it is definitely not an accessible place as the entrance is crammed and all the tables are high tops on the inside, the outside is better with low top tables and benches. The Diet Coke was okay. A little syrupy so their ratio on the fountain soda machine must be a little off. Still good, but I have had better. Overall, one of the best burger restaurants in Augusta and most stop place in the area!
