Absolutely a lifesaver. I hired the Content Critter about 5 years ago after a really bad experience with a local doggy daycare (Camp Bow Wow). I work a full time job with about a 1 - 1.5 hour commute added to both ends of the day. So it was really important that I found someone to watch my basset hounds, Jilly and Dudley. Claudia was so friendly and reassuring when I first met her for the introduction. It was obvious to see that she really loves what she does and that the dogs would be in great hands. It's hard to feel comfortable about having someone in your home whom you do not know and when you are not there. So, I was a bit apprehensive. Yes, I read the reviews (all wonderful) and even called a reference (wonderful as well). I needn't have worried. Claudia and her entire staff (Wendy is the best!!!) treat my "kids" as their own. They have wonderful play times in the back yard, short walks (my bassets refuse to walk more than a few houses), lots of fresh water and treats. I arrive home to a summary of the time spent with my kids. The staff at the Content Critter is completely trustworthy and very reliable. And kind. I never used this business however, while driving my newborn to her first doctors appointment at Christiana hospital today, a woman driving a green Kia with temp tags & a Content Critter pet sign on her car was riding my ass down route 4. She was cutting people off, speeding and driving carelessly. Idk if this is the owner or what but you probably should drive like a complete dick with your company logo on your car. I drive a large pickup truck and normally I would have brake checked someone riding so aggressively close to me but with a 2 week baby in the vehicle I wasn't going to do it. Had a break checked her, 110% would have rammed into the back of me. Saw another vehicle flip her off as well. Simply can't believe the reckless driving.
