Any reputable business would eat their mistake and charge the customer the lower price. Our dog also got an ear infection from the last time she had a bath here, with a vet bill to prove it. Bark Avenue retains customers and staff 2. They recognized Ike (after a 3 year absence) and welcomed him back with great warmth and enthusiasm. 3. Their hours are much more convenient 4. When Ike is bathed or gets his nails trimmed, the work is noticeable. 4. Best of all the owner and staff seem to genuinely enjoy the dogs! Bark Avenue is not fancy at all. But we trust them implicitly to care for our "best friend."

In addition to his size and strength, Zippy is extremely reactive, thus very difficult to control, when he encounters other dogs during walks. I advertised for dog walkers on Nextdoor and received a few responses from kids and other dog lovers. When Jack Feldmann the owner of Your Pet's Best Friend reached out to me, it was immediately apparent that he is a professional -- the real deal. He and his associate, Kevin Wilson, were totally unfazed by Zippy's size and potential for problems. Both developed great relationships with our monster dog and managed him beautifully. After…read morebeing disappointed with four groomers and giving them second chances with little change, I kept searching, reading reviews, and checking social media without success. However, one day, I passed a yard sign for PUPS & PURRS, pulled over, and spoke to the owner, Wendy, who invited me to bring my pups without an appointment and answered my questions. I was instantly impressed; she wasn't trying to sell herself, and I thought, 'This may be the one.' My intuition was correct after making an appointment. I stayed in a designated prep room for pet parents, with divided sections; each had see-through windows where they were groomed. The second room was for puppies to play while waiting to be groomed, and another gated area for pets needing solitude before or after grooming. Wendy, the groomer, charged less than previous groomers at a teaching vet hospital and others working at well-known pet stores in DE.
