We used Camp Bow Wow for 5 years. Yesterday, my dog was kicked out for humping. Though somewhat embarrassing, I think everyone should know that this can happen to ANYONE, and there are a few things you should know before taking your pet to CBW. tl;dr: constant price increases, no client loyalty, aggressive communication, unreliable weekend coverage, inflexible First: every 1-2 months, we received an email about price increases. Please know that whatever price you start with at CBW, it WILL increase periodically. Currently, they're the most expensive option in the area for boarding, daycare, and all grooming services. And as I'll note, the price is not worth it for the return. Highly recommend Hannah's House or other local options (plus, you'll be supporting famiy-owned as opposed to a chain!) Second: chances are, as a CBW client, you will be turned away at the door at some point. They are always changing their reservation rules/dates for weekends/holidays/summer time, which makes it very difficult to plan ahead. And if you need coverage last minute, good luck. We were turned away on at least 3 Saturdays in our time with CBW, and each time were left scrambling to find coverage. If you're interested in them for the weekend day-care hours, know that the reservations must be made FAR in advance- I would recommend boarding over the weekend with a local spot instead (and it'll still be cheaper that way.) Third: they are not loyal to long-term clients. When I was first contacted about my pup's sexual promiscuity, I received a very angry voicemail from the manager with the stark warning, "one more time, and he's out." Humping was never an issue for my pup in the 4 previous years of being clients. Needless to say, after having enjoyed our time at CBW to that point, I was shocked at the aggressive nature of the warning and how quickly they were willing to turn him out. Fourth: though my pup was currently working with a CBW trainer on leash manners, CBW refused to allow her into the yard with my pup to try to intervene in his newly developed habit of humping on the grounds that it was "unsafe"- mind you, she is THEIR trainer. If your pup begins to have a problem with humping or any other sort of disruptive habit, (which can develop completely out of the blue, as we learned!) their only solution is to take the dog out of the yard for a few minutes. If that does not work, they will not offer any other solutions beyond dismissal. We were happy CBW clients for years before these developments: sent them a Christmas card every year, knew many of the staff by name, hired a CBW trainer, participated in CBW events/promotions. To be so quickly and unceremoniously dismissed, without any willingness to try to work the problem through alternative solutions, revealed to us that CBW has no client loyalty, even when we were willing to overlook the issues with weekend reservations/constant price increases. I would highly recommend trying Hannah's House or another local business instead, we have been very happy with their service, prices, and reliability. read more

I had no expectations when I took my pup for a full grooming at Camp Bow Wow but I am 100% impressed. All I knew was I wanted my pup to get a summer cut since her fur has gotten so long and the weather is getting significantly hot. The process to get your dog groomed at Camp Bow Wow is very simple. You'd need to call in to make an appointment, send your dog's vaccinations records, sign a waiver form and fill out a check-in form. I sent them the waiver and check-in form through email with a picture of the style that I wanted for my pup. The groomer did an amazing job and my pup looks exactly like the inspo picture. Just by looking at the pictures, you can tell that my pup is happy with her new haircut! read more

We took our 1.5 yr old American Bully Koko here on the recommendation of a friend for vacation boarding, camp, and grooming services. We fell in love with the place - facility is clean, staff are friendly, and the various services offered is great. Prior to that day, I explained our dog had NOT been around other dogs in the capacity they offer (up to 25 dogs in a yard). We were assured that they are experts and they know how to handle dogs like ours. On the first day (Saturday), they took our dog's pic, acclimated us to the facility and told us to go enjoy our errands. Great! Our dog was overly excited and would not settle down - not in an aggressive way (their words) and when we watched on camera, we saw that she just wanted to play and was excited to be in "doggie heaven"! At the end of that appt, they advised us to bring her in on Monday (Day 2) for another camp evaluation. We did and at the end of THAT day, she received her camper card and we were told she would be introduced as a new camper on their Facebook page. We also pre-paid for their 6-wk training behavior program. At the end of that day our dog was extremely tired and had walked her paws raw. We chalked it up as her having a great time. We did not take her back until Wednesday morning. When I dropped her off for camp at 7:30 am, I asked that they take her out of population and give her some "down time" to rest and recoup. By 12 pm, Clair left a message saying that Koko had gotten into an altercation "not in an aggressive way". She said that Koko just wanted to play and then the other dog "snapped" so they sprayed Koko with a hose and took her out of the yard (their words!). She went on to say that she "talked to her co-workers" and they decided that "Wednesday would be Koko's last day of daycare camp." When I spoke to Clair immediately after the call, she regurgitated the voice mail and said they had Koko in a kennel and we needed to pick her up. She also said we needed to find another daycare and gave us 3 recommendations. Here is my reason for the 2 stars: PROS: Clean facility and the concept is awesome! CONS: (1) They are considered "experts" in dog behavior and I believe the situation with Koko could have been handled differently. THEY said she was not aggressive, yet MY DOG was hosed and kenneled! I advised that morning that the full yard was over-stimulating for Koko and that she would need breaks that day. (2) We pre-paid for training classes - why not recommend we bring her back after their training classes are complete - not just kick her out completely and say "Don't come back"! (3) I then spoke with Marie, who only regurgitated what Clair said. At that point, I asked for a complete REFUND of my pre-paid training class, which they were willing to take even though they kicked my dog out. They DID give back the 6 wks training without issue. Never received any follow up from the owner. (4) They NEVER posted Koko on their Facebook page, as if there were never an intention to have her at their facility anyway, even though we saw dogs that came in AFTER Koko posted RIGHT AWAY! (5) I never saw ANYONE playing with the dogs in the full yards - just walking around with spray bottles. I just feel the entire situation was handled unprofessionally for "experts in dog behavior". It's disappointing and feels discriminatory towards this breed of dog. read more

First, I don't often leave reviews for small businesses because I like to give them the benefit of the doubt, and work things out in private. Most of the time that leads to better outcomes. I've been using Camp Bow Wow for many years and have generally been happy with their services-- classes, daycare, boarding, grooming, and petsitting. I've used petsitting the most, and training the second most. Honestly, if you're looking for puppy/dog training, just take them to the Academy of Dog Training and Agility in Newark-- the instructors are much more knowledgeable. However, the issue that merits a one-star review happened this weekend. I left my two senior puppy mill rescues at home while we were on vacation. Naomi was scheduled to come in once at night to let the dogs out while friends took care of them during the day. One night, Naomi forgot to put them back in their crates before she left. Because these dogs are from puppy mills, they have some behavior issues, and crating is very important. Both dogs have ingested materials they shouldn't have in the past leading to vet visits. When under stress, they will defecate and urinate in the house if not crated. My friend who was helping with morning care discovered my dogs uncrated, urine and feces all over my house (there was a bad thunderstorm that night), and food bags open and eaten from. One of my dogs stopped eating after this happened. We left our vacation early and drove 20 hours straight home to see our dogs to evaluate whether they needed vet care. So far, they don't, but one dog still isn't eating. Nicole was initially nice about replacing the filthy area rugs, but Laurie, the owner, doesn't want to pay the to replace the rugs that were destroyed. I didn't ask for all three area rugs and pads that were soiled to be replaced, only the one in the living room that had the most urine and feces all over it. I paid $500 for the rug and pad. I'm asking for $523 from Camp Bow Wow-- $23 for the night the sitter left my dogs out of their crates. They would have been better off without her coming. Laurie has offered $350, which means I'm out $150 for the main rug, any vet bills we incur, $100 for the smaller rug that can't be cleaned, and several hours of cleaning for the other large rug that was soiled. I can't trust this place anymore, and I've spend thousands there over the years. It's sad, because this could easily be made right if Laurie cared. The fact that she doesn't gives me grave reservations about using any of their services again. read more

I have been a customer for over five years and Friday was may last day after a horrible experience with the manager Olivia and owner who didn't seem to care about the verbal disrespect and refusal to speak with another manager by the store owner Laurie. I explained I a credit for 8 half days package. No one told me I was unable to use two half days for a full and she demanded I paid $34 even though I had account credit for almost $200. She refused to allow me to speak with someone who could make the correction in the system and gargled with me about her position and she wasn't calling anyone. The owner never apologized on behalf of her staff and the manager made faces at me when she was told to give the dog. very immature! horrible customer service from management. The staff was much nicer than the management and never gave a report about the dog. read more

We were initially happy to find Camp Bow Wow but after we bordered our dog for the first time for 5 days we saw some disturbing things happen to our 7 month old pet. After we picked up our dog we noticed a crust on his nose and a deep scar, it looked like another animal had injured him. Our pup was also hungry as if he had not been feed while in their care. We get that you have a lot of dogs but when pet owners complain it seems the pets are punished. ( not okay at all). We also saw video of more that 10 or 15 animals in ONE kennel area with one caregiver. We are paying for our pet to be cared for not abuse. We should be able to voice concerns without our pet being injured and not told when they are. We will find other pet care in our new state and warn to find a pet care that like a your animal even when you voice concern. read more

I was very disappointed in this camp. The WORST in the area. Owner is very rude and front desk is awful. My dog stayed with them overnight and got injured really bad. He had to have multiple hospital visits. The owner was very hard to cooperate with and I will not be using them ever again. I don't know how they are still in business. read more

So far, I have only utilized the grooming services at camp bow wow, but it has been such a wonderful experience ! Bella is a cavapoo, and her hair grows so fast and it's a challenge to get the cut just right. She has had two grooming experiences at camp and both have been spectacular. Michelle kept in touch with me, making sure the grooming style was what I wanted. She was sure to tell me how much love my girl was getting during her stay at camp for the services. My dog came home traumatized from his stay there, less trusting of us, and more territorial. Very dissatisfied and disappointed.

I started taking my dog here right as covid restrictions lifted. They at first, were very patient and sweet with my dog who was just getting socialized with people and other dogs. However, I had a weird feeling one day while he was there and he was supposed to spend the night, so I checked the cameras. My dog was mounting others (typical male puppy dog behavior, they usually use spray bottles to correct this). I started to screen record because the one worker was acting very aggressively towards my dog and others. I then watched her SMACK him off the other dog, stand over him and scream in his face. She smacked his bum and screamed at him. My sweet boy looked terrified. I instantly called, told them they needed to move my dog to another play yard away from this worker, and that someone was coming to pick him up for me immediately since I was unable to. I have this interaction on video, they KNEW what happened because I watched this worker get scolded on the camera, and yet I never got an apology on anyone's behalf. Nobody said a word when he was picked up. This may seem like not a big deal to some, but when I am paying someone to watch and take care of my animal, I expect them to treat them with love and care. I now send my dog to a different camp bow wow at another location and they are the best. However, I would never recommend the Delaware location after seeing how roughly and aggressively they treated my already shy pup. I am really hoping this worker was terminated or resigned after this so this doesn't happen again. read more

Good luck getting through to the front desk. You call and call and no one answers, ever! You leave a message and if you happen to miss the call and then call right back no one answers! It's unbelievable. Just imagine if there was an emergency with your dog and you needed to get through it wouldn't happen. I understand that things can get busy and customers can be at the desk when phone calls come in , but someone should be checking the answering machine or having someone answer the phone at certain times. I took my dog there for several years after it first opened. I stopped. The owner is very abrasive and rude. I dealt with her bad attitude for years. As the business expanded, the care for my dog got worse and worse. Camp Bow Wow puts enormous amounts of dogs together in "play areas" with hardly any supervision. On camera, I would see huge packs of dogs and 1 worker not even paying attention to them. Their method for dealing with all issues is spraying water in the dogs' faces. My dog was actually bitten while staying there and they acted as though nothing had ever happened. I discovered his bite wounds after I brought him home. The owner actually thought I was lying. She tends to blame her customers and not herself, her workers or her business for bad experiences. If you go to Camp Bow Wow just be aware. read more

I DON'T RECOMMEND GETTING GROOMING HERE. Laurie the owner is combative, and they don't follow your requests. I took my puppy to Camp Bow wow for grooming twice. The 1st time Michelle communicated with me/ sent pics of his process and finished product. I scheduled him for another grooming, but specifically requested he only have a trim around his ears, eyes and mouth because I didn't want him having hair in his eyes all day, but I love his longer hair and with freezing temperatures outside, his long coat really aided in keeping his 5lb. body warm. On the day of grooming, I confirmed by staff that Michelle received the note. I also texted her. This time, she sent me no pics, I should have known. Once I arrived Lauren brought him out, I didn't even recognize him. It's the dead of winter, and Michelle not only did not follow my instructions, but she cut his entire body (summer cut). Michelle said he peed and pooped during his cut (which has never ever happened) he was probably terrified, she went to town on my poor baby. I truly understand people make mistakes. I didn't want her to feel bad so I told her no worries it will grow back, and even tipped her as I always do no matter the service because I was raised that way. Once I got him home and took off his clothing I saw he was so closely cut, all over his body and straggly. It appears at some point she messed up his trim and to save face cut hair off his entire body to even. He was so withdrawn and traumatized by the experience. I called to voice my concerns, but no one would answer. So I drove back to Camp Bow wow, still understanding people make mistakes but wanted someone to acknowledge this terrible error. I voiced my concerns to Monica. she was more concerned that no other customers hear our convo. No apology. At this point I just wanted my money back. Michelle cam from the back which shocked me because in text she said she was home (she stated the owner made her come back to deliver the news to me) That news being... I can get my refund but ...(her words) "you'll get your refund and we are done." She too became cold. I couldn't believe that this was the same Michelle that I tried the entire time in text to make sure she didn't feel bad. When I asked why (not that I cared because I was never returning anyway but just to see what she'd pull out of her hat, since I did nothing wrong. She became silent. No response, because there was no valid reason. She then said because I had an "attitude" about it. WOW. I wonder if a white woman was upset about their dogs botched cut, if they also would have been banned and labeled her as having an "attitude" but this is the world we live in unfortunately. Its not about the mistake it's about the recovery. This place rather throw one in a ditch to save face to the others. The owner is very aggressive, they wanted to rush me out so no other customers would know when a simple empathetic apology/accountability would have made all the difference. Instead of being apologetic, they rather get rid of me or perhaps "my kind" all together. My puppy and I would never step back into that place. Sorry to say there is nothing honorable about them. I can only imagine how they really treat the dogs. I found a new personal groomer, my dog loves her, I'd say that says it all. 2/19 UPDATE: MY REPLY TO LAURIE -AGGRESSIVE OWNER: Not that I have to explain but you ask how he could need grooming only days later only further proves my point. My puppy's nails were never trimmed as Michelle stated so his new groomer took care of it and evened out his coat. He enjoyed the experience. Today I removed the mice comment because sometimes its not the establishments fault. I'm fair. You're too busy being combative and bitter with life. Your horns are showing, maybe take a spa day. You tried to make me out to be a liar simply because my review is true to my experience. Even your reply is unprofessional. The facility is always clean and I love the web cams so I can check in on Gretchen when she is there. I was very impressed by the screening and the professionalism of the staff. At times they have 10+ dogs in a play group and they are respectful and under control. I was also impressed by their screening and evaluation process to ensure Gretchen got placed in the correct play group. TLDR at the bottom if you don't have time for my FULL story! Let me first say that initially, I thought this place was great. After some time, it turns out I was very wrong. When my dog went for her 'interview day' the worker said to make sure she drank lots of water when she got home. I assumed that meant she had a great, full, day of fun and playing! I later found out it's because they don't provide ANY water for the dogs ANYWHERE. I saw a previous review from a former staffer that said it's because they don't want the dogs to pee, and after seeing how they handle accidents when I went there for training I honestly don't doubt it. My dog is a very energetic breed which is why I take her to CBW for day care--because our apartment just doesn't cut it for her. I loved watching her on their online cams romping around and playing! One day, I noticed i could no longer find her on the cam. About the third or fourth time it happened I asked them when I picked her up. They told me she had gotten too rowdy and had to have a time-out in a cabin. I asked when it happened and they said about 3pm--I PICKED HER UP AT 7. They had left her alone in a cabin (~6x6 caged area) for 4hours without telling me. I would've gone and gotten her so at least I didn't have to pay for the whole day when she could've been doing the same thing at home! They then went on to only refer to her as crazy [dog's name] when they spoke to me...and not in a very lighthearted way either most of the time. I took my dog to CBW for group training as well when she was younger. The trainers were very nice and knowledgeable, I will gladly admit! When I was at training one night, the instructor pulled me aside and asked if I could 'please not bring [my dog] to camp on Thursday because they are having an inspector come in and they don't want the dogs that get excited by people to be there because he doesn't like them'. I said okay, whatever because I only bring my dog on Wednesdays anyway, but I was still a bit thrown off by it. I now believe that it's because they knew they wouldn't be able to throw her in a cabin right away when they were being watched. Finally, I was told that my dog was getting 'too rowdy' on multiple occasions (though they would never tell me what had happened, only that she would jump up when someone would come into the pin) and so she had one strike left until she had to take a break (for at least a month) from coming to camp. It's very possible that she was being too crazy toward other dogs, but I'll never know because they wouldn't tell me what happened. Luckily for me, UD went on winter break so I could be with her more of the time anyway and wasn't planning on bringing her over break, so even though she wasn't in trouble yet, we took a break anyway. Fast forward to today--the first Wednesday of Spring semester at UD. I drop off my dog at camp and she seems quite apprehensive. The moment I get home I hop on the live cameras to see my dog wandering around in a pin all by herself when the one right next door is her dog size. WHY? All she wants to do is play with the other dogs but what does she get to do? Sit. Alone. and watch them. I was already at the point where I wasn't going to bring her back but I figured I'd give it one more try after our break...bad decision. As of today I will be finding a new daycare center to take her. TLDR: 1) You better make sure your dogs gets their daily allotment of water before they leave for camp because there will be NONE available to them while they are there. 2) Make sure your dog is well potty trained because if they go (even in the outside area) the workers are none too pleased with them. 3) If your dog is going to camp because you can't watch them, fine. If you are taking them to get energy out, think again, because if they get too rowdy they'll be stuck alone in a cabin for the rest of the day and you wont know about it unless you specifically ask. 4) Camp Bow Wow is a good place to get group training, and a terrible place for daycare/boarding. 5) No matter how long you wait between visits, if the staff doesn't like your dog, they will turn to 'time-outs' at the smallest things just so they don't have to deal with their hyperactivity. read more

One of the only real downsides to living in a city is not having a backyard for an overly rambunctious 4 year old beagle to run around. Though my apartment is within walking distance of the dog park, sometimes those little afternoon visits don't cut it and when you see rain in the forecast and a busy weekend of activities ahead, it isn't fair to leave poor doggy inside bored and lonely. Enter Camp Bow Wow. For years, my little dog man has gone to the Camp Bow Wow in Cherry Hill, NJ because of it's convenient(ish) location from Philadelphia and the fact that I can load up on cheap gas and do my Wegmans shopping all in one trip; but a booked solid weekend at their location had me scrambling to find another option and a quick search on the site said that Newark, DE would be my next closest option. Initially I wasn't keen on the idea of having to travel close to 40 miles to drop the dog off for an overnight, but quick math told me that because this would be a tax free night away with no tolls plus a $2 off Yelp! check-in, I'd actually be saving myself a little money. A few overnights after his first visit, I can safely say that this Camp Bow Wow is just as great as the others that Harvey frequents. Just like all the others I can check in on him on my cell phone using the CBW webcam app, I know he's taken care of (Carly is super nice!), he gets to expend tons and tons of energy and he gets some quality socialization in. It makes me feel like a responsible dog mom when I can take Harvey to camp for the night and bring him home so happy and well rested and never hesitate in telling everyone else about them because I'm that confident in their services. Very happy with Camp Bow Wow! It was kind of nerve-wracking leaving my extremely anxious mutt here for a full day, but he came home pretty chipper and DEFINITELY tired, which is great in my book. They run specials for new customers and throughout the month if you sign up for their enewsletters. The staff is always super friendly and seem to know most of the dogs by name. The best part about Camp Bow Wow, though, is the Camper Cams where you can watch your dog throughout the day. I can pull it up on either my computer or my cell phone, the pages refresh very quickly, and the quality is pretty darn good. Every time I've pulled up the camera to check on my dog, there he is, prancing about. It does feel a little 'Big Brother'-ish but hey, if I'm going to pay $25+ to take my dog to daycare, it's very reassuring to see that he's getting the exercise and the attention he needs. My pup Shadow (chihuahua/pug mix) loves this place, he kills so much energy that when I bring him home all he does is sleep. BTW I've had no flea problems and I love that they enforce the vaccines to be current. My dogs have had a great time at Camp Bow Wow. A few times my dogs had gotten sick including kennel cough despite them both being vaccinated, vomiting, diarrhea corresponding with visits. Despite that I still brought them back. The play and trains were great as well as them being able to get baths and nail trims. Sometimes it would seem as if one of them did not get a bath - I realized later this was because they would bathe and not completely dry my dog ("towel dry") and she would get dirty again from playing. They later made it known in an email that you had to pay more for the blow dry which would mean your dog might smell like they actually had a bath when you picked them up. Good to know. It was also hit or miss if the groomer was around but fine. I would just book an appointment next time. I let it all these things slide because I thought the customer service was great and I really liked the people. So I did book an appointment. Was told by the staff to arrive before 1 pm and my dogs would definitely be groomed - was reassured it was written down in their appointment book. We showed up 40 minutes before 1 and was told rudely the groomer was on the way out and that wasn't possible. I explained that they had an appointment to avoid this... but was met with indignance and disdain - really an unexpected attitude toward a customer. Still the groomer had not left yet and with clear reluctance and attitude they took them back to be groomed. Maybe 10 minutes later I told me one dog was done (pretty impressive for my 65 lb girl to get a bath and towel dry) but they could not bathe the other one - she had tried to bite the groomer? I will admit my Aussie can be skittish, high energy and protective but this was not her first bath here and usually the staff has been familiar with her and how to work with her to give her a bath and get her nails done. She never bit anyone before or had to be muzzled because they knew how to work with her. I go pick them up and everyone was kinda cold and silent towards me - never my experience there before. No one seemed to want to talk about the fact that my dog apparently snapped at someone. My dog who got a bath was wet. It really appeared to me that people were acting in haste and were not taking their time. Anyway. The take away from all this is treat your customers with respect. A bad attitude and rushed "service" is poor service. Don't try to shift the blame on anyone else - especially the customer. Sure it means you have to be "on" all the time especially when its hard to be but that's your job. I still feel pretty shitty about how I was treated as the customer and feelings like that are hard to shake. It is a shame because I always gave them the benefit of the doubt for less than optimal experiences because of their good customer service and convenience they offered. Unfortunately, I can't do that any more and don't see myself taking my dogs back. I don't know what changed - maybe they can't handle their volume and they are stressed and disorganized or maybe I was always just being too tolerant to begin with. Will be looking elsewhere for dog care and grooming. read more

The staff is very friendly but our sweet girl got very sick from staying here for 3 days. She sneezed/green for days after and we are currently still dealing with her being sick and it's been almost two weeks, when we picked her up she just cried and we could tell she had not eaten because she is a tiny dog so I could tell by the fact I could see her ribs and spine very clear. which I couldn't when I dropped her off. I felt awful. I had reservations about bringing her because the day after her interview we had to bring her in for another half day before we could board her and she shivered in the car the entire way there and did not want to go in the building. I went against my gut feeling and just tossed it up to her being sensitive and having separating anxiety. But One day I watched her and she was curled up in a corner of the outside yard shaking from the noise inside for hours. It was heartbreaking to see her so scared. I know my dog is very overwhelmed by noises and new things but if you see a dog in distress shouldn't it be their job to notify us that she is having a hard time or if she hasn't eaten in days to let us know. I did see the staff loving on dogs and walking around. They did clean up after them quickly but I just don't like that our dog got sick from staying there and that they don't have better communication with owners when dogs are stressed. We will not be back because it's not a good fit for our dog and I am to scared she will get sick again. read more

Riley the Cockapoo has been walking Tracy and Kristen, our Camp Bow Wow Home Buddies, for over a year now. He looks forward to that time of the day when they come in the door! I have used Camp Bow Wow's boarding and day care services. I am very impressed by their facilities and level of care. Unlike other boarding facilities, their drop off and pick up hours are convenient, even on weekends. They open super early so I can drop my little guy off before work and they are open later on weekends, so you can avoid having to buy another night for a pickup after noon (They are open till 6:30, which is sweet!). Along with convenient operating hours and policies, the employees are always very sweet and knowledgeable. They really care about your pup! Camp Bow Wow has online Camper Cams, so you can watch your dog while it is at camp. Be warned, this is very addicting! Via the webcam, I noticed that the employees spend a large amount of time with the dogs, petting them and making sure they are well cared for. The dogs play all day and get super tuckered out while doing so. Your dog will snooze the evening away if you send them to day care! The dogs play nicely together, thanks to Bow Wow's policy of interviewing every potential camper. I have never worried about my 15 lb dog meeting an aggressive larger camper. They separate the play groups by size and temperament. I love that all day play is included in the boarding rate. I had to pay an extra $24 for 2-4 hours of group play at my old place, which seems ridiculous compared to Bow Wow's rates! All in all, I am thrilled that Camp Bow Wow was recommended to me by a friend. My dog loves it there and really enjoys playing with all of the other dogs. The facilities are extremely clean (They are always cleaning!) and safe. I think they give you a great value for your money. Most importantly, I am always confident that my little guy is in good hands when he is at Camp Bow Wow! read more

We have been boarding our dog Mac at Camp Bow Wow for several years. We've always been happy with the care that he received. The staff are very caring and Mac loves to go there. We boarded him over the holidays and unfortunately, Mac developed vomiting, diarrhea and dehydration. Laurie, owner of Camp Bow Wow, called immediately to inform us and kept us updated on his condition. Laurie and the staff went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure Mac got the veterinary care he needed. My dog has been a "regular" at Camp Bow Wow for over a year now and seems to love every minute of his day. I love that he comes home pleasantly tired (he is still a puppy). I have also used the overnight care which has been very convenient. The team that works at Camp are customer friendly. When you have a large number of dogs in one place there will always be occasional issues to manage and when there are problems they deal with them as efficiently as possible. While the rules about vaccinations and flea control may be a bit difficult they are there to protect all of the dogs. We are very glad for this resource! Thanks! read more

Great place to take your dogs! They have cameras to watch your dog when you first come in and also and app but the app isn't perfect they have had shh the dogs are sleeping up for hours now after the cameras were functioning fine. The staff are nice as well and you can do a half day or full day. You give them your dogs Lunch and they will feed him. Price isn't bad either. They also board your dog as well if needed. .
