When I reached out to Jack he suggested we meet up prior to my needing his services to meet my pup so they could get to know one another before the trip. When I left him with Jack during my vacation, I received a pic of my baby as well as daily updates on his well-being. He told me how he was eating, his many walks and his temperament while being in a different home that he was not used to. This was really a relief to me as I didn't have to worry that my pup was being taken care of in a knowledgeable, calm atmosphere. I will definitely use Jack again for any future pet sitting vacations that I will need. He is the best! G

In addition to his size and strength, Zippy is extremely reactive, thus very difficult to control, when he encounters other dogs during walks. I advertised for dog walkers on Nextdoor and received a few responses from kids and other dog lovers. When Jack Feldmann the owner of Your Pet's Best Friend reached out to me, it was immediately apparent that he is a professional -- the real deal. He and his associate, Kevin Wilson, were totally unfazed by Zippy's size and potential for problems. Both developed great relationships with our monster dog and managed him beautifully. Fortunately, I'm again able to walk Zippy, but I will certainly call Your Pet's Best Friend anytime our circumstances require support with Zippy. If you live in the Wilmington area, I highly recommend their services. Jack's number is (302) 379-5501.

Firstly, I'd like to note that I'm currently blocked from leaving a FB review on the For the Love…read moreof Dogs LLC Facebook page. My wife, and I hired FLD from Wed Nov 13th in the evening, to Friday evening to provide 6 60-minute visits for our 2 dogs. We have strict rules for our pets that were quite clearly illustrated, most notably that our dogs are to stay in our large kitchen area when nobody is home so that they don't get into things around the house. When we arrived home we had found: 1.) Main door unlocked. 2.) Kitchen door (sunroom connects the main door, and kitchen area) ajar. 3.) The gate in the kitchen wide open, and our critters running around the house. Over the course of the day they had knocked over electronics, candles, and made a mess (#1 & #2) in our piano room. After a 3+ hour drive back from Washington DC, it was not a great look for us to have to Bona 3 rooms because of an error on our sitters part. I wish I could say that that was our only complaint, on a whim we decided to check the logs for our security system to see when our sitter had last been there, and we were shocked to learn: 1.) Out of 6 60-minute visits, he only came 4 times. 2.) Not a single visit lasted an hour, one lasted 45 minutes, and the remaining 3 averaged 30 minutes. This is absolutely unacceptable. I hope that nobody else will ever have to come home to a completely unsecured home after hiring this company. It's blatantly irresponsible, and there needs to be a better system for vetting sitters, and their actions while in a persons home. For our trouble were were refunded $99 out of $168. I believe that we deserve a full refund, not a single service that we hired this company for was properly rendered. This is not acceptable.

We have three dogs, two with disabilities (one is blind and one is deaf), and this was not at all an issue. Leah and her team set up a schedule and made sure our babies were well cared for. If you're looking for a service that will come to your home and take good care of your fur babies, For the Love of Dogs is it. We will definitely call again for all of our pet sitting needs. Thanks again!

Thank you Stephanie!…read more My anxiety-ridden rescue, Honey, was spending time away from home for the first time without me. I wanted to bring her to a boarder that would not put her in a crate and forget about her all 5 days. Honey has the tendency to hide and resist walks. I am so thankful that Stephanie tried her best to accommodate her quirks and even gifted us a collar that works well with Honey's breed. I will happily refer others to Wag the Dog!

It's hard to review this business without talking about the personality of Stephanie, the owner -…read morethat's what makes it special. She's one of these rare people in Philadelphia who has so much idealism about the environment and furry creatures. She has two dogs herself, a French bulldog and this super adorable Pug that I want to sneak home with me. Her philosophy is very much connected to animal psychology, so she doesn't really think "Oh, time to walk the dog." Rather she spends time with the dogs and gives them whatever they need in the moment. She does some training although I don't know the specifics of that. She likes to give feedback to owners about what the dog is doing, kind of like a nanny would do with a child. I have learned a lot of things from her, but to be honest, she sometimes says things that are over my head. She has boarding opportunities although they need to be able to get on with her own dogs. She is ridiculously affordable and I know for a fact that she'll negotiate with people. At the very least, I suggest you call her and bring your dog over to meet her. I think that would be the best way to see if there's a fit. I almost can guarantee that your dog will love her. And you will too.
