She loves it here, which speaks of how well she is engaged & treated. I now also use bording for weekend get aways & vacations knowing she will be safe and well cared for! Clean, modern facility with absolutely amazing staff! Prices are reasonable.

I've waited three days before writing this, expecting that someone from ownership or management…read morewould reach out personally to express concern, apologize for the situation, or acknowledge the significant disruption and expense this caused our family. As we were preparing to leave for a trip to Italy this past Saturday, we received a call from the kennel caring for our dogs informing us that one of our dogs, Alfie, had escaped. What was most surprising was that the purpose of the call seemed to be asking whether Alfie had ever done something like this before. He hadn't. More importantly, one would reasonably expect a kennel to have secure fencing and proper access controls in place to prevent this type of situation from happening in the first place. Anyone who knows Alfie knows he's an incredibly sweet and adorable dog -- but he's certainly not some canine mastermind. He's no Steve McQueen in The Great Escape. The fact that he was able to get out raises serious concerns about the facility's security and procedures. It is now Monday evening, more than 48 hours later, and we still have not received a single call from the owner or management. I don't believe a single incident automatically means a business should be condemned. Mistakes can happen anywhere. But when a business fails to take ownership of a serious event after it occurs, that says a great deal about how they value accountability and customer trust. I sincerely hope no other family has to experience something similar.

Today I took my Aussiedoodle to Pleasant Pet Resort in Nottingham PA. To be groomed. I told them…read morespecifically that I did NOT want a poodle cut and showed her the way I wanted it with picture #1. I said I believe this was a puppy cut. In a few minutes she came back out and said there was some matting on his check and underside and that she would have to cut that closer. I agreed but said I still wanted the rest of my dog to have a puppy cut... not a poodle cut. After a bit she came out with a dog that I did not even recognize as Teddy. Picture #2 shows his now Pom Pom ears and a Pom Pom head and and a fluffy tail. I said "I told you I did not want a poodle cut! She said she had told me she would have to do that...She did not say that. She said his chest and belly had some matting and she would have to cut that short. I said ok but leave the rest about an inch to inch and a half. I told her I was very upset. I sure she already knew that. I had already paid the $60 bill but she did not offer to cut the cost... just walked into the back. The other worker at the counter said nothing. I felt like crying on our way home. but I think I was too angry. I will not return to that center.

If I could give 10 stars I would. This is the 2nd time we've kenneled our dog. This was the best…read moreexperience he's ever had. We told the ladies about his anxiety and they not only had a separate place for special needs dogs they made him comfortable enough to even associate him with other dogs. They told us he actually made 2 friends. The first time was not here but at Applebrook Bed & Biscuit, and they asked us not to bring him back. They did not have the time to work him or with his anxiety. After they assured us they would.
