This business is owned by an owner who neglects her own dog. Her German Shepherd (pictured below)…read moreis severely underfed and malnourished. The dog also has a cut on his tail that has been allowed to sling blood across the walls of the kennels. Not only is this abusive to that dog, but also puts other dogs at risks of any diseases as I'm sure her dog is not up on his vaccinations. Many dogs who enter this facility become sick, often presenting with blood in the stool. Their Facebook page and website include NO pictures of the inside of the facility- because its covered in blood and feces. $34 a day for boarding and $23 for daycare is cheap- know that the quality matches the price tag. This business should be shut down and the owner deserves jail time for animal abuse, neglect and endangerment.

When we first discover them last year, we thought they were an answer to prayer for excellent dog care. We over looked the cats in the reception area- along with their litter- why I do not know. And that first visit went well. It has been the subsequent visits that did not go so well. For example- the time he came home stinking like he rolled in poop- he was supposed to get a bath but they did not give him one. Or when he came home sneezing. Or this time when he came home BLEEDING! We paid to have his nails gound down- he does not do well with clippers and will get cut because he moves. I TOLD them this. However, when I arrived to pick up Bandit yesterday the older woman looked pissed off- gets up walks in the back. Next thing I hear is the cry of my dog- like with your children, you know your dogs cry. 10 minutes later, Bandit is brought to me. We leave with no words or exlaination. It is upon returning home that I see the trail of blood Bandit is leaving behind. Not a small amount either. I call them - and after 3 attemps someone answers and rudely says that "Oh, yea - we cut the quick and put quickstop on it. Must of fallen off when he hit the pavement." You did not think to tell me this?!?!? I immediately cancelled the 5 other bookings we had through Febuary 2020. I get that you get busy. But you had the dog for 5 days- why wait until the last moment to do something we are paying for?

Upon drop off the office was just cluttered but upon pick up this area had a terrible odor of what we believe was feline urine. Our dog was cared for pretty well however he "stunk" when we picked him up and we had to immediately bathe him! We were told they would bathe him just before pick up but that obviously was over looked! The outside appearance was littered with junk cars and golf carts that were not used in a long time.. there was a porta potty outside for customer use.. curious why the indoor plumbing was not available for customers! Pinewood kennels is very good.
