Giving the restaurant a call to place an order seems like a better option than ordering online, just based on the differences between their published menu and online ordering site. I didn't spend long inside, but the space seemed inviting and clean. In terms of the food, I was generally happy. We were aiming for relatively easy going brunch food, and they delivered. The house salad was pretty good, though the avocado seemed unnecessary and the goat cheese was a little intense. More cheese than necessary. The veggie omelette was exceptional. Exactly what we were aiming for. The crepes were an interesting option, and the actual crepe portion was well done. The fillings were somewhat restrained, but that's probably intentional. Pairing a salad with the crepe seemed like the right move. All told, this was a good experience. The food was nicely presented. The vegetables were generally fresh. A much better experience than I anticipated going in.

They ordered the Chicken Panini sandwich and the Challah French Toast. My scrambled eggs weren't scrambled and weren't good. See attached picture - it's the sorriest looking 'scrambled eggs' I've ever seen. I worked as a short order cook in college ('71-77) and mastered the 'art of cooking eggs'. I offered to show them how to make scrambled....they laughed. My side order of potatoes weren't much better. Overly seasoned with this onion salt that made them somewhat unpalatable. Well, my relatives fared better than I did! The Chicken Panini sandwich was tasty - the chicken was tender and the Gouda cheese made it very tasty. The Classic French Toast, with strawberries was also delicious - slightly crispy exterior and a light and fluffy interior! While my breakfast was, unfortunately, not very good, theirs was.

After walking around the neighborhood, this one had seating, so we went inside. First, I'll say the coffee we tried was pretty good - a cappuccino and a brown sugar cinnamon latte. The barista asked "for here or to go" and the drinks still came in a paper cup anyway despite us saying "for here". I really enjoy having a coffee in an actual glass/mug when I say "for here". The ambiance was a bit confusing... not really sure what they were going for in the space, things were a bit choppy and thrown together. Kinda felt like you were in someone's garage with cluttered items on rickety shelves behind the counter. Our barista was very nice, but an awkward moment occurred when they were ringing us up - barista asked for a tip but then told us not to put the tip on the credit card because the owner steals from them. We felt this was a little uncomfortable and gave some unwelcoming energy. We also tried a Nutella croissant, which was very good! I think this shop has a lot of potential with some changes to service and decor.

RACIST BARISTA??? A barista cursed at me. I was talking on my phone to my parents in Turkey. I was talking Turkish, my native language.I became loud apparently. I can be and am open to warnings. the barista warned me i such a rude way that I just immediately started packing and leaving, in shame. I realized than this is my immediate reaction but I did not need to feel I need to leave just because I have been loud which is a mistake that can be fixed veeeery easily. I have taken warnings about my voice before, I tend to get excited and be loud but I take the warnings and quite down. but this way of warning (no smile, no asking, just giving a command to use headphones with a reprimanding look on the face as if one is looking at a child they are angry at or someone they are fighting with etc., an insulting look for a young woman who does not do anything morally wrong but doing a fixable mistake). Then I decided to tell him that he was rude, he could have warned kindly. he said he doesnt understand, I said you are rude, He didn't understand, his face was again looking down on me. it was a horrible insulting careless bored face talking to a foreigner. Other people who understood me told him what I was telling. I have an accent, he might not understand me, but kind people who realize they don't understand me because of my accent find kind ways to ask without making me feel like a moaning animal. I said his way of treating my accent was also rude. he said I was being loud without saying sorry or without trying to be a little more polite. his rejection to be kinder draw me mad and I shouted "I will shout because I am angry and I want people to hear that you are rude." he told me to get the fuck out of there. so did I. this guy has long black hair. Racism does not only show when people explicitly target it but when they lack necessary kindness when they are dealing with foreigners. I strongly believe that he would not warn anyone like he warned me in an insulting, reprimanding way. we do not reprimand each other as audlts very frequently, right. we warn each other. I believe my accent and language made him able to look down on me and treat me not as adult person read more

Great java, but what sets this area apart from others is the owner is super nice as well as the area is light and airy. I came in to get my java to really go, but I could absolutely see myself coming back here to work. There are about 6 tables and it is pretty quiet. There is even an additional room in the rear with a few more tables where you might have little group discussions without troubling the remaining portion of the store. Did not have a opportunity to test out the Wifi, but it's accessible. Expect to stop in again soon! read more
