I enjoy this place but each time it's something. When you book be informed. Don't book first in the morning the cats are sleeping still, if you book at the end of the day they will be scooping litter and spraying the place down and that sucks. Also call and ask if they have a birthday party because I booked and came in early to order my coffee and there are 5 kids running around scaring the cats so yeah that sucked too. Support the cats but be informed to you actually get to see them. read more

Amazing place, my favorite business probably ever. I can't even articulate how good the atmosphere and service is. Plus, the coffee is great and their hot chocolate is the best I've ever had! Instrumental in my battle with mental health and self-confidence, what with the casual atmosphere and opportunities to contribute back to needy cats just melts away my anxieties. This is a lovely cafe and rescue venue. They have a wide variety of drinks, creative concoctions and make some of their flavors in house such as lavender. I like to stop by for a pick me up once in a while, since I support their mission to find loving home to cats and have a delightful selection of goodies at the gift shop :) read more

We love supporting local businesses (and cats), so we try to visit the cat cafe once a month for the cat room. The staff is extremely kind and Constellation Cat Cafe has become one of our favorite places in Lansing. When we were looking to get another cat, it was obvious where we should adopt from. We adopted Ollie recently and we are impressed with the love and care the cat cafe has for the cats. The cat cafe is now even more important to us as Ollie has been such a great addition. I loved the Constellation Cat Cafe and I don't even necessarily consider myself a cat person. The cafe was completely separate, so there was no chance of cat hair in my latte. Staff was super helpful and friendly. Loved the coffee and cute little shop. It was a great break to play with cats. I had a reservation and was glad I had it! I didn't have to wait much time at all, but was still able to watch the kittens through the glass. read more

Extremely slow service. I waited close to 30 minutes for the barista to finish making my latte. There was only one order ahead of mine and 3 baristas working. The manager is a real piece of work. She was very condescending and went out of her way to embarrass a customer and then forced him to leave because they had an event starting in 20 minutes but did not offer him a refund. I was disappointed with their customer service and frankly appalled by how poorly they treat customers. I do not recommend this place to anyone and will not be returning again in the future. The management seems to care more about making a profit than adopting cats to a good home. Please visit your local animal shelter/humane society instead. read more

The Cat Cafe is a great place and a welcome addition to the EL community. They have a nice space for students to study with furry friends and get a delicious drinks. The coffee, lattes and milkshakes are fantastic. Honestly... really good handmade treats at fair prices. The Cafe helps shelter cats & kittens to find forever homes and hosts events to further the adoption cause. Friendly staff and volunteers to great you. Even with the Covid 19 struggles the cafe has had curbside adoption events and curbside drink pickup. Support a great non profit! read more

This place is pure bliss! You can come for coffee and watch the cats through windows into the cat room, or you can pay a little extra to hang out in a room full of playful cats and kittens. All of the cats are rescue cats waiting to be adopted! The cats are certainly a great reason to go, but the coffee and snacks are actually really fine quality too! Best matcha latte I've ever had! Oh, and there is super adorable cat themed merchandise available too for gifting or to treat yourself. Highly recommended! read more

I went here today for the first time and loved it! The staff was really friendly, they offered a wide variety of drinks, and all of the cats were playful. The cat room was very clean and comfortable and I didn't feel as though there were too many people even though the time slot I was in for was full. One thing to keep in mind: if you come on the weekend or evening it seems like they get booked pretty fast (only a certain number of people are allowed in the cat room at once) so I would recommend making a reservation a few hours in advance! read more

Our furball was a former cafe kitty who was fostered at Constellation.
