My bifocals and bifocal sunglasses are entrusted to a local Guild Optician. He provides the degree of service, selection, and thoroughness that Dr. Yoon does, without requiring me to shoehorn my ugly big face into a pair of undersized Luxottica frames. More to the point, Dr. Yoon takes the time to explain thoroughly everything surrounding your examination. Her pleasant thoroughness is simply outstanding...and, I have used word of mouth to spread the word about her and the office's pleasant "can do" attitude. She is a credit to her profession, and having her as my optician is a pleasure.

The employee, Leila, was rude and dismissive and even hung up on me before I could explain my situation. When I went to the store in person, the manager (possibly Edith) behaved in a similar way--refusing to listen and continuing to push insurance I did not need. Another employee eventually stepped in and confirmed that I was correct all along. No customer should ever be treated this way. This situation caused me significant stress and left me with no trust in this location. I have filed formal complaints with corporate.

I wanted to order contacts, and replace two pairs of lenses (read: high margin item) with a new prescription. So, I arrived, and the front doors look like what you think an Ebola ward would look like. (I was tightly masked up) Signs plastered STOP!!! STAY IN YOUR CAR! in multiple places and a phone number. I had parked my car around the corner in the shade and was on foot. Of course, the door was locked, why wouldn't it be with so many dire warnings. So, through the store window, through the plexiglass shield at her desk, and from behind her mask (in the store ALONE as far as I could see) the receptionist could only bring herself to lift up the handset on the phone and point to it. New customer, probably $1500 to spend, I took my phone and then started to dial and though - she can't even get up and come say hello through the glass and have some sort of human interaction? Neither I nor my money is that transactional and if I wanted to have an experience through the glass, I would either get a friend who is in prison or try and see if Hannibal Lector is in an institution nearby. Until then, I will find a different eyeglass place where customers are human and not an infection waiting to happen.

I wanted to give a special thank you to "Alisha".  When I came in to pick up my glasses with new prescription they were incorrect.  This time I worked with Alisha.  Alisha realized what the problem was, remeasured and ordered new lenses which when they came in were correct.  When I came in a few weeks later with new sunglass frames that I needed lenses for, I specifically asked for Alisha.  She went above and beyond to ensure the lenses were measured correctly and helped me pick out a color for the lenses.  When I picked them up I could see perfectly and the color was great.  Alisha is a pleasure to work with and very professional.   Thank you all!
