DO NOT SIGN UP for any type of service! Their customer service goes back to ice ages. They cut my mom's phone 9 days ago, without letting her know; no bills or at least a phone call/ message that the line will be cut off. They are saying she had a balance of over $200 for out of country call $5 a minute. But since Friday they can't produce a minute balance sheet for those calls. This is not how you do business in US! I switched from Spectrum because their cost is high, but I run a business and depend on my phone. Connect to is a Horrible company when you have a problem and call customer service you get a heavy accented person on the phone that barely speaks English. The tech person can not solve problems. I kept them as my phone and WiFi provider for 5 mouths and then switched back to Spectrum and now I am very happy to be back in professional land again. read more

As the review prior to mine, I also wish I didn't have to leave even one star rating. I am a small business with to many bills. So I tried to cut costs on my phone and internet. I was promised, that my internet speed would be the same as I am used to. It was not the same. Not even close. And I would have customer after customer either come in or call and ask me what was wrong with my phone. It wouldn't ring. Or rang once and hung up. And this is just the service end of it. Now the company itself and its employees are straight up, well I'll let you make your own judgement. It all started with the promise of an inexpensive great working Internet and phone. Then when you realize that it's not so great(TWO DAYS LATER) they will not let you cancel it. It took me over eight months to have them port my business phone number back. When finally everything was said and done and I was rid of them. I call just to make sure I don't owe anything. I was not surprised that all of the sudden I now owe a $100 disconnection fee. I asked him to please show me in the contract. They stated,"it was a verbal contract."Really a verbal contract., you don't say. Yes they went there. A VERBAL CONTRACT??? Have they lost there minds!! Never happened. I would be here all day telling you about all the scandalous things this company has done to me. Well it would probably read like a Stephen King novel I don't have that kind of time. When I canceled with them I spoke to them over the phone and said that since I canceled they will charge me $100 fee for setting up their service. I told them I don't recall this contract. Absolutely the worst internet and phone provider imaginable! I have suffered a year and a half with their lousy service and I'M DONE! They are a third-party reseller of old AT&T lines. Their internet is impossibly slow, the signal is intermittent most of the time, so things stall and sputter, and the phone service is a complete joke! Callers can't hear you when you answer. Calls drop all the time, and it sounds like you're under water. Their customer service is even worse. After they aggressively pursued our business for several months, I finally signed on with them because they had a very low price, and my existing service was also pretty bad. My business is located in an area of Downtown Los Angeles where we cannot get AT&T, Time Warner/Spectrum or any of the other major providers. Only after I signed up did I find out that everyone who works there is either Armenian or Russian and none of them can speak decent English. I am not anti-immigrant, nor am I an "English only" person. However, if you are going to market to English-speaking customers, you better have some employees there who speak fluent English. When you call customer service the first thing someone asks you is "Do you speak Armenian or Russian?" None of their tech people speak English, so trying to explain a technical problem and get it fixed is close to impossible. Even when they finally understand what you're saying it takes them forever to fix the problem and get the system up and running again. Aside from their incompetence, THEIR STUPID TECHNICAL SUPPORT DEPARTMENT CLOSES AT 8 PM!!!! And it's completely closed on Sunday! So if your system goes down after 8 pm on Saturday it will STAY DOWN until sometime on Monday at the earliest! ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? Also, since they don't own the lines they are selling you, they frequently cannot solve the problem themselves. They have to call AT&T if it's a problem with the line. Then you're waiting and waiting for AT&T to fix the line. But of course, you can't contact AT&T directly because they have no record of you. They also COMPLETELY closed their service down between Christmas and New Year's. No customer support. No technical support. You couldn't reach anyone until January 3rd! Hey, it's the holidays. Who needs internet and phone service? I actually went over to their office in Glendale and banged on the door, thinking maybe someone would be there for some reason. Nope. Out of luck. No service for almost two weeks. I could go on and on about their stupid business. Their website is awful, and their online payment portal doesn't even work. And when you call up and are put on hold, there is a recording of annoying music (the old chestnut "Love is Blue") that sounds as if it was recorded under water and has horrible static. For a company that bills itself as "your connection to the world," these things certainly don't represent their company well. Finally, I was able to find a provider that uses microwave equipment and we now have a dedicated signal that is very reliable, ten times faster and they have excellent customer service. They are more expensive than ConnectTo, but it's well worth it not to have to deal with the ConnectTo incompetent idiots! Don't deal with these people! read more

I visited Oscar C. many times when he had ConnectTo Communications for his internet and personally saw how bad his internet was. Whenever we watched YouTube videos we had to watch them in the lowest most pixelated setting, to the point my eyes would hurt. When we played video games online, the games lagged and constantly disconnected. I was never on his wifi because it was basically non existent. I cant believe he lasted that long with them, I would never have that much patience for such a bad company. I can't tell you how many times he told me he had to call the technical department, or how many times he used up all his data on his phone so we could watch Disney+. His new internet company is amazing, we are both online right now as I write this with no problem. I also heard the customer service rep Karina talk shit to him, she sounded like a wild diseases dog, barking orders. I agree with him 100%, avoid this company at all cost. This company is full of crap! We clearly have an invoice for which we paid them over $2000.00. The invoice clearly states that we have a warranty of 2 years for cameras, 2 years for DVR & a lifetime warranty on the wiring of the entire system. We last paid them in January 2017. The warranty should not expire until 2019. Yet, when we called them today, they are "magically" unable to find our invoice or our acct. They aren't even to look up the service address. The employees are horrible and rude. They don't care about giving you the "absolute best service". They care about getting your business 1x and then they act like they don't know you. I got a cold call from connect to communications offering me a slightly better deal than spectrum, so I made the decision to make the switch. After two months of signing up with connect to communications I still didn't have my internet connected. I called at least 3 times a week for those two months and kept getting the run around that a technician would call me. I never received a call, but they were sure to send me a $158 dollar bill for a service I never got. Meanwhile I still had to pay my spectrum bill. I finally I got so frustrated with the situation that I decided to stay with spectrum and not bother with a company that cannot follow trough with what they promise. I had at&t service before and it was costly. So I called connectto to switched my service with them. It was smooth transfer and great customer service. We had little issue from our phone lines but that was at&t who damaged our lines. So I called connectto they came fixed everything reconnected my service back.
