For 3 years now my family and I have been dealing with poor, little or no internet. It all depends on weather, how many of our neighbors were online, what was happening to towers around us and every little thing you could imagine. Everyone in the complex and even various service providers laughed when I mentioned service. A good day was watching a one and a half hour movie that took three hours to watch. Or running to the local FedEx to get work done because you couldn't get the printer to connect at home. I even went as far as to try and use a rural area provider. Purchased all kinds of antennas. I did what so many others did---Windows 10, no option got it installed in a new computer. I was advised to contact Tekwerks in San Fernando. I did, and felt comfortable. I made an appointment, arrived on time, Jon was waiting. I brought in my old computer w/Windows & and the new computer and printer. I told him, what I needed. Jon gave me a point or two--I left all info and equipment they requested. They were done in about a day. It was completely ready, I tried it in the shop, anything different was explained. Tekwerks has been my business's internet provider for the past four years. We were previously with Verizon but lost connection several times a month and the customer service was terrible! I came to Tekwerks with an infected Mac (I KNOW RIGHT?!?! A MAC!!!) This mac was nearly unusable. Tons of pop ups, occasional freezing, random blackouts, every program kept crashing. Pure disappointment... Danny does not keep his word. I had an appointment last week to meet him-no show. I called to follow up on his status...another associate advised that he left home for the day. Danny forgot...fine, I'll give it another try as I'm sure he is very busy. We made an appointment for today, he calls me on time and states that a "big project came up" and cannot make it. I came home early from my vacation to have this meeting. I rearranged my schedule TWICE, yes TWICE for this unprofessionalism. He had the audacity to remind me that installation will still cost $100 after failing to arrive at our meeting. Unbelievable. Business is business, and when you make arrangements/commitments, it would be wise to follow through with potential customers...as you are a representation of your brand. I support small businesses.
