Most amazing experience of a lifetime. Great people work here! I felt very safe. I expected to be terrified when it was time, but I felt zero fear and had complete confidence in the instructor. Thank you so much!

Skydivers - most people say we're crazy. Some say they have a death wish. Psychologists say people with an inclination to take high risks are a necessary part of the continuation of our species. OR, you might just have something mentally wrong with you to jump out of a plane. Whatever your reason, do it once in your life and test your limits. With that said, my experience at CT Parachutist was very enjoyable. Shooting the breeze with the jump-masters and instructors was awesome. Mingling with other jumpers and sharing our stories -- it was a real treat to talk to amongst the crazies. HOWEVER, the front office (Manifest) really dropped the ball. Thinking back, the operation really was not efficient, stream-lined, or seamless. Yes, weather and wind are HUGE factors in the actual jump. But, between the front office losing my paperwork that I had completed online (2 waivers) to the ungodly long wait - this operation could have been made more organized and systematic. Our background: we purchased 2 jumping packages, 2 video packages. The weather was perfect, and was not overly gusty. We waited 5+ hours to jump. Our appointment was at 1030am. We arrived at 945am and did not actually board the plane until 3pm. Training honestly takes less than 5 minutes. The website does state to "plan to spend at least half a day at the drop zone". Honestly, if I could have done things differently, I wished we were informed on an "ideal" time to arrive, or at least what our actual wait times were. As I said before jumping was phenomenal. The intense focus and the pump of adrenaline leave you feeling mentally and physically cleansed. All of the people we got to interact with were awesome, BUT I would hesitate in coming back just because of how poorly organized the operations were handled.

    So much fun

Saturday I went tandem skydiving at the Ellington airport through ct parachutist....it was one of the most exciting and great experience I ever had...the staff was great and very reassuring and gained your trust immediately ....I had Walt as my instructor tandem partner and he was great..if I return I will ask for him...I had Alfonzo as my video/still photographer and he was great making me feel bad relaxed as Walt did....I would return without a doubt...you must try it as it is worth every dime...

I was promised a full color one in the mail, my spouse and i damn near had to beg for one and had to satify with a coloring book black/white copy. Not the ones in full color with typed up names. it would of been awesome, nice and cool to get to place this daredevil achievement on my wall next to my plaques, Spartan race medals and sport trophies. However i got a piece of paper my daughter could of made me. And to make it worse is this was a my birthday and it was a gift. Sucks to be me huh. Ps. Took our group/family business to skydivect in Ellington. Way better! **pics in the bottom color is the ones everyone got. Nice right. Mine is in black/white. Smh

My companions and I were treated wonderfully from start to finish. Everybody is really nice and accommodating. They make first timers feel at ease, and explain everything multiple times, so that you'll know what to do. Our scheduled jump time had to be rescheduled, because of a nearby presidential visit and a no fly restriction after a certain hour. Skydive Danielson reached out to us the day before, and worked with us to find an earlier time that worked for us. Even though the cause of the delay was beyond their control, they took it upon themselves to find a way to accommodate everybody. The jump itself was an unforgettable experience. My instructor was excellent, and made me feel very at ease. If you're debating whether or not to spring for the photo and / or video packages, DO IT! You'll always have a really cool keepsake and proof that you're a total badass who jumps out of a perfectly good plane at 14,000 feet! What are your waiting for? Book your jump!

My dad had taken my son ziplining 2 weeks prior and after that amazing day he said, "How would Jacob feel about jumping out of an airplane?" I talked it over with Jacob and he was excited to go do anything Papa wanted to do. Unfortunately, age requirements leave him waiting 4 more years for his first jump, and I plan on taking him for his 18th bday. (If he still wants to go.) I thought to myself, Why does my dad want to do all the fun stuff with Jacob?! So I said, "Whats the matter, you don't want to jump out of a perfectly good airplane with a 40 year old?" The next message I got was, "Thursday morning, 10am, Mom and I will meet you at The Boston Skydive Center." After nervously reading through and signing all the forms online, we were good to go. When we arrived the weather was damn near perfect. Everyone who works there was so amazing. Checking in was super easy. They were extremely thorough with the instructions and made sure you felt safe and educated about skydiving every step of the way. On the walk to the airplane we did a little pre interview and went over the events that were about to take place one last time. Then, with a high five and thumbs up we were on the plane. The views while getting up to altitude were absolutely beautiful. It was such a peaceful ride. Getting ready to actually jump out of the plane was terrifying, but what are you really gonna do when you're already halfway out of the plane?? JUMP!!! It was the most insane feeling I've ever experienced. The views were even more breathtaking, and from up there, the world looked perfect. We jumped with two of the best, Boris and Ratin. Couldn't have asked for two better guys. (For multiple reasons ) The videos and still pictures they got were phenomenal and I am so impressed that they can video like that, multiple times a day, while jumping out of a plane when I could barely keep my eyes open from the wind. A core memory was made that day, not only from the jump with my dad, but also from seeing his video and the pure, whole hearted happiness that was written all over his face. Made my heart smile. Thank you for making this day so memorable for my Dad and I. It is one I will NEVER forget.
