The date was August 22,2024. I woke up to beautiful sunny skies and started to get ready for an adventure that was planned less than a week prior. My dad had taken my son ziplining 2 weeks prior and after that amazing day he said, "How would Jacob feel about jumping out of an airplane?" I talked it over with Jacob and he was excited to go do anything Papa wanted to do. Unfortunately, age requirements leave him waiting 4 more years for his first jump, and I plan on taking him for his 18th bday. (If he still wants to go.) I thought to myself, Why does my dad want to do all the fun stuff with Jacob?! So I said, "Whats the matter, you don't want to jump out of a perfectly good airplane with a 40 year old?" The next message I got was, "Thursday morning, 10am, Mom and I will meet you at The Boston Skydive Center." After nervously reading through and signing all the forms online, we were good to go. When we arrived the weather was damn near perfect. Everyone who works there was so amazing. Checking in was super easy. They were extremely thorough with the instructions and made sure you felt safe and educated about skydiving every step of the way. On the walk to the airplane we did a little pre interview and went over the events that were about to take place one last time. Then, with a high five and thumbs up we were on the plane. The views while getting up to altitude were absolutely beautiful. It was such a peaceful ride. Getting ready to actually jump out of the plane was terrifying, but what are you really gonna do when you're already halfway out of the plane?? JUMP!!! It was the most insane feeling I've ever experienced. The views were even more breathtaking, and from up there, the world looked perfect. We jumped with two of the best, Boris and Ratin. Couldn't have asked for two better guys. (For multiple reasons ) The videos and still pictures they got were phenomenal and I am so impressed that they can video like that, multiple times a day, while jumping out of a plane when I could barely keep my eyes open from the wind. A core memory was made that day, not only from the jump with my dad, but also from seeing his video and the pure, whole hearted happiness that was written all over his face. Made my heart smile. Thank you for making this day so memorable for my Dad and I. It is one I will NEVER forget. read more

This is my second time going sky diving so I speak with (a tiny amount) of experience when I say this is an amazing, amazing place. The staff is so friendly and funny, they made the entire experience go so smooth. The divers are extremely experienced and definitely know what they're doing! This was my first time jumping out of a plane. This was such a comfortable experience from the moment we arrived. Any questions were answered and our tandem jumpers were sociable and "down to earth". The flight up to our jump altitude is snug but comfortable. Also the photos and the video came out great to help enjoy that days experience! read more

These guys are great. So clearly skydiving isn't for everyone, but if you're ever considering giving it a shot, this is a great place for it. Everyone here is a) awesome and b) experienced. They're not all that professional in the sense that they don't use ridiculous phone voices and cater to your every whim - but that is definitely not what you should expect to find anywhere you skydive. They are extremely relaxed and very friendly. At no point did I feel that I was in any danger... well until I was staring at the ground from about 10,000 feet in the air hanging out of the door of an airplane. A note about the facilities: the place is small - just a trailer on an airfield. The plane is also small, fitting five people total (two jumpers, two instructors, and the pilot), and you sit on the floor of the plane. But honestly, that is all part of the experience. Ok, so skydiving has always been on my list of things to never try in life, right alongside sticking a fork in an electrical socket. I'm terrified of heights and don't get a whole lot of enjoyment out of massive adrenaline rushes, so I've never seen a point to jumps. My friend has been trying to get me to go (he's a big thrill seeker) and I sort of lost a bet to him and had to do this. I was very much dreading the experience. When we got there, the staff was very professional and helpful. They explained everything well and got us suited up and ready to fly pretty quickly. It gave me some measure of confidence knowing that both of our instructors had jumped literally thousands of times and knew what they were doing. I kept reminding myself that I wasn't actually in any real danger and it was just a mental thing. The jump itself wasn't too bad. The worst part was when my instructor opened the door and had me stick my feet out. I wasn't as terrified as I expected I would be, but it still wasn't easy. After 2-3 seconds of being out of the plane, I was ok. Being so high up, it doesn't look or feel like you're falling, so I was somewhat desensitized to the height. The ride down was uneventful and we made a soft landing. I think I had fun, but it's hard to sort out all of the different emotions I was feeling throughout the experience. My only regret/suggestion is that I wore light colored shorts. You land in the grass, so I got light grass stains on my shorts. I recommend wearing a darker color. Overall, this was a good experience. I've written entirely from the perspective of someone facing their fears, rather than a thrill seeker. As I mentioned, I don't get a lot of enjoyment out of adrenaline, which is why my review doesn't really describe the jump in those terms. My friend I jumped with is a thrill seeker and he thoroughly enjoyed it. What I wanted out of Boston Skydiving Center was a safe way to face this challenge and that's exactly what I got. Bottom line: whether you're a thrill seeker like my friend or just trying to face your fears like me, Boston Skydiving Center is the perfect company for skydiving and I highly recommend them. read more
