Instead of four short flights, he combined them into three longer flights, which made the experience even better. They were also running a great holiday deal, which was a nice bonus. Not sure who the hell came up with this, but it's pretty cool. Forget about the rotating fan of death below you, and you can fly. Came here as I had gotten a gift certificate. Did a regular flight, which they prep you well for. My instructor was awesome, as was the fan operator/MC. I didn't completely suck at it, however I also was not zooming around in there. It was actually a little bit of a workout which was surprising. Games located in the waiting area were a rip off, including the weakest claw machine I've ever seen. I paid for 4 minutes. First 2 minute session was spent on the floor. Instructor was attempting to show me something maybe about my arms - who knows - but half the time I literally couldn't see his face as he wasn't positioned at my eye level. No idea whatsoever what he was trying to communicate to me. After, I asked about being on the floor and he said he was trying to get me acclimated and that I was rolling. But no instruction as to what I may have been doing wrong to correct for the next session. Second 2 minute session, I was maybe 30-40% in the air then back on the floor again with the instructor again trying to show me something. Again, no idea whatsoever what he was trying to communicate to me. The very little flight time I did get which was the high flight, was fine. I watched well over a dozen others before and after me, none of which were on the floor. No idea what the issue was but this was certainly not a pleasant or worthwhile experience. I understand the noise in the wind tunnel is too loud to verbally communicate. But either figure out a way to incorporate communication into your helmets or, at the very least, have the instructor bring the customer out to explain and restart the session. read more

We went yeaterday and had an awesome time!! Even though it is mostly preparation, that one minute experience is worth it!! I was gifted this experience for my birthday. There was a short class before the actual flight which gave us info. on certain cues to be aware of when in flight. The cues may be good to know but they weren't used at all. During your flying experience the instructor will turn your body to a screen operated but someone who will give you directions on whether you need to lift your chin up, straighten up your legs etc. Overall the instructor was informative and friendly. Would definitely do this again. Came here on a Monday with Pogibear. Our appointment was at 1 but we were there at 12:45 because I read that there usually is a long wait. They checked us in right away and was taken inside. Our instructor then handed us the suit and gave us lockers for our stuff. When we were ready, we then went to a small room where the instructor taught us different hand signals to communicate while in the wind tunnel. The video we watched was pretty short and straightforward. They then took us back outside to get fully geared with helmets and earplugs. This was our first time doing indoor skydiving but we both skydived outside before. Everyone gets two one minute flight time while in the wind tunnel. We paid extra to get the "High Flight" which let us go higher on the wind tunnel for the last 20 seconds of the second flight. They let us take turns so we were able to take videos and pictures with our phones. While I was in the tunnel, the instructor was great and helpful. Glad that we had a pro with us during this which made the experience both safe and exciting. After everyone finish with their flight, our instructor put on a show to end out session. read more

A little pricey?... yes Long wait?... yes Only a few minutes?... yes Is it Worth it?... HELL YEAH!! Five days ago I came that much closer to checking something off of my MUST DO list. I would like to go skydiving and birthday celebrations are a big deal for me, so its natural to want to combine the two. However, skydiving in NY in February is not an option.... So the next best thing until I get the opportunity was iFLY Indoor Skydiving. Let's be clear at no time did this feel like a substitution. Yes, it's not the real thing but dang-it, it was SOOO much darn fun!!! I came two days prior hoping to be a walking-in, not an option since the kiddies were on school break so they were all booked. No problem we made our reservation for Thursday @ 6pm and filled out our waivers in advance. When the day came we were early, so we grabbed a couple of drinks at a Happy Hour up the hill then we were ready to FLY. We arrived and I'll be honest we waited a bit before our time slot was called. Once we were called JACK, who has to be the BEST DARN INSTRUCTOR by far, lead us to watch a 4min safety video. Gave a demonstrations and then walked us thru the steps of getting suited. Then we were all ready to go and GO WE DID! Quick flights yes, but they're exhilarating and just plain ole Fun. For my 2nd flight, I did the high flight, since it was a celebration and all! The high flight was the best part and it's a definite must! My friend was scared and says every year for my birthday I try to kill her w/ the adventures I pick but she's still my ride or die. Guess what, we haven't died and she always ends up having fun. Most important she had just as much fun as I did. We both purchased additional flights to return and do it all again. DO NOT GET ROPED INTO BUYING THE "DISCOUNTED RETURN FLIGHT VOUCHER" I'd like to say this review is solely on the horrible voucher policies. I took my son back in April. He had a great time. He said he wanted to do it again. The flight instructor mentioned a discount on vouchers if purchased at that time. I purchased a 4 flight return voucher that i was told AFTER purchase that it can only be used on a single flight. Not four separate ones. Then i tried to redeem the voucher online. For Saturday availability you must call. I call and state I'd like to redeem this 4 flight voucher plus purchase an additional. (Ps. I checked online. FULL OF FREE TIME SLOTS). I'm told there's NO SATURDAY AVAILABILITY. I state to the representative that i just saw online that there's plenty of slots. I'm told there's first time flyer time slots and only ONE spot for a 2 flight return. I say ok... ILL TAKE THE LOSS AND SCHEDULE ME FOR A TWO FLIGHT RETURN (losing out on 2 flights i paid for). Her response: you aren't allowed to downgrade. What?! Lol i say ok so i can't downgrade. I can't book Saturday. Can i get a refund? Gets better..no refunds either. Wow. So i have a 4 flight voucher that i have no clue when I'll be able to use and i had to purchase two new flights for a Saturday. Need something to do for fun.....COME HERE! From up north (Meadownlands area) took literally close to 30 minutes....so worth it and theres a plus...lots of stores to shop at afterwards. So what to expect? 1. Make Reservations 2. Sign the waiver ahead of time before you get there 3. Long hair? Tie it back 4. Wear sneakers and comfy clothes 5. I suggest to eat a few hours beforehand 6. Parking is great 7. Best tip.... They offer an iFly package at Costco 8. Kids do it too!! I saw them as young as 10yrs 9. They have photo and package deals 10. Training is conducted right before you fly. Very important to remember how your body is positioned. Such as CHIN UP...when to bend legs or straighten out.....you will learn all this....just remember to relax. 11. If you come for a regular visit....you fly twice but on your 2nd try you can opt to spin but of course its an extra cost. 12. Each flying time was 60 seconds. 13. No phone in the flying area. 14. They offer lockers for free. I've been tandem skydiving and the one thing I felt was similar was the rush of air when the plane (or door in this case) first opened. Great time!!! My daughter took me there for Mother's day. What a great experience this was my first time an I'm 75 years old. Went up 22 feet first time, second time stayed close to the ground. My instructor Paul was great.The wait was not long only about 1/2 hour you put your items in the locker put on your flight suit get a couple of minutes of sign langues ask any questions then you are ready to fly.We had a party of 6 all first timers my grand children even went. If you're a first timer like I was, then you'll be required to show up one hour before your flight time to watch a video, get some instructions, and get gear. The staff was very friendly and professional. I spoke with the front desk and was told the instructors are all tandem/skydive instructors. Don't expect to do much if it's your first time as you'll be learning the basic plank. I thought the parking lot was very small, I didn't count but perhaps two dozen spots? Overall I would go again, if you are thinking about it, Just Do It. Everything is controlled down to the wind speed in the tunnel. Celebrated my husband's birthday here and I must admit it was a great experience. This was our first time flying so it was a bit more expensive than returning flyers. We paid a total of 199 for 2 fly experiences. For the jumps we were charged 179 which would include 2 mins of flying time, and and extra $10 per person to something called high flight which is basically flying maybe 20 ft high as opposed to the normal 5 feet range. Each jump last a minute and while exhilarating it can be considered a bit expensive. I recommend buying gift cards from Costco to help with cost. I believe Costco sells an 100 gift card for 69.99. Would I go back? Yes! but only using gift cards from Costco. Also would love to mention the staff deserves 5 stars. They were amazing! read more

Love the facility. Me and a group of 5 of my close friends had a wonderful time. The parking lot is a good size. It's extremely fun/ relaxing and the crew members are lovely and welcoming and make sure you feel safe. I had a little problem since one of my friends back out last min and they where about to adjust the problem once I got there. We all took photos and videos.. Great experience highly recommend but it's important you get their an hour before just so you don't have to rush and so that you be able to watch the clip and be familiar with what you be doing. Please do the "high fly". It's the only way you will really feel like you're flying. The "regular" fly looks and feels like a massive fan is blowing winds of 200MPH at you. I skydive and came here to practice in the tunnel when I was an AFF student and good god was it a boat load of fun. Rudy is an excellent instructor and overall a very skilled flyer. I passed all of my AFF jumps after that training with flying colors. The facility is clean and it's an overall very welcoming and friendly environment. They enjoyed their flight, and I enjoyed watching them. I have never laughed so hard! According to my daughter, flying is not as easy as it looks. I made an appointment for a group of 4 and before the actual "flying" you have to watch a mini movie of the rules and the key way to communicate with the instructor when you are "flying" its a good video no more than 40 mits ! Thank god! Because i don't have time for that! So, we only got like two minutes "flying" and each went twice. It is pricey for such a short amount of time. The instructors provided excellent service though. Also the other staff as well. I wish the time we get "flying" be a bit more longer.
