Nice date idea or family fun activity. We got VIP tickets. It comes with a drink and the private pod. It's air-conditioned. Very comfortable seatings. The chair spins 360. Up to 6 people in the pod. You can connect your own phone thru Bluetooth to play music. Half hour ride and you can see New York view and New Jersey view. There is a waiting section for VIP pass because there is only one pod for VIP.

What an interesting experience. Stay clear if you're afraid of heights. It cost 25 per ticket. We did the Dream Wheel at night time and the view was wonderful. We had the whole cart by ourself. Didn't really know what to expect. The rotation was about half an hour long. They played some music so it was pretty interesting. Doing it once is more than enough.

We did the ferris wheel ride while checking out American Dream. Despite it being a weekend night, it wasn't crowded so we got two GA tickets for the 20 minute ride. That night, we got the cabin - which fits 16 people - to ourselves. So it's not like a real ferris wheel because you are so removed from the outside elements in a temperature-controlled cabin that is totally soundproof (being next to Route 3 and the Turnpike, it needs to be) that moves extremely slow and only one revolution. Despite this, it's still a neat experience with views you wouldn't see elsewhere, and you do see city skylines. Glad we checked it out and rode at least once to see what's up. I'd come back if I were showing people from out of town who are visiting NYC and were already at AD for shopping.

A little pricey for what it is but it's worth it to do it at least once. You can pay extra for a private pod or pay the regular price but you might have to share a pod with another party. The views are amazing especially at the top looking into New York City.

This is the "ferris wheel" at the American Dream mall. In actuality, it is more like a circular tram. The compartments are small, rectangular enclosures. It is located outdoors and is on top of the mall. As a result, because of the mall's proximity to New York City, you get great views of the city's skyline. This attraction is a bit of a ripoff though. It costs $32 and this admission is only for one rotation of the wheel. The wheel rotates slowly so this one rotation is a 20 minute ride.

We went with our niece and nephew for his birthday. There was no line and no crowd. We were forced to ride with another family none-the-less. The operator said no other options unless we paid VIP. Literally every other cab was empty. Why force us to spend time with a random family ? The views of NYC were cool but punctuated by another person's kids bickering over bottled water for 26 minutes. I would tell American Dream Mall the same thing the random dad told his kids: "get it together!"

Brought my mother and wife here for a late Mother's Day celebration. The staff were super polite and fun to talk with, the price for a general admission will get you a normal cabin with seating in the middle and the VIP gets you a cabin with leather seats IIRC. The views were amazing and I would recommend timing it out about 20-25 minutes before sunset because you'll reach the top in about 12 minutes leading to amazing photos. Great experience overall.

So much fun, I did it twice! The first experience, I opted for the VIP gondola with my friend and her daughter. At $55, the price is a bit steep. However, it was just so awesome! You get a free drink as a VIP, and the staff treats you like royalty. Literally the kindest staff. Felt so special. They took us straight to the VIP car, felt like I was being escorted to a stretch limo. We got some fried Oreos for the ride and sat down to enjoy the views. Crystal clear skies, great lighting for selfies. The ride is a little less than 30 minutes. I feel like it took 23 minutes total. So again, $55 is a bit much, but if you know how to connect your phone to the bluetooth, have a bunch of friends, it's totally worth it. Great 360 degree swivel seats. Cup holders. Just a fun time. MY ONLY ISSUE: The website advertises the VIP gondola as having GLASS BOTTOM FLOOR. There is NO glass bottom floor. It's regular floor. So I was a bit confused as to why that is advertised. Other than that, great time. Went again today to experience the regular gondola. Also awesome. Also great service. $24 as a Bergen County resident. Just a simple little stump seat in the middle for the regular car. Same view though. Same air conditioned car. Simply wonderful!

We were a group of 10 (children and adults). Each cart is enclosed and holds up to 16 people, but 16 people do not have a seat. Each cart has a bench in the middle that I believe could hold 8 people. 10 people if you include children sitting on an adult lap. The sunset view was pretty. It took about 25-30 minutes in its entirety from start the finish. This is something I did once and wouldn't do it again. I would suggest going with people you like so you can have conversation for 30 minutes because other than that..the cart had no type of music. It was a good experience.

What a great addition to the AD mall! With more and more to choose from this attraction didn't disappoint. Unlike smaller ferris wheels, Thai one felt totally stable r even with some wind that we had that day. The cabins/gondolas wee large and clean. It was easy to get on/off with assistance from the staff. They explained how it would feel and showed us the emergency button (just in case). The views were amazing at sunset. I'm sure that at night it would look even more spectacular. 20-25 minutes to go once around was enough for us. You can pay in person or in line. If you want the discount for residents of Bergen/Hudson counties, you have to do it in person. There is a discount for seniors as well. Enjoy!

Amazing city views! Must be even better at night and at sunset which we plan on doing next time.

So they have 3 types of tickets, I would recommend VIP or Gold, a little expensive, but worth it.

Thomas the train ride tour was also really fun. They also had rides for big kids as well. These included the shredder, slime fest, Dora the Explorer Sky Coaster. and the Avatar Airbender spinning coaster. My daughter and I went on these multiple times and she had a really good time. Everything is super clean, bright, and colorful. It really feels like stepping into your favorite Nickelodeon shows. The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful, constantly high-fiving the kids and making sure everyone was having a great time. Wait times were reasonable save for a few specific popular rides. We spent the whole day there and never got bored. The food options in the park and the surrounding American Dream Mall are great as well. If you have kids who love Nickelodeon (or even if you just want to feel like a kid again), this place is a must-visit. To quote my kids. "10 out of 10!"

The layout and theming of the park is pretty cool. I've never been to an indoor amusement park so this was definitely an experience. I'm also a fan of all the old (and new-ish) Nickelodeon shows. I loved the Rugrats! I do appreciate that you can walk around and not have to purchase a ticket. My kids had wristbands and I didn't have to pay for myself. That's definitely a huge plus. There are a good amount of rides. A nice area for littles, and some bigger coasters as well. My 9 year old was able to get on a lot of rides, but I feel like my 7 year old felt a little lost. He was too big for the little rides, but too tiny for many of the older rides so I don't think he had as much of a good time. The jellyfish swings were fun and they really liked the slimer roller coaster. My daughter looooved the shredder ride. She also enjoyed the Fairly Oddparents surfboard (skateboard?) ride but after a few rides she started to get nauseous. If you suffer from motion sickness you may want to take it easy at this park. It seems like EVERY ride spins, or has a spinning component. She had to tap out after too much spinning. Overall, the park is fun and interesting to walk around. Personally, my anxiety couldn't take it as the attendants buckled my kids in and I constantly needed to make sure they were doing it correctly. haha.

I bought a Groupon deal for 2 people to 6 Flags with transportation. It seemed like a good deal until AFTER buying the Groupon, the company asks me to pay $29.43 in taxes directly to them. They then canceled the trip due to weather a whole week before the trip was scheduled for. I could not make the alternate date so I asked for a refund. I jumped through a few hoops before Groupon refunded me and then I spoke to JOMAR SMART at 646-327-7545 who promised I would see the taxes refunded within a few days. After not seeing a refund after a week, he has since been ignoring my daily calls for two weeks since. I filed a dispute with my CC company but it is not likely it will get resolved if these people went AWOL. This is a scam artist taking of with people's "taxes". It's pretty much criminal.

Being that it was a good deal I convinced my sister and mother to purchase the deal as well so that we could have one last family outing as the summer was whining down. I contacted the vendor ( Activity Bus) on Friday September 18th 2015 to make arrangements for my outing. The vendor communicated what theme parks he would be servicing and what dates were available. We agreed on Hershey Park on Sunday October 11th, leaving from Downtown Brooklyn at the Barclay's Center. We communicated to Mr. Smart that we are a family of 10 and he assured us that he could accommodate us. On Thursday September 24, 2015 I contacted Mr. Smart to inform him that it was brought to my attention by my niece that Hershey Park was closed that weekend. Which is something I would accept the vendor/organizer to know prior to making arrangements. I contacted Mr. Smart via text and phone call leaving a voice mail and received no response. In the texts that I sent I asked Mr. Smart to please provide further information and plan details. on Friday September 25, 2015 at approximately 8pm I was able to speak with someone a woman that answered Mr. Smart's phone, who was polite and helpful who offered Great Adventure as an alternate. That was fine and we agreed on Great Adventure for Sunday October 11, 2015 for my family of 10. I communicated with the woman once again on Thursday October 1, 2015 as i needed to change one of my participants to which she was accommodating. I also at that time asked the woman for the details of the trip i.e. what time the bus would be leaving to and from the park, what could li bring onto the bus the usual stuff and was told that i would be contacted three days prior to the trip with all the details which I was okay with. On Friday October 9th 2015, I contacted Mr. Smart via email asking if he could please provide me with the details with Sundays trip to Great Adventure. NO RESPONSE. On Saturday October 10, 2015 I contacted Mr. Smart leaving messages on his phone NO RESPONSE. Finally someone answered the phone and told my sister the details of the trip and where we needed to meet the bus. We were all set and excited for our family day or so we thought. At exactly 1:57 am on Sunday October 11, 2015 we received a text from Mr. Smart stating that the trip had been cancelled due to a on going dispute with GROUPON and ill activity from participants. And that we needed to contact GROUPON for our refunds. Let me say this first of all they were not disputing till 1:57am. They could have contacted families from earlier during the day. What they did and how they did it was completely and utterly unprofessional. There were a series of red flags with this vendor but we tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and support a local up and coming business. To make matter worse when we contacted GROUPON they themselves had no record of any disputes with the vendor. GROUPON did in fact refund what was paid to them however the so called taxes that were paid directly to the vendor has yet to be refunded and of course no one is answering calls or voicemail's. This has been the worst experience this vendor is unprofessional, and unreliable and does not deserve anyone's business.I there was away to give negative stars that is exactly what I would give them. Extremely Disappointed in Crown Heights Brooklyn!!!!!!!!!
