It's definitely not my first time at American Dream, but most recently, on Saturday, August 1 and Sunday, August 2, 2026 , I visited American Dream since I was attending BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG' at MetLife Stadium. There is an enclosed pedestrian bridge that connects the mall directly to MetLife which made it very convenient to go back and forth. My first stop at American Dream was The Rink @ The Arena to pick up my pre-ordered merchandise on Weverse Shop. There were signs indicating which way to go. The process was very smooth and easy. During the weekend, Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) brought "Your Korea Starts Here" to American Dream 11:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. (both days) for free. It was an immersive K-Tourism roadshow featuring traditional Korean music and dance performances, K-Pop performances and Random Play Dance, K-Pop quizzes, dance challenges, and audience participation, Korean food and K-Beauty experiences, interactive cultural exhibits and photo experience, commemorative event charm collection, Korea travel information and destination inspiration, promotional giveaways and prizes hosted by partner organizations at American Dream Court A. Attendees who register on-site will also be eligible to enter a drawing for a round-trip flight between Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) and Seoul (ICN). The event showcases both Korea's rich traditions and contemporary lifestyle, learning about Korea's culture, tourism, and lifestyle into a celebration of Korean culture, travel, food, beauty, and entertainment to experience Korea firsthand while discovering why it has become one of the world's most dynamic travel destinations. The "Your Korea Starts Here" event was so much fun and everyone was very friendly. I really enjoyed meeting other people and the vendors. On August 1, 2026, the American Dream Mall also hosted The Hambletonian Show inside The Garden Court. I had the opportunity to meet Aiden & Pearl, friendly ponies from the organization HorseAbility. Besides checking out the events, I also walked around and checked out a few stores. There are plenty of seating options around. Anytime I go to American Dream, it is always a treat and I look forward to my next visit.

IT was a very hot August day and waiting for that bus in the sweltering, covered and poorly ventilated (massive), crowded parking garage ruined the experience. The mall itself was PACKED (it was a Saturday afternoon) and I can find many of these stores near my home. Unimpressed. Mall of America-ish. A few higher end stores - which was good. Give it 3 years and they will be GIVING the spaces away. Malls are dying. Stay home! American. Nightmare.

Playground is not very well lit, well the overall interior looks dark really. Good lighting should be considered especially since there are smaller kids. The restrooms are well kept during our visit however which was good. And there are timely appearances of characters. We were let down around 10:55am and let into the water area promptly at 11am. We easily got three seats right in front of the wave pool. We had myself and a 36" tall kid and a 48" tall kid. 48" could ride all water slides. The 36" year old was relegated to the kiddie slides in the Kung Fu Panda area and the Arctic Zone slides but she still had a blast. The highlight was probably the hot tub. The kids loved that they could go in too-we made several visits throughout the day. The lazy river was also fun but the kids preferred no tube. There are two paths and one is less lazy than the other. The wave pool was fun without a tube and, actually, most people didn't have one. My youngest loved the dance party with King Julian from Madagascar. The Arctic zone has 6ish slides for 36"+. The Kung Fu Panda area has 5-6 slides also 36"+. We also spent some time in the Gabby's Dollhouse splash pad. This is for the VERY youngest guests. My 7 year old went on some 48"+ slides right next door and my 4 year old was done in 15 minutes. We also had lunch at the burger shack and it was decent for an amusement park burger and hot dog. We also secured a locker but could have in retrospect kept everything at the towels as long as I kept my bank cards/phone in my watertight case. Park is only opened for certain hours of the day. If you show up as soon as they open, you'll wait in a huge line waiting to get in. Those who reserved skyboxes check in and wait for a staff member to bring you to the skybox, which gets complicated because they're stopped every couple of feet to get asked questions by other people. Idk if it's cuz we went in the middle of a heatwave, but our skybox was HOT AF. I mean no AC and the heat from the pool + the glass windows, it was a total greenhouse effect. You're sweating the minute you walk in, your kids are hot, youre hot- you can imagine the frustration building up to dropping your things off and going straight to the water. We immediately hit the wave pool and with a one year old, the skybox isn't the best when they need to nap and you don't have anything to keep them comfortable, other than the wagon we came with. The waterpark itself was surprisingly clean. I was expecting the strong chlorine smell but shockingly, there wasn't any. A LOT of people but didn't feel like I was crowded over unless you're in the lazy river. We stayed the whole day but I went out with my 1 year old so we can get some AC and air. I would keep in mind that if you're getting the skybox suite, this would be best in the fall/winter time. The skybox was clean-ish but I know it's anything but. They have cushioned furniture and who knows how often that gets cleaned, our soap dispenser wasn't working, and our fridge just water and a few cans of ginger ale. You can request to have it refilled but we really weren't trying to stay In the room for long. I would come back but only for a special occasion. Definitely bring water shoes cuz you can bust your ass on the floor here. Water shoes and towels are available for purchase but def bring your own to save money.

We got the gold pass which is 30$ compared to the economy which is 24$, but when it's not busy, I recommend economy since we were the only ones there and that defeated the purpose of a private ride.
