We were so lucky he was able to squeeze us in on a weekend about two weeks out. I tried to make sure I had everything he might need prior to our appointment. In addition to the Starlink satellite, I had purchased a mount, a longer cable, and cable routing kit, as well as a few Eero routers. Bret educated me on which items would work well and which wouldn't and took the time to explain why. Luckily he carries with him any parts you may need and doesn't overcharge for them either. I was able to return everything that wasn't used and actually saved on my equipment costs. He installed the Starlink satellite and helped us set up the Eero routers. He also asked us to test the connection and was more than happy to answer all of my questions. He was on-time and easy to communicate with, I highly recommend calling him if you need satellite installation. Excellent!

I call the number on their website, and press 1 for sales. The automated system tells me there are zero callers ahead of me, yet I wait for 15 minutes before someone answers and says "hello?"....I'm like, is this remotely located? He's says yeah lol. So I proceed to ask a couple questions about their plans and the employee doesn't say anything. I ask if he's still there and he says yeah give me a second. I'm like ok. 5 minutes of silence. I say what's taking so long? He says he has to pull up a system that he only has partial access to. I'm like ok I'm just asking questions about your plans. He says I need to speak to billing?? While we're on the call, I get another call from remotely located, which I missed because I was on the phone with them already. I ask the employee if I should hang up and call the number back and he says yes (I'm sure he was very happy to not have to deal with my two questions lol). So I call the number back, only to be routed through the same automated system, and press 1 for sales again. This time I get a different employee with the same silent, confused attitude. I then just start asking what is going on, is this sales? She says no, it's technical support. I tell her I pressed one for sales. She is silent. I ask if she is still there. She says yes. I said ok you can't answer my questions, fine, can you please just have someone get back to me who can? And to please not call me from the automated system number because I just get sent to people who seem like they have never even heard of remotely located but for some reason don't want to tell me that. We will see what happens next lol hopefully someone will just call me and answer some basic questions about what they offer. Update: got a weird message from a person with an accent so heavy, I could not understand him. He called me from the same call center number, so when I called back, I was again routed to the "sales" department and spoke to another confused employee who told me the "billing manager" would call me.....a billing manager needs to call me just to answer some questions about their coverage area? This is wild, I don't know why this company is so secretive, and why have a sales department if they can't tell you anything? Also, I asked about whether they have a physical location and was told, "you can see the website right?" Lololol sooo they don't even know their own company's location? During the six weeks we had them as our provider we had down time with no service for 5-6 hours daily between 9 am and 6 pm on average on most days. I kept a log of how many times I called for technical help; it was 22 times in six weeks! The on call technician always told me that they showed no problem on their end but someone would call me back to further investigate. Only once was I called back and they were unable to provide us with a connection. Too much frustration for a household with kids trying to do homework and people just trying to rely on a consistent service. It was a happy day when I cancelled. We ended up going with Starlink for less money and have had zero issues since.
