The fish was well prepared and cooked just right. You have to scan the QR code for the menu but they did have some paper menus though the server said the menu on line gave more details. The bread came out piping hot. My husband's conger came with very thin slices of fried potatoes that were quite tasty.

Absolutely loved this restaurant, the service was quick, food was flavorful and delicious and the creme brûlée with the latte was incredible i will definitely be returning.

3 meat and 3 cheese empanadas... Could not wait to taste a few before picture

Empanadas are a must. Delicate meat and or cheese filled with a delicate crust to die for. Service was in English with an English menu. Great location seated inside or outside seeping on wine and enjoying the city evening!

This was an incredible experience our Spanish is very limited but the editor was so friendly, they gave us a menu in English and you can scan a QR code that shows you pictures of every dish. Everything was phenomenal! Definitely recommend trying the Pisco sour.

Loved the chorrilanna! Beef is super tender. The service and environment are good. Highly recommend!

Pastel de choclo - Chilean shepherds pie.

I enjoyed every bite of this place. Not a lot of English spoken here and the menu doesn't explain what each dish is. Use their website menu for pics and it's easy enough. I had the pastel de choclo (Chilean shepherd's pie) which is awesome and the empanada's, of which I like the beef better than the cheese.

Empanadas (so good)

We love this place and my son asked if we could come back again. First off, the empanadas were delicious and I only got to eat 1.5 of them bc my son took them all and put them on his plate! The pizza on focaccia bread was good too. Daughter asked for fries which we kept stealing so all in all, it was good. We will be coming back to try out the rest of the menu. Service was great. When we walked in, a gentleman can see we spoke English and told us to wait for his daughter who could speak English. She was very nice and sat us outside but seeing it was chilly, she asked if we preferred inside. We sat by the cafe which was nice. We started with a glass of champagne and beer. The gentleman's other daughter working the cafe, came over to us to help us out. She was very nice and we had a great time talking to her. She told us about the history of the cafe and I'm so glad we stopped by! It's one of the oldest restaurant in town and I loved that the entire family was working there. Beautiful family and great service. I highly recommend this place as it was so welcoming and the food was delicious!

We just went to Confiteria Torres tonight for dinner while we are in Santiago for one day - it was fantastic, if you are in the area and looking for a great dinner, just go here. Some details: - we don't speak any Spanish and they were super kind. Three owners daughter canned over and helped us, recommended two Chilean meals that we could not decide which we liked better - the menus is great, lot of options and pictures for almost everything. Three portion sizes are perfect - not "American large", you could actually get and split some which would bee a great way to try multiple things - options for anybody's taste - pasta, meat, seafood, etc - staff was incredibly nice, setting is great. It is the oldest restaurant in Santiago - we both ate dinners, splitter a dessert, had a bottle of wine, and they were so nice with us as we stumbled through ordering that we doubled the tip and it was still only $60. Don't overthink your dinner choice, just go here. You will love it

Excellent place with great traditional dishes. Can't recall the names of the dishes but nonetheless everything was fantastic. Clean, cool vibes, attentive service and fresh local brew on tap.

Filet marinated in olive oil and cilantro and served with a type of corn soufflé - delicious!

Highly recommend! The best steak I have had in South America! Terrific empanadas also which we had as a starter. The area where this is located is lovely also.

If you go to Santiago and miss out on this place you are not paying attention!! The service is just as great as the food! The menu is just a QR code away and all items have an image. You can't miss!!

A must stop when in Santiago not only is it one of the eldest running restaurants (1879) currently run by Family Soto , it's very good Chilean local food on the extensive menu. Ask for Oswald he gave us excellent food suggestions for local food like the choclo pastel and the helado harina tostada! Today is Easter a holiday yet the owner made time to stop at each table to say hello. I really enjoy the background music too!

Ask a local about what, besides just the food, makes this place so cool! A famous Chilean regular and his favorite dish!

The meal started well with friendly service and the Salmon tartare cones. They were delicious! The tables on the patio are wonderful. We ordered the salmon and the Sea Bass. I was particularly looking forward to having Chilean Sea Bass while in Chile. Ironically the salmon was the hit and the Sea Bass was dry. Also, after we chose to order just a glass of wine each instead of a bottle, our waiter abandoned us. He stopped checking on us and we had to ask for the check (albeit typical in Chile) after quite a long wait. Please note this isn't a bad restaurant, it's just not consistently great for a 5 star hotel. There are many options for good dining in Santiago, this one is average for fine dining.

Incredible experience!…read more We were hoping for the opportunity to try a good Chilean Sea Bass, but due to the season found ourselves indulging in the juices of the Patagonian lamb perfectly prepared with putee eggplant and a Carmanere wine glaze. Before we can even decide on an appetizer, we were greeted with freshly warm biscuits that were stuffed with caramelized onions and a cone of tuna Crudo (on the house!). Pro Tip: Request a taste of several wines, including the regional Carmanere (originating from France, but rediscovered in Chile). Camilo provided us with exceptional service and even surprised us with a parting gift! It was a pleasure getting to know him and hope to cross paths with him in the future.

Parque Arauco Mall SANTIAGO , CHILE…read more Just going over my notes from my last trip to Santiago and discovered my notation that I ate at Madam Tusan in January 2012. I am embarrassed to report that I do not remember what dish I ordered, but I did write in my notes that the food was EXCELLENT ! I do remember the meal because it was delicious, a fusion of Asian and Latin flavors. I plan to return and visit again in January 2015. My flight leaves tomorrow night for Santiago. Next time I will render a better report. I would highly recommend Madam Tusan as a fine place to dine. Sin embargo , espero que me entienden. ok...I am in Chile now, but in the city of La Serena, north of Santiago. The other day, when I was in Santiago I went to the PARQUE ARAUCO MALL. Then I saw it, the other Madam Tusan. I knew that I ate at Madam Tusan but did not remember where it waslocated. The address above at Av. Andres Bello was not the one I ate at, it was the one in PARQUE ARAUCO. Either way, the food there is excellent.. Of course there is parking in the Mall parking lot, for a small fee.

The traditional chile Rocoto sauce ( hope I spelt that correct) was out of the world ..had to order it twice ! BTW -the Chaufa ( Peruvian Chinese rice) though nicely done is not different from Any fried rice at a chinese restaurant .
