Blur, Morrissey, Supergrass, Radiohead, Molotov, Nat King Cole, Blur, The Cars, Talking Heads, The Go-Gos, Weezer, Soundgarden, other stuff from the mid 90's and a bunch off other cool weird shit my uncles used to listen to churning in the background while you experience an antique European influenced Chilean cuisine with a top notch staff. The food is heaven and the pisco flows like wine. Excuse me while I order another sour. Salud.

This restaurant was recommended by our tour guide, he said that they have many wines by the glass and they make great cocktails that are budget friendly. We were greeted immediately as we walked in the door and the vibe transferred me back to the great Gatsby area. The restaurant was beautifully decorated, wine bottles for days displayed at the bar and they really do use the ladder! You can feel the intimate conversations and move with the laughters that fill this restaurant. We first sat at the high tops that were in the bar area, very uncomfortable! But couldn't be picky as we were only going to have a drink but ended up having a 4 hour enjoyment of wine and lite bites. They use a proper decanter, I would think so as we are in a wine city. Started with a cheese plate which ran about $16 and then I had a salad which was about $12, very good but it's a bit overpriced. I guess you can't have cheap drinks and food in a gorgeous ambience. I would definitely recommend anyone who is visiting Santiago to go to one of their locations! It's a must and very chill vibe.

Eclectic atmosphere and friendly servers. Seems to be a happy place for locals to patronize. They found us an English speaking server who was very sweet and patient. Hubby tried the Pisco Sour which was yummy, tasted like a hard lemonade served in a champagne glass. Good selection of wines by the glass. The food was just okay. Hubby had spicy beef which was terrible, but I have learned that beef is not the best choice in Santiago. I had the scallop special, not exactly what I am used to in the states as the scallops were served with the muscle attached. Kinda weird, but hey, we are in Chile! Tasted okay, but was smothered in cheese, so I guess that may have been a good thing to not see what I was eating. Overall, for the atmosphere, this place is a good stop over for a drink, not sure I would eat here again.

A large selection of vinos Chilenos.

A mandatory stop when I am in Santiago. Creative menu, broad wine selection, wonderful staff, and a great ambiance are all reasons that keep me coming back.

Extensive wine bar, I guess! They actually use the ladder, it's not just for show!

My friends had hake filet with salsa and the ossobuco with gnocchi and both were very good.

Everything we had was fantastic and the waiter and chef were very accommodating. Everything was great particularly the traditional menu items. The service was warm and friendly. Everything was very reasonably priced. We enjoyed sitting outside given we had just arrived from the US in early December. The plus here... most of the folks (other than us) seemed like neighborhood locals. When you're traveling, go where the locals go :) In fact we met the owner who was sitting at the table next to us with some German expats, which just added to the warmth and depth of our experience.

The meal started well with friendly service and the Salmon tartare cones. They were delicious! The tables on the patio are wonderful. We ordered the salmon and the Sea Bass. I was particularly looking forward to having Chilean Sea Bass while in Chile. Ironically the salmon was the hit and the Sea Bass was dry. Also, after we chose to order just a glass of wine each instead of a bottle, our waiter abandoned us. He stopped checking on us and we had to ask for the check (albeit typical in Chile) after quite a long wait. Please note this isn't a bad restaurant, it's just not consistently great for a 5 star hotel. There are many options for good dining in Santiago, this one is average for fine dining.

Incredible experience!…read more We were hoping for the opportunity to try a good Chilean Sea Bass, but due to the season found ourselves indulging in the juices of the Patagonian lamb perfectly prepared with putee eggplant and a Carmanere wine glaze. Before we can even decide on an appetizer, we were greeted with freshly warm biscuits that were stuffed with caramelized onions and a cone of tuna Crudo (on the house!). Pro Tip: Request a taste of several wines, including the regional Carmanere (originating from France, but rediscovered in Chile). Camilo provided us with exceptional service and even surprised us with a parting gift! It was a pleasure getting to know him and hope to cross paths with him in the future.

I am embarrassed to report that I do not remember what dish I ordered, but I did write in my notes that the food was EXCELLENT ! I do remember the meal because it was delicious, a fusion of Asian and Latin flavors. I plan to return and visit again in January 2015. My flight leaves tomorrow night for Santiago. Next time I will render a better report. I would highly recommend Madam Tusan as a fine place to dine. Sin embargo , espero que me entienden. ok...I am in Chile now, but in the city of La Serena, north of Santiago. The other day, when I was in Santiago I went to the PARQUE ARAUCO MALL. Then I saw it, the other Madam Tusan. I knew that I ate at Madam Tusan but did not remember where it waslocated. The address above at Av. Andres Bello was not the one I ate at, it was the one in PARQUE ARAUCO. Either way, the food there is excellent.. Of course there is parking in the Mall parking lot, for a small fee.
