Had my first coned pizza today at a wedding! Absolutely loved it! Served piping hot and easy to eat! I chose the cheese cone because I'm not a huge fan of pepperoni and it definitely didn't feel like it was missing a topping! Didn't need anything else. We had coned from the truck at the Ford Idaho center purely because, well, there weren't any other options. Talk about a pleasant surprise! I'm no stranger to pizza, and know what I like, what I don't and quality vs crap. This wasn't just "event food". The crust has flavor, they make really good sauce, use great toppings and that cheesy part at the very bottom is better than the chocolate hunk at the bottom of a drumstick. I had a cone pizza before they are great and a fun way to enjoy and eat a pizza. My daughter loves them. I saw they had a new cone it was an apple pie cone.. I thought well that sounds interesting and I mean who doesn't like apple pie right. So I order one. Apparently I was one of the first to order one who doesn't work at cone pizza. The guys didn't know exactly how to make one. They had to read up on it. They went to the back and a few few minutes later they came back out with the cone they added some wiped cream on too and wow la here was my apple pie cone. Looks good looks tasty... but does it taste tasty.. well I took a small try of the filling was great I took it home and when I was ready to eat it mhmm I was a bit disappointed because it was not What I actually expected. It was cold and didn't taste like it was cooked at all. So I put it in my air fryer and well it tasted way better warm or cooked lol. I added some more wiped cream and eat.
