I have used Condren Tree Service several times over the years. If you want a quality tree removal or trimming at a righteous price Condren is as good as they come. Hosea is the foreman and estimator, so flexibility for the estimate is necessary. He supervises the work and does most of the serious climbing for trimming. The service given to me over the years has been A+, always doing more than expected. The cleanup is meticulous. I recommend Condren without reservation. read more

Extremely rude, refused to set an appointment time for an estimate and expected us to wait around an entire day to see if the estimator would show up. Wouldn't even provide a window of time. When we stated that this was a poor way to run a business, the response was "That's how we do it and if you don't like it, you can go somewhere else". So, we did - as fast as possible. Like many other service businesses, they have more demand than they can handle. Sadly, they use this as an excuse to treat potential customers in a rude and dismissive manner. Had a really negative experience with Condren. I have used them for years, but they changed hands a couple of years ago and service has gone downhill. For years, we have hired them for 1-2 days a couple of times a year to clean up our trees. Jose comes out and we agree on the work and then they come, work hard, and do a good job. Until this year. I'm not sure what changed, but we had our pre-meeting where Jose met and we agreed to hire them for a day. 6 weeks later when the team showed up, I was told that they weren't going to work all day but that they were only going to do some of the work that we had discussed and they were still going to charge the same price. They worked about 5 hours and charged me the price that we had agreed-upon for 8 hours. In addition, they left branches lying at the base of many of the trees and actually left large (8-10') logs floating in my pond. This had never happened before. I called the owner and he just said that they no longer bid jobs by the day. He didn't apologize that this fact was sprung on me after my job had been bid for a day, for the branches being left on my property, or for the short amount of time that they were here. He just told me to go somewhere else if I didn't like them. I will definitely do that and will never use them again. read more

I've used Condren Tree Service for many years. I'm still pleased with their work. It's easy to get on their schedule for a quote and then schedule a date. They call before coming and the guys are really nice and polite. They will also verify what you want done - which is always important to me since I don't want the wrong thing cut down. They also ask about the sprinkler system lines before grinding down the stumps. read more

I submitted a Quote Request online and they got back to be the next day. A few days later, they came out and reviewed the work that I needed done. Their guy actually suggested something different due to an undesirable outcome, if we went with what I wanted. I still got want I wanted, just in a better way. Condren performed the work as asked, quickly and professionally. They cleaned up and left the place looking better than when they got there. About 1.5 hrs for the crew. I had an old Silver Maple trimmed back and dead wood removed, as well as two LARGE 30' crepe myrtles pruned WAY back. Looks amazing. Another competitor of theirs would not prune the Crepes the way I wanted them. They were also significantly more expensive. The only improvement suggestion that I have, is to perhaps "contract" and provide agreement details of the work that is being scheduled. I had a few conversations with Condren and knew what I was getting, based on expectations...but there is a level of trust that the work will be done as expected, without any documentation.
