Food presentation was neat and generous portions. I accept partial blame for the less than impressive taste. The freshly fried items steamed in their styrofoam containers on the long ride home. So the conch fritters were soft and gummy. The hard baked macaroni and cheese garnered a thumbs down from my young dining partner. The steamed cabbage was a good choice that I personally consumed. Counter service was responsive and included sauces, condiments and napkins. Restaurant's appearance was clean. read more

I have been excited to try Conch Heaven for a while. I finally ordered 3 entrees and an appetizer online. When I went to pickup the food, it wasn't ready and the lady looked at me confused when I gave her my name and said I was there for a pickup order. She then asked me if I ordered online and I told her I did. She proceeded to roll her eyes and tell me "that's why". She then told me that when you order online, they don't get notified so you need to call. But she spoke to me as if this was somehow my fault for ordering online and not calling in. As I said, the food was good, but I'm not sure if I'll give them my business again. If I do, it clearly won't be an online order. read more

Yesterday I went to this restaurant and ordered the comforters. I got the conch fritters and the conch salad, the food was freshly made and it had included a lot of conch in both orders. The server was very friendly and professional, a quiet atmosphere, very clean. I would return there again read more

I started with the cole slaw. It instantly rocketed to the top of my best slaws list. I eat cabbage in some form most days. I loved the seasoning combination. It was by far the best I have tasted, Next I tried the red beans and rice. Very flavorful - a must try. Now for the reason I chose this place, the conch. I have never had 'grilled' conch before. It was not what I was expecting as it was more like a soup. I pushed past my preconceived ideas and gave it a try. I was not disappointed with the flavor and textures. Incredible. My only disappointment with Conch Heaven was that I found it on my last day here. I will come back again and again on subsequent trips to the area. thank you for the wonderful experience. read more

I'm the last person to post a Yelp. But, I've given this place too many chances. I place an order for 3 fish fingers and French fries, and the miserable lady on food responded and said limes cost money. Horrible customer service. I'be worked in hospitality 25 plus years and this was the worse. if that was one of my employees I would have fired her on the spot. I was embarrassed as customer and Bahamian. Nobody wants to hear the news. Put in some down home music. Looks like they was more worried about setting up for Easter than taking care the customers. read more

Drove out of my way to try this food and clearly the hours that's posted is incorrect. Place was closed. So disappointed

The conch was tender season just right. The stew fish was awesome. The people were nice.

Let's just say, I KNOWwww a thing or two about a good ass conch fritter! My in laws were bahamians and they fix a mean fritter! I read the reviews before coming here and they seem to be all over the place. To play it safe, I ordered the reasonably priced conch fritters; 6 for $5 and they have 12 for $8. I chose the $5 just to sample the goods. And whoa....my God! What freaking GOODNESS theses little crunchy golden babies are!! Before I knew it, they were gone like the wind as in poof, puff be gone, GONE! ! I literally wondered what the hell happened to them that quickly. Surely, there must be a little greedy invisible gremlin in my car! I called back with a disguised voice, to order 12 this time (ok...don't judge me:-) but lawd.... have mercy, the fritters are absolutely delicious. Good enough to return the same day. I, ate the 12 the next day and they were just as good the day before. Key is, place them in the air fryer and not the microwave. I can't wait to return! read more

Really good Bahamian food. They give you great portions for what you pay for and I like how you get 3 sides when ordering a dinner. Good Mac, fritters were perfect. The conch salad was also good too. Definitely stop by this spot! read more

Cracked conch was very good. The jerk chicken didn't taste fresh or had much meat on the pieces however. We didn't expect them to mess up on the chicken. Both meals were over $40 so it was pretty expensive for a takeout place. Will only return for the conch. read more

What a HUGE disappointment. They have an online system that apparently no one uses. I placed an order and showed up 30 minutes later only to be told that they do not receive the orders that are placed online; yet, you accept payments online. And then to be told that I must wait 2-3 days to be refunded for my order that (a) you did not fulfill and (b) you had no idea that it was even placed. It's little nuances like this that keeps your business from thriving. read more

I really wanted love conch heaven, at the same time it was just ok. I had an order of the conch fritters and Johnny cake. Conch fritters come as small little balls, price as of today is (6) for $7, or (12) for $13. They were flavored nicely, and cooked perfectly.. Only problem is the amount of conch in each conch fritter. You get 1-2 little bits of conch per fritter, which is ridiculous. Conch fritters should have more CONCH than batter. So for that reason alone it's not worth the price to me. If you enjoy less conch in a fritter, then this one is Perfect! Now the Johnny cake wasn't all that either. It was $2.50, and I wasted it because I've had better from End Zone in Hollywood. I understand the cost of food has gone up everywhere, but when I saw an order of cracked conch by itself was $16 for a small container, I said no thanks. Overall food was ok read more

Food wasn't seasoned. Conch salad was very unpleasantly taste. Very unhappy with the quality of the food over all

I was craving some Bahamian food for some reason, guess I was missing home. Couldn't find some fresh conch to make some fritters, so I figured the next best thing was to make a stop by Conch Heaven for my fix...I ain't gonna lie but they fritters always on point...tried the fry chicken today with peas n rice, potato salad and macaroni and cheese. It didn't disappoint I must say...deep fried the Bahamian way...and wasn't dry at all. Only thing I would suggest is to dress it up before you leave with your favorite sauces...to top of the experience they had my favorite childhood candy bar on the counter...OH HENRY...if you know, you know...like all restaurants prices are high, which makes it difficult to frequent the business as often I would like...but definitely one of the better Bahamian restaurants in my area...I devoured my fritters so I don't have any pictures lol... read more

Horrible!!!!!! First time eating here definitely WONT be coming back!!! I ordered the crack conch with fries that came alongside a dry rotted lime. I paid 14.00 plus tax and the cashier raised her voice at me for asking for more hot sauce. I don't know what loud mouth lady was in the eating area with her phone on speaker but that's ghetto along with the airport jewelry they have spread over the counter. This place is a hot mess. read more

The food was hot and delicious. I ordered the seafood combination (2) with cracked conch, fried shrimp, and cabbage. The Bahamian server's thick accent solidified the food was authentic Bahamian food and it didn't disappoint. The food came out quick and was seasoned to perfection. As I said my grace, the aroma and steam from the food rose from the plate and filled the restaurant. I highly recommend Conch Heaven 2 Go. read more

Came here about a week ago... it was an easy to find place in a plaza with a big lots... I ordered the lunch cracked conch and conch fritters... the conch fritters were flavorful but the conch was a bit tuff so I ended up not finishing them. I am from Bahamas and love conch salad. My friends told me that this is one of the top 10 places to get conch salad from, near Fort Lauderdale but in Plantation. When I bought my conch salad it was soooo good. I took 2 home and finish one by the time I got home . I would definitely recommend other people to this restaurant. Second time coming here for the conch salad & it just gets better everytime so tasty and juicy

I got so excited when I drove by this place today. My family is from the Bahamas so I thought I was going to get a taste of what I am used to. The cracked conch did not have flavor. Thank goodness for the conch sauce. The fries were limp and damp. It was not fried for long. Then my chicken souce was so white. It was as if they just prepped it not knowing someone would have actually ordered it today. The sad part is that they were not even busy. There was no one there but me. I will not ever go to this location in plantation again. So disappointing to feel like you want to support a black business but can't because the food was not up to par. Souce should never be this white and liquid so clear. Just horrible read more

First and last time I will ever spend money here. The service was trash took my best friend here for some food and end up being the worst time. The cashier was rude and disrespectful did not give a warming greeting and the owner was on a personal video call being very loud. So I'm familiar with the original conch heaven in Miami with Goldie. I paid $14.00 for a conch salad that was full of tomatoes and hardly any conch. It lacked flavor and seasoning I had to dress it up with salt and my own seasonings. The potato salad was bland and lacked flavor. The fried crabs were so fishy smelling that I had to throw them out before I made it home. To call this Bahamian food is an insult. The peas and rice even lacked flavor. This was a waste of my money and time. read more

Recently ordered food from this restaurant and it was subpar. The staff was very friendly and the location is easy to find with plenty of parking so they get five stars for that but the food was a 3. We ordered fried shrimp, fried conch, conch salad and fish. The shrimp was good everything else was bad. The fish tasted old and the conch salad was more "salad" with very little conch. The side orders were not fresh, slightly burned and seemed reheated. South Florida has so many other Bahamian restaurants and food trucks. Sorry we will not be back or recommending this place to anyone. read more
