The garlic bread he liked but it looked like a small sub roll nothing special. The one thing that would completely deter me from going again was it was just dirty inside right from the entrance there's a really really dirty fan blowing and behind the counter ... Wow! All i can say is this is absolutely the most unorganized pizza place in The area. Plus, I had to wait an extra 25 minutes past the time that they said the pizza would be ready. I got there and they told me seven more minutes no big deal, and 20 minutes later I'm finally walking out with my food. The pizza was average, I really liked the cheese though. The wings and garlic knots were good. We got the mild wings and they had good flavor without the heat that usually ruins these with the wife and kids. Been ordering online and paying via Paypal for years. Suddenly Paypal is no longer accepted nor are credit cards. So if you want to order online, you have to call them with payment. Then when we tried to order online, we're told we are outside of their delivery area (I'm two miles away). When you order online, you receive a 10% discount, but I can not longer order online and they won't honor it over the phone even though they acknowledged the problem and claimed they were going to fix it. Delivery times are also an issue. A 30 minutes delivery promise always seems to be an hour or more. One incident I called at the hour mark and was told the driver was out with my food and I would be the next stop. Food showed up 55 minutes later. We ordered from Concetta's for the first time the other night. Delivery was right on time through Grubhub and the young girl that brought the order was very nice and polite. That's where the goodness stopped though. REALLY reminded me of that Digiorno Pizza commercial where the delivery car was taking sharp turns and bouncing up and down and the pizza was flying all over the place. That's EXACTLY what this pizza looked like! All of the toppings were piled up in one of the corners of the box (along with all of the grease). I was able to spread the toppings back out over the pizza without a problem but, even after all of that, it just didn't taste great. It wasn't BAD, just not all that good. And VERY greasy. The hot wings were good though. I like their wing sauce. We likely won't order from here again though. read more

Concetta's Pizza House recently took over the former La Familia Pizza & Pasta space next to Dunkin Donuts on Main Ave, adding to the local pizza options, located halfway between the popular Chris's Pizzeria and La Bella Pizza (being renovated). They have another restaurant named Concetta's Italian Restaurant, which is a full service sitdown restaurant and bar in Bloomfield, CT, west of Hartford. They serve up traditional & gourmet Italian style pizzas, calzones, salads, grinders, burgers, sandwiches, appetizers, wings, a good variety of Italian dinners (served with salad & garlic bread), chilled desserts, and cooler drinks. Lunch Specials (Mon-Fri 11AM-3PM) are offered. Like before, the place is geared towards takeout (& delivery) and there are a few tables for eating in, front of the counter. I stopped in here recently for a quick bite and they had several pizzas (slices) behind the glass window all set. I picked out a slice of Broccoli, Ricotta, & Mozzarella ($3) for lunch. The pizza slice was heated up in the oven. The white pizza slice was decent topped with small pieces of broccoli, ricotta, mozzarella, garlic & oil and the thin crust was a firm and soft inside, but dry tasting in general. Love this place! They have extremely fast delivery . The pizza and wings are great! The garlic Parmesan wings are my favorite. They Also make a Greek salad that i love and the veggies are always crisp. I've ordered the eggplant dinner so many times and it's always consistent. It's good home cooking. They send garlic bread and a small garden salad with all the Meals too. It's a nice family owned business and they are always friendly and accommodating to my asks. Like changes or special requests for my disabled daughter. They've even made me things that weren't even on their menu. I wanted broccoli with some garlic and they made it for me. Ah Concetta's! I must say that I am a regular here. But not for the reasons you might think. Any time I need to carb load before a race or a mountain hike, this is my go to for the pasta and pizza. Portions are very large. As a matter of fact, there have been a few occasions where I ate half the night before, and finished the other half after the race or the mountain. It is a large amount of entree, and comes with bread and a garden salad on the side. MORE than enough food to do what I need it to do. And, the food is cooked well, spiced right and always hot and fresh. I'm only giving you an average on the pizza though. It was sufficient and wasn't overcooked, but nothing about it makes it over the top good. I will continue to explore the menu and expand the review as I go. But for now, the pizza is passable and the pasta dinners are huge and very tasty. I'll recommend the "Crazy Alfredo" any day of the week. Just a boatload of toppings over fettucine Alfredo. You won't be disappointed. 4 stars for being what I need and being close to home!! read more

I rarely leave reviews, but I felt I had to in this situation. We asked for extra well done and it was extremely undercooked. Extra cheese apparently means nothing but cheese. Sorry. First of all the food delivery is super fast ! I got my food and was so amazed with how good the chicken parm grinder was the chicken was so tender and juicy ! Tonight it tried the buffalo chicken salad again the chicken was so tender and juicy and the tomatoes and cucumbers tasted like they were from their garden so fresh ! Can I just say WHY HAVEN'T WE VISITED HERE SOONER?!!! This small place in a tiny strip of Wynantskill is a hidden gem! The food is not only tasty, the ingredients are so obliviously fresh it's mind blowing. We don't eat out too much because we were sick of being disappointed but our son begged for pizza tonight and on a whim we decided to try Concetta's. We placed an order online and it was very easy. We had no way of knowing the sizes of things and boy were we surprised! You really get your money's worth! I'm so sorry we never gave this restaurant a chance because of the past business being crummy. THIS is NOT crummy. I would highly recommend Concetta's to anyone looking for some fresh, delicious, and inexpensive food. They have a very diverse menu selection for a pizza joint and my husband loved his HUMONGOUS cheeseburger grinder. I ordered a small Philly cheesesteak which was more like a medium and a buffalo chicken salad. I specifically asked for no iceberg and it was packed to capacity with romaine and fresh veggies. I stopped ordering the exact same from another local restaurant because the lettuce was wilted and scarce and veggies nonexistent or rotting. Concetta's is crispy and weighs a ton! The pizza was picture perfect and cooked to perfection. Everything was hot and the order was absolutely spot on. The staff was friendly and NORMAL. Good job guys. This "Pizza House" has seriously declined in service ( they can't ever get an order correct!) The food is not what it used to be. They where so rude to me last night and assured me that our order was correct.. it was not!!! Didn't get our salads or garlic bread. Ordered chicken tenders got a 4 pc chicken meal that was so gross, obviously can't feed children chicken with bones so I cooked my kids dinner after spending $44 and receiving 1/2 of our food. Some of the food is great but the front help don't know their ass' from a whole in the ground! We are boycotting this place for awhile. Carols pizza is just down the road and is always on point.
