I have been going to Concannon's since high school and no one can beat their donuts. I will put them up against anybody! I've moved to Indianapolis and asked what is the best bakery in town and I have to say I haven't found one close to Concannon's My friend challenged me to that. I told her Concannon's 2 day old donuts will beat hers. On Monday she brought in her favorite donuts and I told her to try my pretzel donuts. Needless to say I won. So I take my 45 minute drive to Muncie every once in a while to get my donuts read more

It's a fantastic bakery with all kinds of doughnuts, cookies, baked goods, candy. Everyone there is very nice.

I only had a donut from a box that someone brought to our office but it was the best donut I have ever had. It was a cinnamon twist. Perfect in every way. Not too sweet, not too bready, a little bit of chew when you bite down. It honestly ruined other donuts for me because they're never as good and I don't live nearby so I'll just be dreaming of it until I can have another one. read more

I was in Muncie today and wanted to pick up a box of donuts for some people. Of course I looked to my fellow Yelpers for assistance. They lead me to Concannon's, which was definitely a winning decision. They have a large selection of donuts and pastries. The box of donuts I got was fantastic and enjoyed by everyone. I recommend this place if you are in Muncie and needing some pastries. read more

These are donuts from my childhood. I have never been to a bakery that has even matched them. I love the pretzel donuts. Every time I visit home, I have to stop here and Pizza King. My daughter has been to bakeries in Europe, L.A., NY and nearly every major city...she still says Concannon's is her favorite! Best cupcakes, cakes, donuts (creme filled long johns- the ultimate!), coffee, noodles, pies and I also love their salad for 3.99. If you're even in Muncie- Concannon's is a must! read more

We love to bring visitors to Muncie to Concannon's so they can experience the best donuts they've ever had, and then see all the other things that are available. Amazing selection! Pastries were delicious. They really need signs to identify the pastries, it was hard to tell what each was. Bit of a gnat & fly problem too. read more

Great Donuts and other confection. Have the Best Banana Bread. However, the staff could be friendlier.

The expresso is very good do they sell the beans? What brand are they? I would love to buy some.

Amazing! I grew up here always stop in when in town. Fresh delicious service is amazing!

I came here for lunch one day (I think I had the roast beef wrap); I also had their donuts and coffee. The donuts and coffee were excellent. They have a lot of other yummy things which you should probably eat only once every 3-4 months. Cookies... Super friendly people here. Their other lunch options looked very tasty as well. read more

I'm not prone to hyperbole, and I've eaten at many of the best donut places in the world (Randy's in LA, Firecakes in Chicago, Avon in Pontiac, various patisseries in Europe), but these are the best donuts I've ever had. I'd never been to Muncie before. Fate put it about 300 yards from our hotel, and I thought I'd just grab a dozen donuts from a solid-looking local bakery for our visit. My daughter was the first to bite into one and quickly said in a faraway voice, "This is the best donut I've ever had". I thought she was exaggerating until I bit into an old fashioned sour cream and my brain exploded. No hyperbole. My brain EXPLODED. I'm giving this place 5 stars only because they won't let me give it a thousand. read more

Great baked goods, great for any event. Concannons is a staple to Muncie Indiana, everyone knows the name for good reason

This is my favorite of the two Concannon's locations. This one has the cafe which is A+++! The donuts are great! The food is even better! Each day they have a soup special. I love all of their soups! I really enjoy their grilled cheese too! It can kind of be confusing in the cafe area. It's hard to tell if they have people who clean the tables or not. We just always clean our own mess up. It is also a little pricey, but it's delicious. As far as we are concerned you get what you pay for! read more

Absolutely fantastic donuts! In the top three of all time! The staff member we got was awful, she was rude and mad and not even trying to be nice. She made us feel like we were being a real bother trying to order a dozen donuts. Normally I'd have taken about two or three stars off for her being such a witch but the donuts were that amazing to make up for the service. To be fair I went back to the counter for something else and I got a different person and she was lovely and helpful! read more

This is only getting two stars because the people are amazing and so welcoming! Aside from that! This place is all dazzle and no Quality! The food tastes HORRIBLE! I'm not just talking the donuts, I'm talking the drinks, the salads, and the candy! The candy tastes nasty! It almost has a buttery oily taste! chocolate is not supposed to taste like that! Plus the coffee had a HORRIBLE aftertaste! Save your money! I can't believe the locals here call this THE BEST IN TOWN! It gives you some perspective on THE TOWN! read more

I was back in Muncie for a quick visit just before Christmas. Had to stop in and load up on doughnuts, a cherry pie, and some rolls. First excellent assortment of doughnuts. They had a good chocolate cake doughnut. Very moist. Also ate the red velvet doughnut while my kids devoured cream filled and frosted ones. The cherry pie is second only to my own and was fantastic and a lot less effort. The crust was excellent as were the cherries in the filling. I hadn't had a pie before and glad I bought one. The rolls were a surprise as well very light but excellent crust. Mostly a grab and go bakery while this location offers a cafe with food items available too. read more
