    2x Quesabirria, 1x Baja taco

Came on a weekday.. and waited 1hour to order and get the order -- I didn't check before hand and it was due to the $1.50 taco deal they had on May 5th :) returned on Sunday again and no wait great food !!

Sometimes things get better with time but unfortunately, this isn't the case with Con Sabor a México. We don't live in the area, so when coming back from a trip and we were going to pass San Jose, we decided to come back to some of the best quesabirria tacos we had, rivaling my mother in laws. Well, we were disappointed. We always came for the viral huge quesabirria tacos that brought us here in the first place and when we tried ordering it, the cashier said they didn't have the ingredients for it. Hmm, ok. So when we decided just on the quesabirrias, the cashier seemed somewhat confused on the type of tortilla, flour or corn. I believe they are always corn tortillas, so this threw us off. Still we continued with our order. We were charged for meat and cheese tacos with watery broth cuz that wasn't birria. That salsa they gave was fire and made the taco better but if you're expecting birria, just buy the birria bomb and make it at home cuz sadly, that's what it tastes like. Hope they get it together but we won't be making that detour anymore.

    This burrito is so small

This place is good but expensive as hell. They barely give you any salsa and if you ask for more you gotta pay. I ordered a burrito and got this small little number lol

Came to visit this food truck place known for their giant birria taco. It's in a small area but they have their own private parking space. During the night they have white Christmas lights to to light up the area creating a well lit place to eat. They also have games setup to play while you wait for your food. Giant birria taco - it's alright. Too big for me and it's just meat and cheese inside. Would have been nice to have some chopped onions or cilantro. All the small tacos - really good. Their sauce is spicy but each bite is flavorful. The tripas are crunchy but not too dry, al pastor is juicy, and shrimp is good. Drinks - my pineapple didn't have enough ice so it was warm but either way both were good. Wait times were pretty long though. But I'm pretty sure that's because the giant birria taco took all the time to cook.

Have you seen the birria taco served in a pizza box?! I finally got to check out this famous taco spot in San Jose. We ordered the giant signature birria taco, short rib burrito, loaded Baja taco, and two drinks. Everything was fresh made and delicious! My number one favorite was the short rib burrito -- loved the tenderness and smoky flavor of the meat. It was well-seasoned and very juicy! Definitely going back for more -- I really want to try their birria ramen next time as well!

We got the baja and al pastor tacos along with the big birria taco. All tacos were perfectly cooked. We loved the al pastor the most. We also got their agua frescas watermelon and pineapple. Both drinks were refreshing. Although pineapple juice had a lot of pulp. But other than that we got our food pretty quick.

Haven't been back here for a very long time. Order some keto Baja shrimp tacos and Birria nachos because they ran out of fries. Upon getting the food. Everything was very bland, no flavor whatsoever. I can only taste the cheese nothing else. The meat wasn't seasoned and so was the consommé; it was extremely watery and bland. I am disappointed and how on earth; the quality went down hill. They also hardly put any toppings ( white onion and cilantro) skimping it out a lot. Overall it was okay; probably best advice would be to bring a salt packet. The outdoor seating patio changed. They made it a lot spacier. Other than that it's just okay. Would I come again? Probably but only if my partner is craving for them. Also additional the red radish/ turnips aren't that crunchy either.

I love this little enclave with activities, great music, and awesome food. I got some street tacos from here which were yummy and some fresh juice which was refreshing on a hot day. Fun, friendly staff. It was also interesting to see that they had keto options as well

My boyfriend, an SJ native and son of Mexican immigrants, claims Con Sabor A Mexico to be his favorite / the best quesabirria in the Bay. Visiting has been on our list for literally one year, just never ended up in SJ when the shop was open. Finally, we found ourselves hangry and tired in SJ recently, so we made our way over. The "restaurant" space is very rudimentary -- expect to see a taco truck plus a few more stationary outposts (for storage? I'm unsure), plus tents with plenty of tables underneath for patrons. I would definitely call this fast casual, and definitely opposite of romantic, unless your first date/anniversary has something to do with delicious tacos. Order from a kiosk and then wait for your name to be called. Be sure to grab extra napkins, there's no way anyone can get out of eating this without juice dripping down your hands. The tacos were absolutely overflowing with ingredients and the consomme was 12/10, definitely the best I've had (with close seconds not far behind), and it was *not* heavy on the cinnamon, which seems to be others' downfall. I was stuffed after two tacos. Our meal was definitely delicious, and if I lived in the South Bay, I'd definitely frequent more regularly, but I'm 0% sad I don't live in SJ and just as happy to keep exploring options in the City (or just go back to my tried & true Tacos El Patron)

Not horrible but definitely NOT worth it. The wait for their huge Queso Birria was 45 minutes and it was 20 min for the flavored water. Food was ok, nothing worth writing about. Sitting area was nice but weathering badly. Laughed when one of the workers came out with her food and ate right next to us, 30 minutes after we ordered. Parking was initially ok, skinny lot. Not bad until a POS parks next to your or in front of you and you can't get out. If you insist on eating there, park in the street! Huge queso birria $35 and the flavored water $8 each. Water was eh. There are DEFINITELY better options around, choose them.

This is the middle third of the Quesabirria lol- I was too hungry to snap sooner!

YUM! came here while on a trip based on a recommendation from a local, and don't regret trying it out! I was in the mood for a quesadilla but decided to try the quesabirria instead. I do not regret it! It was enormous, so good thing I was hungry! The meat was super tasty and flavorful, and that secret hot sauce they make is absolutely necessary. I think next time I would ask for some salsa or pico on the side for some variety of texture beside the radishes. Service was quick and the whole place was really chill while waiting for the order. Their BBQ station is currently down, but I'd love to come back to try some of that.

The five stars are for the radishes served with the birria tacos. These were the tastiest radishes I have ever tasted so far in life; the flavor came out after they'd been swimming in the cup of beef broth for 15 minutes. Also worth mentioning are the tables and benches made from salvaged auto parts (see picture.) The beef in the tacos at Tostadas was more lean, while the beef in the tacos at Con Sabor was more like eating pork belly.

    Pollo, Pastor, Asada Tacos
    Shih Fa K.

Had the trio with asada, pastor, and pollo. Both the pollo and asada were well-seasoned, but the pastor was a little bit bland. The rice that came on the side was well-made, and the service was fast and responsive. The ambiance was a food truck

I stumbled upon this place one day while doing my random walk, so you KNOW I had to give this place a try. I had went in upon opening time, so my wait was a little bit, but I was not complaining because you know what they say: "Greatness comes when you build them up one by one." I got their hamburger with the extra cheese, and curly fries. The patty was extra juicy, and the brioche buns were toasted really well. I especially like how they added on the cheese after the patty was marinated on the grill for quite a while, but not too long to the point all of the juice was sucked up. The only down side to the food: the prices. Be prepared to spend quite a bit on lunch if you decide to go to this place, because they do end up charging quite a bit more than what the regular places around Downtown would. But the IPA beers make up for it, so it's also worth a bang for your buck. Hospitality was pretty top-notch -- my order was taken in an orderly fashion, and they even apologized for the wait as well. I hope Scratch Cookery stays around for a long while so that people can try out such majestic wonders this establishment has to offer! Ambiance was great, and I'd definitely be back again!

The Good: * Friendly service * Prices aren't too bad considering the portion size and flavor. * Outdoor dog-friendly seating * Craft brews in cans * Seven levels of heat for everyone from the spice-averse to the hardcore fire lover. * Chicken sandwiches are massive and delicious. And despite it being a breast, they kept it very juicy. * Really loved their fries; I'm not sure if they make them in-house or if they're frozen, but regardless, they're fantastic. The Meh: * Not much in the way of drinks except for the aforementioned beers and cans of soda. The Ugly: * It's located in DTSJ, so you'll most likely have to pay for parking. What I…read morelove about it is that you don't have to chase down local food trucks by checking out their Twitter or Facebook updates to know where they'll be parked. And on top of that you get to experience a whole bunch of awesome Bay Area food trucks all in one spot. Moveable Feast on Friday nights in Willow Glen is a great foodie date night for sure. The bf and I have been here twice now (first time was still during my jaw surgery recovery phase where I was unable to chew, so it wasn't as exciting for me then). This last time we went we noticed that the most popular trucks were Sam's Chowdermobile, Grilled Cheese Bandits and Hill Country BBQ. The lines for those 3 were endless. But we did get to try come mashed tater balls and a delicious italian style grilled cheese sammich from Grilled Cheese Bandits about an hour before Moveable Feast was closing. And the bf got the very last link dog over at Hill Country BBQ, which he said was better than the Miso Dog he had over at Oh Miso Hungry truck. Let me list out what we had at the few trucks we chose to order from. Oh Miso Hungry Kimchi grilled cheese was actually not as good as it sounds. The kimchi was definitely delicious but it didn't taste right being super warm in between those pieces of Texas toast. And the Miso Dog the bf had, he liked but didn't love. MoGo BBQ Kalbi and bulgogi tacos. I liked the meat, tasted good. Not a fan of the corn tortillas they used. Barefoot Coffee The bf ordered a small coffee on drip to swing over to Treatbot Ice Cream since the guy over there told us the ice cream tastes bomb with that coffee. I had a sip of that coffee, holy shizz it was strong! Treatbot We had a scoop of horchata and a scoop of chocolate ice cream to go into the coffee. This is the second time I've had their horchata ice cream and I'm a HUGE fan for sure. Hill Country BBQ They ran out of most of their food about an hour before closing time. I liked the sauces they had out and pretty curious about the Porkolicious sauce. Looked interested! Next time, I'll be sure to try some of that pulled pork that was oh-so-popular. Grilled Cheese Bandit We ordered the small order of mashed tater balls which were okay but a bit too salty for us. Their Giuliano sandwich sure was bomb though! It came with mozzarella, parmesan and tomatoes with pesto on this amazingly soft Italian batard bread. Hands down, best thing I ate that night. I'm still very curious about what Sam's Chowdermobile has to offer but that damn line never let up! It was also extremely chilly that night, what the F happened to summer weather San Jose? But yeah, next time we'll definitely have to just stick it out and stand in line for some chowder. I would rate Moveable Feast 5 stars if they included better dessert trucks than just Fairycakes (cupcakes, which I'm not a fan of) and ice cream and candy. I want some PIES or something a bit more dense for dessert peeps!
