I can not say enough good things. I was visiting Asheville for my birthday and had to work remote. While at the hotel my computer totally died. My screen AND hard drive were done for. I was in complete distress. Tech House advised me how to get my computer through the weekend by using work-arounds so I could still get my work done. When I got back to Raleigh, the quotes I got from other tech companies were WAY higher than Tech House, so I ended up mailing them my computer to fix. They gave me the BEST price, BEST service, and fixed more than I even knew was wrong. They kept me informed every step of the way and made sure I agreed to every change that was made. The service was very personal. I was in a hard spot financially and they made it work. These guys are the best. Anuj is just awesome. Now my laptop works perfectly.

Be certain to ask them for a card and to not put a sticker on your computer. My experience was negative on the whole. I asked them if they felt comfortable diagnosing something I had difficulty solving and informed them that I was competent with building and servicing PCs. When I received my computer back, they mentioned that they had reinstalled Windows because of an improper boot partition. They were wrong. The problem stemmed from a bug in the 24H2 update of Windows that did not play nicely with either of my Western Digital NVME drives. I discovered the bug on Reddit and updated my SN770 2TB storage drive's firmware, though I noticed it (the drive itself) would appear and disappear. This was a new problem. So low and behold my computer updated again to 24H2 and same problem as before. Apparently the SN550 Boot Drive was also experiencing the same issue with DRAM-less WD drives, but was not given an update option nor was it validated as being a problem by WD. This necessitated a new drive for my OS, so I went with Crucial. Insofar as I was taking my computer apart to install a drive, I explored the issue with my storage drive. Bits and Bytes had broken the primary NVME port on my motherboard so that drives would no longer fit securely. When speaking with the technician, he mentioned he had never seen a board quite like that and had trouble extricating the drive. I fixed the problem myself and all it cost was $150 to Bits and Bytes, a new hard drive for my OS, a new motherboard, and a lot of time. I will not be going back.

Having been referred to Electron Computer Solutions by a host of neighbors all of whom applauded the work that had been done on their behalf by Ron, I had a high expectation that was exceeded once I met him and received his services. He is a person with a deep technology background and a clear and comparatively rare commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction in the work that he performs. Having brought him my 2009 MacBook Pro due to severe performance issues, he provided me with a timely and free diagnosis of the work he saw needing to be performed and a firm estimate of the cost of that work. Ron replaced my rapidly failing original, mechanical hard drive with a solid-state hard drive and doubled the RAM of my MAC for a cost including parts and labor of $322.50. As a courtesy, he also came to my home to resolve a separate connectivity issue with my printer. My MAC now runs significantly faster and operates substantially better than when I purchased it new in September, 2009. In addition, the interface of my MAC with my printer is now seamless. I highly recommend his services.

I called "In His Time" repair to deal with a dishwasher problem where the machine had difficulty starting a cycle. The owner, Terry Wilson, came out and immediately diagnosed the problem to be the electronic panel. He explained that LG dishwashers were notorious with these panels failing and needing replacement. This diagnosis was seemingly very easy for him to define, he explained that this was very common. He recommended that if I was comfortable with doing basic repairs that I could order the part myself and install it to save myself any additional expenses. I felt comfortable with his ease of explanation and knowledge of what he was saying. He also told me I should expect to replace this panel every few years because it will eventually fail again. I was obviously disappointed to hear this but given today's state of appliance quality, I wasn't shocked. I paid him his service fee of $65 and then proceeded to order the $195 panel. Once I received it, I installed it without too much difficulty. Unfortunately, it had absolutely no effect on my problem. After repeated attempts to contact Terry Wilson, he called me back. When I told him what I encountered he immediately told me how I made the mistake of buying the part when he recommended that I should have purchased a new dishwasher. I tried to explain to him that we never discussed buying a new dishwasher but he wouldn't hear of it and emphatically told me that this was his recommendation. It was obvious that he wasn't interested in entertaining any other option and rather than get into an argument with him I politely ended the conversation and said good-bye. i subsequently did more research and discovered that a common solution to my problem showed it was probably related to the latch switch. I found I could get one of those for $50 and ordered it. It was easy to install and immediately fixed the problem. So, in the end, I was in over $250 by using "In His Time" to help me falsely diagnose the problem and then when I explained to him the situation Terry wasn't even remotely open to the idea that he might have misdiagnosed the situation.
