Never have I experienced such sloppy repairs as we got Christopher's Computers. My desktop had…read morebegun intermittently locking up and at one point would not restart. I took it to them, and it was returned with only an explanation that they removed malware. A few days later, the hard drive in my wife's laptop died. She took it to Christopher's since they had seemed okay, but before her computer was repaired, my desktop again started locking up randomly. After the new hard drive was installed, they called asking if she had a backup drive, she could bring it in, and they would restore the drive. After my wife picked up her laptop, she was incredibly shocked when she turned on the computer to find only a generic Window 10 installation with none of her programs or data. Her backup was through Windows File History, which when I opened it only contained backup of the new installation and none of her backup files. It too four days before Christopher could finally restore access to her File History and we could slowly restore her computer. To add insult to injury, her computer and the backup drive now we labeled with Christopher's information using permanent mailing labels that won't pull off. Why a computer repair company would offer restoration but instead make the existing backup data inaccessible is highly questionable. Never in almost forty years of owning computers have I experienced such incompetence in a repair shop.
