So when we're living in a culture where you're expected to tip the barista for pulling the soda out of the fridge, this was above and beyond. I'm a customer for life here and you should be too. This procedure required me to remove the CPU and its associated CPU cooler. Thermal paste is sued between the heat sink and the CPU.I had no thermal paste and no store int he area carried it. Amazon would've taken a couple of days too many for me. I decided to look for "PC repair' in the Pt Washington, NY, Manhasset, NY areas. I called Henry, who was not in the office, and explained the situation. He immediately offered some thermal paste free of charge and called his assistant back at the office that I was on my way. Gladys was charming and helpful. I had my paste in a minute, returned home, and was able to be my son's hero. What's that worth, folks?
