I brought…read morein my custom build (5 years old) because my CPU indicator on my MoBo turned red, and I honestly couldn't figure it out, I thought it might've been the processor that wasn't seating right, thermal paste, chord issues, etc. Central Computers not only did they find the right issue which was some weird faulty reset button in my tower, they made sure to not force the wrong option on me and accidentally sell me a new processor/MoBo/whatever the most common replacement is for the error. They gave me back my computer with diagnostics fee being the only cost I paid (39 bucks at the time!) and she's back in working order! Really appreciated their ability to work around my schedule too. They had their own private parking lot in the back and prices were basically the same as online my son said, unless you were buying us somewhat used item from a private vendor. I received "No" after "No", but Ray reached out and said he had an idea. My gaming laptop was no longer powering on and due to its model, essentially every repair shop said they couldn't handle it. I was able to come by and drop off my laptop for a diagnostic check. An hour later Ray was done and sent me a highly detailed Diagnostic report with findings, causes, and recommendations. My issue required a full motherboard replacement so we weren't able to proceed with any fixes. Regardless, I am grateful to the expertise and support Ray has given me for the laptop. I called them at 5:50pm and spoke with Ray "I think he is the owner" anyway I told him what was going on and he said to come on down and that he would wait for me. When I arrived I noticed that they have a big Yelp banner on the window, I walked in and spoke with Ray about the problem and showed him a picture of what the error was, he was up front with me and explained that if the hard drive was bad that he would not be able to save my data. I told him to do his best to save my data. The next day he texted me with a quote and said that he would be able to fix it and save my data. I told him to fix it. About 3 hours later he texted me again and said to come on by and pick it up. Now when I arrived he didn't just give me my computer and send me on my way, he sat me down and explained that I have 3 different options to save my data just in case the hard drive or computer crashes in the future. He also said that if I'm not sure how to back up the hard drive or need help with anything to call him and he would walk me through it. The diagnosis was simply that a "power chip" was damaged, and they recommended replacing the entire motherboard for about $690 because they don't do chip-level repairs. They also charged me for the diagnostic ~$100, even though their website advertises a free diagnostic. The laptop still smells strongly of coffee, which also made me question whether it was actually cleaned or how thorough the cleaning was. He could have been singing "here I come to save the day" and it would have matched how I felt. He was just wonderful.
