I took in my water-damaged iPhone (I was absentmindedly gardening in the rain with it in the pocket of my clearly not-totally-waterproof rain jacket), and they clearly explained the possible outcomes and their ability to deal with them. They did a diagnostic check of it (which was really reasonable at $20 or so), and after they let me know that the damage wasn't that bad and replacing the screen should do the trick, put the diagnostic fee toward the $70 screen replacement! My phone is working great and they checked the phone and had it repaired in less than a day. (I will also keep in mind, which they clearly stated, that residual issues may arise from the water damage that are not guaranteed for obvious reasons. FIngers crossed that the phone will be a-ok.) I went to compupod to get a screen change for my surface pro 6, the screen was shattered and while it was still working normally, the screen was cracked everywhere. When first entering Compupod, I noticed how brightly colored everything was and how clean it was. The person who helped me, Zuly, was so nice and great. I dropped off my device on Friday and they had it ready to be picked up on Monday. From receiving my device back after getting it fixed, I first noticed how they put a temporary screen protector which I really appreciated. Zuly was so kind when handing my surface pro back to me, giving me time to test my surface pro, turning it on, making sure the touch screen worked, and that the mouse and the keyboard were still able to recognize it and work. I would 100% come back here if needed. The price of changing the screen was also reasonable, a lot of the other places I had checked before choosing Compupod were $50 more. Definitely recommend it, they even give free tempered glass screen protectors for phones when you check in on yelp. read more

Staff is very rude, inconsiderate and primarily don't speak any English. I was quoted $120 for an iPhone 7 screen replacement that would take one hour. I drove an hour, from Oakland in traffic, to get my screen changed. When I arrived, I was ignored, while staff helped other customers that arrived after me. I just stood there while they stared at me, one of them finally asked what I needed and after I told him I needed my phone screen fixed, he told me hold on a second and just went back to helping other customers. After 30 mins of being ignored, I left and went to another shop that did the change for $100 in 5 minutes!!! Definitely not coming back here. read more

Great, friendly, professional service. They communicate via Yelp messages, and pick up the phone when you call. AND the prices listed on the TV in-store match the prices communicated via messages and confirmed via phone. Transparency - love it! Shattered phone screen was ready in the time frame they gave me, and Hugo even provided me some valuable information on enabling my disabled phone. HOWEVER, I will warn that the 6s OEM (original, refurbished) screen (confirmed via messages, over the phone, and in person) is not an original screen. Barely noticeable, but the new screen turned my phone a "cooler" (almost vaguely blue-r) tone. I compared my phone screen side-by-side with my sister's never-shattered phone screen, and the original from Apple is a warmer tone. No wonder the price they offer is so attractively low! read more
