Staff is very rude, inconsiderate and primarily don't speak any English. I was quoted $120 for an iPhone 7 screen replacement that would take one hour. I drove an hour, from Oakland in traffic, to get my screen changed. When I arrived, I was ignored, while staff helped other customers that arrived after me. I just stood there while they stared at me, one of them finally asked what I needed and after I told him I needed my phone screen fixed, he told me hold on a second and just went back to helping other customers. After 30 mins of being ignored, I left and went to another shop that did the change for $100 in 5 minutes!!! Definitely not coming back here. read more

Rebecca from Compupod was the only one to give me a detailed quote, who shared they offered 3 levels of product ranging from cheapest quality to OEM. Other companies just quoted a price so it's unknown what you are getting. I went with Compupod based on all the great yelp reviews and can tell you it is deserved. Great, friendly, professional service. They communicate via Yelp messages, and pick up the phone when you call. AND the prices listed on the TV in-store match the prices communicated via messages and confirmed via phone. Transparency - love it! Shattered phone screen was ready in the time frame they gave me, and Hugo even provided me some valuable information on enabling my disabled phone. HOWEVER, I will warn that the 6s OEM (original, refurbished) screen (confirmed via messages, over the phone, and in person) is not an original screen. Barely noticeable, but the new screen turned my phone a "cooler" (almost vaguely blue-r) tone. I compared my phone screen side-by-side with my sister's never-shattered phone screen, and the original from Apple is a warmer tone. No wonder the price they offer is so attractively low! read more

After getting the phone fix I had to go back a 2nd time because they didn't properly installed the glass causing my screen not to respond. After going back he open it up and I saw that the screen had Chinese writing on it and it wasn't a oem. This place is a scam. They offer you a 10% discount when you write them a yelp reviews. Came here for a cheap fix and defiantly got what I paid for I guess. I brought in an iPhone XR with a broken charger port. (I already knew it was broken). They told me they'll first clean it for $35 and if that don't work it they will replace the charger port for $85. Got a call back after 2 hours After I left it saying it was finished and I can pick it up. I arrived at the store and she gave my phone and was told nothing about what was fixed or replaced, they just charged my card. I finally arrived home and realized that the charger port that was replaced is missing the two screws that is pretty much holding the whole phone together. The only two visible screws! Anyways I gave them a call and they told me to bring it back and they will fix it. If they didn't offer a fix they would get a one star. But I'm personally not going back. Simple fixes should not be left undone! read more

I spoke to an articulate capable sounding person. When I got there the guy spoke poor english. I told him the status of the phone - water intrusion but it does speak to itunes - and I expected him to list options. He did not. Just handed me a bill for an assessment/analysis. The reviews were generally good so I left the phone I got a call later from a woman who spoke english who told me that I needed to do a water treatment which might or might not work and then there would be additional charges depending on the issues. No statement about what they had done, any diagnostics they had run, whether they did any period. Then I was left with the non-english speaker. I do not believe they did anything except try to turn it on. Avoid them. No customer service, no caring. read more
