If I can give this place a 0 I would. Came in there for a oem replacement on my iPhone. After getting the phone fix I had to go back a 2nd time because they didn't properly installed the glass causing my screen not to respond. After going back he open it up and I saw that the screen had Chinese writing on it and it wasn't a oem. This place is a scam. They offer you a 10% discount when you write them a yelp reviews. Came here for a cheap fix and defiantly got what I paid for I guess. I brought in an iPhone XR with a broken charger port. (I already knew it was broken). They told me they'll first clean it for $35 and if that don't work it they will replace the charger port for $85. Got a call back after 2 hours After I left it saying it was finished and I can pick it up. I arrived at the store and she gave my phone and was told nothing about what was fixed or replaced, they just charged my card. I finally arrived home and realized that the charger port that was replaced is missing the two screws that is pretty much holding the whole phone together. The only two visible screws! Anyways I gave them a call and they told me to bring it back and they will fix it. If they didn't offer a fix they would get a one star. But I'm personally not going back. Simple fixes should not be left undone! read more

On Galaxy S 10 that is over 3 years old it seems a bit excessive. Even though the phone is working it doesn feel the same . Especially the sides feel sharp as I hold the phone in my palm. read more

I spoke to an articulate capable sounding person. When I got there the guy spoke poor english. I told him the status of the phone - water intrusion but it does speak to itunes - and I expected him to list options. He did not. Just handed me a bill for an assessment/analysis. The reviews were generally good so I left the phone I got a call later from a woman who spoke english who told me that I needed to do a water treatment which might or might not work and then there would be additional charges depending on the issues. No statement about what they had done, any diagnostics they had run, whether they did any period. Then I was left with the non-english speaker. I do not believe they did anything except try to turn it on. Avoid them. No customer service, no caring. read more

My Galaxy S8+ had a broken screen and water damage so the phone would not power on at all. Compupod somehow was able to repair it enough to turn on so that I could get all of my data off of it! The phone (at the time of writing) is a newer phone so not many people know how to deal with repairing it, and if they do, it is very costly. I was very satisfied with the customer service and price here. I would highly recommend getting a quote from here if your phone breaks as most other places couldn't even provide me with a quote!!! read more

Another happy customer! I initially was going to bring my Pixel 3 with a cracked screen to a place (that I won't name) in the Inner Sunset. The proprietor didn't have my screen in stock nor did he trust that I knew the model of my own phone, even after I sent him pics of it and screenshots, as he requested. So he asked me to drive over to his store so he could confirm the model, then he'd order the screen, then I could come back to drop it off for repair. I thought, there's got to be a better way... Compupod had the screen in stock. They gave me a (better) price quote and (accurate) repair duration over the phone. Got my iPhone screen repaired. After the repair, I saw a sticker on repaired screen attached which said '25 percent off accessories'. So me and my parents picked couple of screen protectors and couple of phone cases and at checkout the guy said the 25 percent is off on only 1 accessory Even one of screen protector was badly applied and there was air bubble. The other was applied well Wouldn't recommend overall also - dubious wording on discount the sticker clearly said '25 percent off accessories'. Thanks to Yelp, I found Compupod, which was the best deal of the 5 retailers I was recommended! They were one of the first to respond to my questions and the price they offered was 1/3 less than the 1 other company that actually had the part needed. Besides, being more affordable, their store was located in the same city that I live in, so it was way easier to go there and a whole lot closer than going to Palo Alto! When I dropped off my cell phone to get my cracked screen replaced, I was told it would take only from 2 to 2 1/2 hours to repair and sure enough, when I came back, my phone was as good as new! My phone was working like new for another year until I dropped it again onto the unforgiving concrete of a BART station - even though I had a screen protector on it didn't save my phone from getting cracked. Contacted them the same day and my phone was fixed in about 2 hours, and it's back to new again. I was able to get a free screen protector with my replacement, but the lady who put it on left air bubbles on the corners of my screen along with visible adhesive spots. Great Pixel 3 XL repair. I paid $185 out the door including the Yelp discount, which was way cheaper than everyone else in the SF area. The cheapest I could find elsewhere was $250, so I'm really happy. Even though it was expensive to replace the screens glass after an unfortunate crack, I'm happy they had the part on hand and were able to get me in and out in less than 2 hours.
