As we were waiting, one of the customers told me that they closed the store 15 minutes earlier yesterday. By this time, it was 10:20 am. That customer got tired of waiting and left because she had to get to work. The other customer, who also had an appointment at 10 am stayed. The clerk, a young man, finally arrived at 10:31 am looking like he just woke up. He see us at the door and walks up as if he's strolling through the park taking his time to open the door. He said, "Sorry I'm late", with a lack of concern tone. If this is the kind of customer service provided by this establishment, we won't be returning. I took a video of the wait and documented the time and added it to this review. Customers should never be inconvenienced in this manner.

We filed a claim through our cellphone insurance plan with Allstate for a defective screen and…read morebattery heating up on an Iphone 12 mini, and this shop was one of the local repair centers that was on the insurance repair list. From the moment we set foot in the store we got the run around. The male attendant could barely speak legible English, so communication was difficult, but he told us that Allstate was "different" and he'd have to confirm the coverage. Even though I brought the printout of the claim number and approval and all relevant info. So the 30 minute turn-around as promised turned into us having to leave and return after several hours so the coverage could be confirmed. We live in Friendswood and it's about a 30-35 minute round-trip if there's no traffic. When we returned, the attendant accepted the phone and had it for close to an hour before it was returned. I had to inquire several times about the work done, but he finally admitted they did not have the battery in stock but replaced the screen. We were told he was ordering the battery and we would be contacted to bring the phone back to finish the service. I confirmed with him several times that we would get the battery service on the same claim. No problem right? We get a notice nearly two weeks later that the battery was in, so my wife returns to the store (a third time now) to complete the service. She is told the insurance claim had already been closed and that we would have to pay for the battery or file a new claim. Pretty unbelievable. The work they did replacing the screen was fine, but the fact we had to make 3 trips and then were denied service after we were told it would be covered is unacceptable. The girl working the desk the day of our return called someone in the back for 10-15 minutes, and then came out with the final decision that the work would not be performed. Avoid at all costs if you value your time and good customer service. We'll now have to file a new claim since CPR Pearland refused to honor the work they promised and we will be using a different repair center going forward. We will also be filing a complaint with Allstate about this shop.

It was so hard to not give them 1 or zero stars (if that possible). The only reason I gave any…read morestars was because Leslie was so awesome. Initially Karlizza helped me and was horrible. I told her about an issue I am having where calls coming in while I am on the other line are telling people my number is disconnected. She looked at a couple of things on my phone and told me I needed to call the ATT help desk and that I would need to wait at least an hour before I talked to a person. She clearly didn't want to help me. Then I told her I needed a new iphone 15 for my son. She didn't let me know there were different versions. I was supposed to purchase the pro. I didn't realize it until the box was already open and saw that there were only 2 lenses on the back. She told me I would have to pay $55 to get the pro because she had already opened it. She asked if I had WiFi at home. When I told her yes she said "then you can go set the rest up at home". I told her I was not comfortable doing this and asked if she could please help. It was obvious that she didn't want to. We ran into an issue with transferring the cloud data over. She said I would have to call the cloud to resolve it because they weren't part of ATT. I kept saying that didn't sound right. We could clearly see that he had backed his phone up on the cloud (we have a family plan). She argued that it wasn't an automatic backup, that you have to manually set it up and that we must not have done this because nothing transferred over. This was despite the fact I found on my file that it showed a file size to transfer. She then started talking very slow to me (as if I had a learning disability) and kept saying it was like buying a car and someone makes different parts that you would have to go somewhere else to fix it. It was extremely humiliating. She obviously didn't want to help me and kept trying to get rid of me. I asked if I could speak to someone else to help me. She rolled her eyes at me and told me that she had been doing this over 10 years and that I just had to call the Cloud. I had to ask again for someone to help me. That's when Leslie walked by and said she would come help. Leslie figured out that we were using my son's iPad cloud id and not the phone one. Leslie took the time to get it all figured out and properly transferred.

The store looked bare and I was looking around to see if it was an Authorized Dealer and unfortunately it was not. AT&T has to do a better job of making their stores have more appeal.
