I took it to John here after taking the advice of other reviews to call for his availability first. It's a small place, filled with computers in various stages of repair: very old fashioned. John met me and my comp, quickly confirmed my first suspicions of hardware failure but informed me that he would need more time to do hardware diagnostics. He took from start of business until 5pm to check every other part in the event that another component was at fault or if he could outright repair my issue. While he couldn't fix the problem, John was exhaustive in his checks and confirmed my bad mobo (which realistically was exactly what I had brought it in for, even if him fixing it was a distant hope). As he promised, the diagnostic without a fix cost me nothing but still gave me actionable information. More important here was the follow up. After asking John about the solution (new motherboard), he immediately followed up that I needed to also get other components or my computer would fizzle again (which again was exactly what had happened here). It's this extra bit, which could very easily save me a heck of a lot of stress and care a few years down the line, that sold me on this experience. Again, John got no pay for this visit, and won't get a kickback from my buying the extra parts (tho did recommend me a good shop that I also knew of), but still did his best to make sure I was in better shape leaving his shop than entering it. I'd say that's worth 5 stars for any industry, no?

Tony (owner) and Patrick (tech) were both completely outstanding from start to finish…read more I wanted to add new LAN ethernet connections on both 2nd and 3rd floor of my finished townhouse. Tony responded very promptly to my request for quote. I learned Tony used to do industrial cabling work down at Texas City Refinery [now Galveston Bay Refinery] - as a mech engineer whose worked on this refinery, I can tell you this is impressive. Tony immediately understood my project needs, asked great questions/made great points, and I realized I didn't even want to quote anyone else. Tony kindly offered two different quotes (lower cost quote for external-house wiring and slightly higher labor quote for in-wall wiring). I opted for in-wall and running the cables down from my attic (where they tied into my network switch and patch panel). Their cabling work was fantastic - extra coiled up wiring at both ends, well secured, clean & hidden for nice aesthetics, color-coded & also clearly labelled, and they minimized holes in my drywall (I have a top notch drywall/paint guy and it's impossible to tell there were ever any holes). Moreover, they were very respectful of my wife, pets, wearing shoe covers, etc., and helpful throughout - even gifting me a CAT6 cable for my computer while we were testing connection speeds at the end. TLDR: I would highly recommend Tony and his team for his work. I will personally be using them again and have recommended them to others already. Excellent service, responsiveness and genuine customer service. Tony works with you not just for you. He worked with me on within my budget and timelines, and provided great suggestions, options and education to make sure I ended up with the best outcome. Everyone with his company I interacted with was professional, nice, and great at their jobs. Finally, he worked just as hard after the install and payments to locate grill covers for my recently purchased speakers. Which was hard as due to budget/value we went with end of model life options so the grills were no longer being produced. I may have gotten last two in America. This level of follow-through and post-sale support is rare today.
