When we arrived, we were greeted by the host and she sat us down. I really loved the aesthetic of the rustic look. Our sever was sweet and eager to explain all the specials and deals they had. They also gave my best friend a glass of champagne for her birthday. We ordered the following: - Deviled Eggs- these were so good that we ordered it twice! Creamy and warm - Brussels Sprouts- So sweet and loved the texture - Hot Honey Shrimp- Spectacular! - Pepperoni Flatbread- That was ate up in seconds - The Sweetheart wine flight- We loved it - Salmon Risotto- Salmon was perfect. I wish the Risotto was creamer and not firm I think she would go back and I would too.

The Greek Salad, Truffle Fries and Flourless Chocolate Cake were the standouts tonight. But also let me "shout out" to the Hostess working tonight. She alone made the entire evening inviting! She was kind, friendly and compassionate. Our server, was upbeat, and simply wonderful! And the sweet chef... He reminded me of our youngest son. Friendly and appreciative for our words of praise regarding our meal prep. Just to be clear on the staff, since I neglected to gather names... we were there tonight, arrived shortly before 8:00, and dined until 9:20. The atmosphere of the restaurant gives an upscale vibe, but they put up with our unexpected, casual dress. We spent the day in Harper's Ferry, and headed directly to the restaurant from there. Restaurant was clean and booths were comfortable. Two notes: music was a bit too loud (I'm hard of hearing and had trouble hearing my husband and wait staff over it) and the ladies room is tired... definitely time for a refresh. Neither of these would keep us from returning. Notes: I'm a difficult dinner. I know this going in and tell the staff. I have a myriad of food and other severe allergies and they were patient, kind and helpful with choices. They handled a minor unexpected glitch, with absolute professionalism and panache! I honestly don't think I've had a better dining experience, in recent memory. Oh! That flourless chocolate cake, was my birthday gift! I'm still savoring it in my mind! This restaurant will not disappoint! Thank-you. Thank-you.

Most cheese packs are sold with 4 blocks of cheese in 1 pkg. The Catawba brand of wine was was very nice, but the Cosmo slushy is better. It's refreshing on a hot day. TIP: limited parking in front of the facility & it sits on a corner of a highly traveled main road. Go past the winery, (right side; right lane) and take a right at its corner; take another right onto E Maple, the next street. From there, on the right is a graveled path. That's their area for patrons to park. Approx 8 cars can fit on left side of the path. No Food. Just cheese, crackers, and BlackOut pretzels.

The barrel aged wines that are specific like basil Hayden and makers mark are a very nice and unique touch! Made the wine very smooth! My husband is a super sweet (like grape juice sweet) wine drinker, and there wasn't a lot sweet enough for him but he did enjoy the raspberry wine slush and the peach wine! We will be back if we are in the area again!

This cozy, candlelit little spot is literally in a cellar--and it oozes charm. Pro tip: they're only open a few days a week, so call or shoot them a Facebook message to make sure you're on the list! Now the food... We started with the Drunken Mushrooms, and let me tell you, they were earthy, wine-kissed perfection. I skipped the garlic bread and just went full fork-to-fungus. No regrets. Next up: the homemade gnocchi with a meatball. Loved the meatball--meaty and not weighed down by breadcrumbs. The gnocchi was a little denser (which I like!), and it all just felt lovingly made. The Baked Haddock was fresh, light, and bathed in a lemon-wine sauce that made me want to go in for seconds... if I wasn't already full. But dessert called. We split the coconut cake, and it was gorgeous. Light, fluffy, with just a whisper of anise (which isn't my fave, but my mom was over the moon about it). This place feels like a secret passed from friend to friend--and now I'm passing it to you.
