Good ambiance. In someone's basement, it's cozy and romantic. Love the candles they light. They did charge us for water, I guess they only have bottles. Food was great except for calamari, just wasn't a fan. My favorite was the drunken mushrooms.

One of the best kept secrets in Cambria County. The atmosphere is great. Food was amazing and served by a friendly staff.

Excellent says it all! The owner cooks perfect Italian! Try the Drunken Shrimp and bread that joins it for starters!

Bright and shiny can best describe this place. This spot literally just opened up a week ago and…read morejust in time for the holidays and everyone, including myself, stopping to pick up some wine and spirits. You would think that the Ebensburg area has never seen an alcohol store for as many people were in here. I mean they were everywhere, and it was a tad bit annoying...come on lady, I want that bottle of moscato behind you. I don't need to overhear how your sister loves the dryness of the Merlot. With being a new store, they either ran out or ran low on some alcoholic beverages. I mean vodka is vodka, but I really wanted that specific brand. However, you mister behind the counter were correct with the suggestion of vodka, it's mixing well with my cranberry flavored soda...what, don't give that rolled eye look, lazy is good sometimes. Although the lady working the floor looked bored a majority of the time, she was very helpful. Especially when I had that blind, yes blind not blond, moment in the store. Looking for an item and it was right in front of me. I suggest if you are serious in a store like this, get the shopping cart at the front door. Also, make sure you get one of those bottle specific totes, they do wonders and you don't look like such a lush walking out after spending a pretty penny inside. But what do I know, I'll just sit over here and finish my freshly made cocktail and judge from afar.

Oh Pennsylvania State Stores, you are such a mixed blessing…read more I went to college in Philadelphia and visit the state at least twice a year. So I have a long track record of making wine and spirits purchases in the state owned wine and spirits shops. Compared to the wine and spirits shops of New York, the Pennsylvania stores are fantastic. Not only do they not engage in price gouging, but because the state has some bulk purchasing power, occasionally one can find incredible deals. However, because the stores are centrally run, often there is no passion behind the wine selection. And far too often, the bulk of items on the shelves are from large industrial producers. This Duncansville shop is fine, especially for a smaller store. I was able to find a good deal on a favorite value-brand of sparkling wine for New Year's Eve, and get in and out without much hassle. I hear this location will soon be getting a facelift, which is good. It's looking a little worn.
