    Red Tail Wine Slushie. Delish!
    Celeta S.

After shopping nearby I decided to stop in for a wine tasting. Tasted the Catawba and had a Red Tail Wine Slushie. Delish! Highly recommend both. I love the indoor and outdoor seating options. Very cozy but compliant with covid protocol. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff made it a great time. I would like to take my mom back to spend some time sampling wine and having some girl talk. This place is great for girls night, date night or solo missions when you just want to relax. Purchased some peach wine and I'm looking forward to trying it. They had lots of options to accommodate my taste so I'm looking forward to going back and trying the Reisling, Fruit Wine and Sangria. If you're in the area check out this gem. You won't be disappointed.

All I can say is "stop by!" The ladies working made us feel like regulars. They also had music entertainment outside (check their website for scheduled performers). We decided to sit inside just so we could enjoy their wine tasting. The one really cool thing about this place is you can make your own wine. Thy also sell wine kits to do at home. Thank you blue mountain for kicking my adult wkend get away off with a big

Wine tasting on a Saturday afternoon

We made reservations for our group of seven to tour this vineyard and experience their wine tasting. This experience was top notch all around! Gary aka Gerhart (sp?) greeted us as we got off our van and led us through his vineyard describing each of the types of grape vines in his 16 cultivated acres. He imparted so much knowledge about the culture of grape growing as he went with such ease. Once inside the tasting room, we were greeted by his wife Suzette where places were set for each of us at the bar with cheeses, crackers, sausage and chocolates to accompany the wine tasting. The wine tasting was informative, tasty and well presented by this couple who clearly know their grapes. Afterward we were able to order wine by the bottle or case. Highly recommend this personal wine tasting at this vineyard!

    Happy dog on cushion

Stopped in on our way from Western MD to Baltimore on a Sunday. It was a nice day and there was live music so we headed outside. We ordered a couple flights and a couple glasses. While we weren't crazy about the reds we loved the whites we had. We had our dog in tow and BMWC couldn't have been nicer. The outdoor space is mostly gravel but they brought a cushion, treats, and water for him. A very sweet gesture! We're always looking for dog friendly stops on our road trips and we've found a great spot. We will definitely be back when in the area.

Odd lil place but the staff was super friendly. The wine was ok. They had a lot to choose from but I personally didn't love any. They had entertainment that was fantastic. If you are close by, it's worth a stop.

This place is a hidden gem! It's very homey and super cute! It's family owned and operated and you can definitely tell. The staff makes you feel at home and it's very comfortable! The wine tastings are 6 for $6 and there are so many options. And you get a good amount for each tasting! They have so many options to chose fro. - everything from dry to fruit wines. They also sell make your own beer, cider, and wine kits! If you're ever in the area, you HAVE to stop by! You won't be disappointed.

This was an out of the way wine-bar with many wines to choose from. They make all their wine in house sourced from local fruits as well as imports from other states. They also have wine making classes, which they said would take about 6 weeks to get through. Very friendly people. They even had games for the kids to stay busy while the adults do their tastings. The location is beautiful. The atmosphere felt a little cluttered.

Enjoying wine...waiting on snow! Always a great place to relax...everyone is so friendly!

I see they're dog friendly, but are they kid friendly? Can you bring your well behaved kids with you here? And are there any non-alcoholic drink options?

We welcome closely supervised Children as well as dogs. We also offer non alcohol options and dog treats😊

We reserved a private space with a private tasting, which made the day feel extra special and perfect for a large group. For many of our guests, it was their first time visiting this location, and everyone had such a great time. One of the co-founders, Greg, personally led our tasting and was fantastic. He was knowledgeable, welcoming, and checked on us throughout the afternoon to make sure everything was going smoothly. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. I also appreciated that some friends who don't drink were still able to enjoy themselves thanks to the non-alcoholic options. The property itself is beautiful with scenic views, plenty of space to relax, and such a peaceful atmosphere. We had amazing weather the day we visited, which made it even more memorable. If you are looking for a great place for a birthday, celebration, group outing, or just a relaxing day with friends, I highly recommend! We will definitely be back.

I had an awesome first experience at Rocklands…read more I joined a group of 15-20 on the first really nice Saturday of the spring season; it was fairly crowded but we got there right at opening to secure a large section of shaded picnic tables. There was PLENTY of seating still - lots of large and small tables scattered throughout the property. They also have seating inside the winery at a small bar. The wine itself was really nice; we had several bottles of the rose at the table. It was light, crisp, and easy to sip in the nice weather. I was impressed that they also had 2 non alcoholic wines; the non drinkers in our group were happy to have some options made just for them (which were delicious also). There is a third party pizza business that had food offerings; we had many different types of their pizza which were all good. Very smart to have a food option for folks to enjoy while we sip our wine. Overall, the property is wonderfully maintained and the wines meet all expectations. I'd recommend giving this spot a try if you're looking for a nice winery north of the beltway!
