    chicken sandwich

This is the second time I've been here. First time I got a flat bread and the charcuterie board. Would for sure recommend both of those. This time I had a chicken sandwich and salad. Both were good but nothing special. The Moscow mules are pretty good. I would like to come back and try one of the wine flights. There's a little patio where you can sit outside. Service is good and quick.

The first winery in historic Bedford. I went to listen to Chet and Michael, and I was blown away with this music performed in this perfect room and the acoustic sounds of the "PennSOULvanians". If you're lucky enough to get a seat order the Bella Burger, it was so freaking delicious. The fontina cheese, garlic aioli, and homemade pickles made this burger absolutely delicious. My friend had the California Chipotle Chicken flatbread and said it was that good. Unfortunately, I have a sulfite allergy and cannot drink wine however my friend said the Riesling was good and paired well with the flatbread. They offer beer on tap from Olde Bedford Brewery, "Not your average Joe" 4% ABV. This Kolsch style beer was crisp and refreshing. Erica our server was full of energy and had a knack for reading people and knew exactly what we should order. Just go and you will be impressed. Good times.

Wow, what a surprise. Nestled in small town Bedford is a nice little quaint place. Prices were reasonable, wine was awesome, service was great, and food was wow. From a well traveled guy that's been to Napa several times, this place could thrive there. And it's Bedford? Geez. Please go.

We were greeted immediately upon entering & offered several options for seating. We decided to sit in the back room at a 'high top', I probably wouldn't choose this table again only because it's right next to a private employee bathroom. The server was very nice, brought our beverages quickly. I chose the Lemberger wine, which I've had before & never disappoints. I chose the turkey melt with truffle fries & it was delicious. The avocado was so fresh, the turkey was pulled apart and tender, the bacon was a perfect combination, I decided although to remove the giant leaf from the sandwich. My husband chose the California chicken chipotle flatbread & it had a smoky delicious flavor. I definitely look forward to returning.

Bella Terra has moved to a new spot. Food is great, atmosphere is great. Wine, of course, is wonderful. Service is exceptional. Check it out!

Bedford was very sleepy on a Sunday, but I was excited to see Briar Valley Vineyard & Winery tasting room open. It's a rather large with bar in the middle where the tastings take place, a lounge area, tables, and storefront. We paid $5 for a tasting of eight wines. I never tried PA wines before and there were a few names that were new to me. As we made our way through the whites then the reds, the gentleman guiding or tasting gave us a little insight into the vineyard and answered all of our questions. I prefer red over whites and there were a couple that I really liked. I would've grabbed a bottle or two if I was in the mood to check a bag. but for this time around, a taste was enough! We were in and out rather quickly but it was definitely worth the stop if you have some time to spare in Bedford.

We were on our way home from a winery trip. The wines here were ok. Nothing super special. The guy that greeted us and waited on us was very friendly. I thought the prices were HIGH for a mediocre winery. Maybe since there is only one other winery in town, it allows them to go with higher prices.

I was living in California and every time I'd get back to the east coast, she'd suggest going here. Unfortunately, we never got to experience a visit here together after she suddenly passed from an aggressive cancer. It became my goal to come here and visit with her on my mind. Years later, I moved back to the east coast and booked a random weekend just for fun. I'm married now with kids so we made the drive here to experience all that the Omni had to offer. I've stayed at other Omni resorts and I wavered on what this place would land on ratings wise. Overall, it's a beautiful hotel with a lot of history that I loved learning about. My kids absolutely loved the indoor pool. It is as gorgeous as the photos look. It's a nice spot, especially when it's a chilly Pennsylvania day like when we visited. With that said, there isn't a ton to do here with kids. It was the perfect amount of time for us, but met other families who were struggling to keep their own kids occupied. There are some really nice trails around the property, which are perfect. And you can also check out some free toys and games from one of the shops inside. That said, if you don't have great weather, options can be limited. We didn't get a chance to visit the spa, but the space looks amazing from what I saw online. The rooms were spacious and well set up for a family. We ate at a few of the restaurants on site. Service was mostly on point though the tavern was really off. Our server was perfectly friendly but pretty much messed up the entire order. I would go back but not sure I'd be eager to rush back anytime soon. We did enjoy the experience but I think a few bumps could be worked out such as helping with our luggage upon arrival. We were able to valet but couldn't find anyone to help us with the bags and the rolling carts don't easily go over the front door to get inside. Between me and my partner, we were able to make it work. But it's those small details that make a property really stand out.

Afterward, we had lunch at the Frontier Tavern, and everything was fantastic. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the food was absolutely delicious, and the service was outstanding. Every member of the staff we interacted with went above and beyond to make our visit special. From the spa to lunch, the entire experience was memorable and truly exceeded our expectations. It was the perfect way to celebrate a birthday, and we can't wait to come back again.

Unfortunately, our most recent visit was very disappointing. We ordered the chicken wings, and they were clearly undercooked--the bones were actually cold, which was very concerning. Our server handled the situation exceptionally well and went above and beyond to make things right. We truly appreciated their professionalism and willingness to resolve the issue. However, by that point we had lost our appetite and decided to leave. While this experience was disappointing, we're hopeful it was just an isolated incident because our previous visits have always been enjoyable. We're grateful for the excellent service we received and hope the kitchen can address the food quality issues moving forward.
