We were visiting from DC and it was about what we'd expect to get in DC. We asked for help and nobody seemed to be available to offer or even give us any guidance. I know they must be understaffed but it's not great customer service. We will say that the inside country market looks great. I liked all the fresh vegetables and Pennsylvania baked goods for sale. I grew up in PA so love tasty Amish baked goods and the usual PA foods you'd find in that area. If coming to the market, this is probably a good experience. Looking to buy plants? Not the place, especially if you have any questions. Highly disappointed with that and ended up heading north to Spring Farm Nursery where they went above and beyond in helping us.

I went for ice cream but was staring at the prepared foods section when a young lady asked if I was there for food or ice cream - I said I wasn't really sure so she showed me everything that was available then prepared my to-go container (which I ate inside at one of the tables) and then got a gigantic "medium" twist cone for the road. I should have taken a picture but I had already licked the top of the cone. Everything was great: the gals working here were all super friendly, the food was terrific, and the ice cream was extremely cold soft-serve so it didn't melt the moment I walked outside - that was important on a 93 degree day. I left happy for a great meal and a positive experience. I used to ride my motorcycle past here I have no idea how many times and wish I'd stopped but now I have a place to come for food that's delicious and not a chain. Thanks!

Taste testing was highly encouraged and if the product did not have a sample laying out, the employee made up a sample in the back. They have an array of flavored oils that may all be sampled. I ended up with a fig balsamic that I use as a salad dressing. It has become my new favorite. I purchased the bacon flavored oil for my brother in law who enjoyed it. Recently, I tried the house blend and really liked it! I may have to add that to my list the next time I am in town. In addition to oils, they have a variety of spreads, marmalade's, nut butters, sauces, and seasonings. A salted caramel spread drew us in and we have used it on ice cream and pancakes. Last time, they had a spiced chai nut butter that was to die for! Finally, my brother in law raved about one of the meat rubs I purchased for him. They also have tea and beans to purchase, as well as some other items. They even have a cooler with some fun things to take home. At first we thought it was just a typical coffee spot, but the menu proved us wrong. They do have typical coffee menu with some delicious coffee! But they also have an AM and an PM menu with some super creative options for food. We actually were in town for 2 nights and went both days! The baked goods are drool worthy! You will want one of everything. We tired the lavender blueberry scone. I don't like scones. I always think they are way too dry. These things are not! They are massive and full of flavor. Super tender too. We also got the coffee cake. This was just okay. I would opt for something else unless you ask if it was made that day. Just meh. It was a huge piece though! Super nice staff and very efficient. You can tell they make their food as it is delicious. This isn't a heat it up kind of place. They are cooking. Their baked goods are absolutely amazing! The portions are monster sized. You will need a to go box. We ordered coffees - delicious. Grab some beans to go! Then, we ordered a smoked salmon bagel with capers, pickled red onions, and flavored cream cheese. This was absolutely delicious and HUGE!!! Tons of salmon, the flavors were terrific! Also ordered the pork belly Benedict and it was just as good. This is served on two homemade lard biscuits. Like seriously??? Absolutely delicious! Can't recommend both of these things enough. We were going to come for dinner, but didn't realize they were closed. Apparently they have an incredible fish and chips that's to die for. This place is awesome!!!! Prices are reasonable too!

Their famous cake slices have been dry and tasteless. Watched one of the workers make pizzas with her bare hands, sneeze, blow her nose, and continue making pizzas without washing her hands. And their once wonderful bread has become dry and just different. Bought two hard rolls for $1.99 last week, and they were so hard they crumbled on the outside, and nothing but air on the inside. No bread inside, and had to be tossed. That's the bad. The good is their deli, meats, frozen foods, and especially the olive bar (although smaller now) , are all still the same delicious quality it has always been. Best olive bar in town.
