I do not get him in the full Westie cut, with the full skirt, as he just gets too dirty, but they do a great job of clipping him down to a puppy cut, shorter in summer and a bit longer in winter. A couple of years ago my dig became ill. they called and cuddled him, separated from the other dogs until I picked him up. He ended up needing surgery for a ruptured abscess on his liver. They called the next day to ask how he was doing. I love the staff and the service.

The entire appointment lasted five minutes, yet I was charged $96. My cat was returned to me with loose fur still hanging from her belly, knots still present, and her nails untrimmed, despite being billed for them. But the worst part came after we got home. My cat had a one‑inch cut under her right front leg -- in the exact area the groomer shaved. This wound required stitches. We do not shave or groom our cat at home, so the injury could only have occurred during the appointment. When I contacted the business, instead of taking responsibility, they attempted to deflect blame and suggest the injury happened elsewhere. The photos clearly show the shaved patch and the cut in the same location. Their explanation was not only inaccurate -- it was dismissive and unprofessional. A rushed five‑minute service, incomplete grooming, a serious injury, and then an attempt to deny responsibility. Pet owners should be aware of this before trusting this facility with their animals. I strongly advise others to think twice before booking here.

I told the person at the cash that I was there and she said sorry the appt is cancelled... I said but I am only 15 mins late and my appt is for 3 hours. She asked the groomer and she declined. Said she didnt have the time now. I asked if they could simply bath the dog and clip the nails without cutting the hair. They said no but If I would have to pay for the appt anyway because I did not show up on time. I paid almost 100.00 for nothing. It's a lot to think about with these two! Also kidney disease cat doesnt use a litter box, so picking up random poo and pee pads is done without complaint. She also recently squeezed us in at the last minute on a holiday long weekend for a night away, our big thanks for that! We are beyond pleased, and happily recommend Petra for your cat sitting needs.
