I would recommend Above & Beyond Pecare to anyone for any petcare need!

If you want to buy fish, or live plants avoid this place…read more Been testing them for over a year now, everything I purchase out of their tanks is diseased and infected including their plants. You want to buy dead or soon to be dead fish, get yours from this cesspool. Most of the staff are rude and entitled and do not fear any consequence for destroying their employers business. When you tell them you want to buy a fish, they hate it, seem bothered by the act of needing to catch a fish, and they will act rude to ensure you never come back as a fishkeeper. Their tanks are disgusting, they never clean the gravel, no wonder their entire rack system is infected and has been continuously for over a year. Save your money.

I told the person at the cash that I was there and she said sorry the appt is cancelled... I said but I am only 15 mins late and my appt is for 3 hours. She asked the groomer and she declined. Said she didnt have the time now. I asked if they could simply bath the dog and clip the nails without cutting the hair. They said no but If I would have to pay for the appt anyway because I did not show up on time. I paid almost 100.00 for nothing. I can see losing the apt. but why would I have to pay for the spot when it was obviously filled by a walk in? Crazy. Never going there. Would never recommend them.

I am 65 in good health, with no infirmities, but that aside, helping customers with heavy goods should be SOP. It is not. The last time I was there a twenty something male watched me carry the bags to the counter, then watched as I loaded my cart. Just I was putting the last bag in the cart he asked, "Do you want a hand with that?" "Not at this point no." Other than that they are reasonably good and will answer questions. They also stopped taking cats for adoption. I asked why and was told, "It's too much trouble".

My 4 year old Italian Greyhound has been going to Dragonluck for the past year after I did my…read moreresearch trying to find the best day care for him. I toured 3 other places before choosing Dragonluck. My dog was rescued from a puppy mill and has severe separation anxiety and housebreaking issues...It is hard to put into words what Dragonluck has done for his rehabilitation! Dawn spent a lot of time teaching him to stay close to her when off-leash (greyhounds tend to take off so this is an accomplishment). After we had been sending him three times per week for a couple of months, we noticed an incredible difference In his behaviour and confidence. Dawn is very flexible and happy to take the dogs whenever is needed and with little notice. She has a tremendous amount of knowledge and is happy to share it because she really loves all of her clients. The property is large and there is a place for them to swim and play, and it's all well fenced. My dog loves going here and starts dancing in the back seat as soon as we turn into the driveway. The price is very reasonable! I don't hesitate to recommend Dragonluck to anyone. Dawn and her helpers are wonderful!

4.5 stars from us!! We were going to Ottawa the August long…read moreweekend to attend our daughter's wedding. Having never been before we decided to make a holiday of it and take our motorhome and of course Cooper(our puggle) came with us. After searching for a kennel online we happened to contact Dawn at Dragonluck Kennels. Not only did she help us with our questions and helped make our choice to use dragonluck, she went above and beyond. We emailed back and forth with her replies being quick not leaving me waiting. Originally Cooper was going to just use the daycare for a few hours the day of the wedding, however plans changed and he ended up on an overnight. In order to allow us to sight see the next day before leaving Ottawa, she offered to deliver Cooper to us at our campground, saving us a trip back out to the kennel (at least 1/2 hour away). Cooper was in fine spirit and didn't seem to have any anxiety over being away from us. And he ate!!! That is incredible in itself. As he is 11+ years, he has developed some separation anxiety when in strange environments. Apparently not at Dragonluck. Dawn and the staff get a huge thumbs up from us, Great experience. The location is A-1 also - cant go wrong with the country feel!! Needing a kennel for your furry pet for a few hours or overnight, call them up - you wont regret it!! ~Sheila & Lonney~

I left my dog here last week for 9 days while we went on a trip. On the morning that I was supposed…read moreto pick him up, I received a call that something was wrong with his eye. I immediately picked him up and was shocked to see A DEEP HOLE in his right eye. It was swollen almost shut and covered in pus. I couldn't believe how bad his eye was and that no one had called us! We rushed him to the animal hospital where we were told that the cut was so deep he needed to see a specialist. He was obviously in a great deal of pain so the hospital had to give him pain killers while we waited. He had emergency surgery today which cost us $4000 and there is no guarantee he won't lose his right eye. The doctor confirmed that this had happened several days prior and had been getting worse. I am outraged that no one did anything while he was in their care. Photos taken show that his eye was obviously infected days prior and no communication was given to us or his emergency contact. Do yourself a favour and book somewhere else. Even though management refunded us for his stay, the mistreatment and neglect of animals like this is not okay.
